Pav and raw onions that come on the side
    Michelle E.

EggLaari is an family owned Indian food truck in the Anderson Mill International Food Park with absolutely DELICIOUS egg-focused Indian dishes FAST FACTS: * Parking: decent size lot near the food park but it can be hard to find a spot when it's busy * Walk up and order at the truck... you'll get a pager to let you know when your order is ready * Online ordering: available for pickup and delivery * Outdoor seating: lots of picnic tables around the truck * Accepts credit cards * Closed Monday and Tuesday SERVICE: The worker I interacted with was super nice! I ordered at 7:21 pm on a Friday night and my order was ready at 7:27 pm. There was no line when I ordered. PRICING: The total was $15.14 after tax ($1.15) but before tip for an egg cheese masala ($13.99) I feel like the pricing was in line with the other food trucks in the park and is reasonable for the portion size. EGG CHEESE MASALA (8/10) - Absolutely delicious and jam packed with flavor! You get pav (toasted and sliced bread roll) and some raw onions on the side. The eggs are boiled and sliced throughout an Amul cheese gravy. I didn't get a ton of cheese flavor but the gravy is so creamy and flavorful! I got medium spice but would definitely go spicer next time because I didn't get any spice. I'd order this again but I want to try some of their other dishes as well! I love how unique the offerings at EggLaari are and they're pretty high in protein without containing meat. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes and would recommend EggLaari to others when visiting the food truck park!

Another food truck from international food truck zone. I tried green malai chaap and it was a yum. The portion is small but 15 gms of protein. Definitely will try again next time along with Paneer Gotalo.

What a dish Soya Chaap (Green Malai). I was told that if customers don't order much Soya Chaap, they will discontinue it. I hope they keep it on the menu. Would live ti try it again next time. Due to an egg shortage, all egg dishes were $1 more than the menu prices. There is plenty of covered seating available. You order your food, receive a pager, and wait until it beeps. Then collect your food at the window and enjoy!

I actually planned on trying another food truck in this food truck park, but that truck was closed when I arrived. So I looked around for the next best option and EggLaari popped up as a new spot that had great reviews. Looking at the menu and pictures of food, the Surti Gotalo looked the most interesting. I ordered, got medium spice level, and got a pager to wait for my food. It didn't take long before my food arrived to-go (maybe 10 minutes). Surti Gotalo - the dish came with some toasted buns (mine were like Hawaiian rolls sized) and some fresh onions, which I happily poured all over the dish. Apparently, this is a popular street in India, and it had the feeling of street food, easy to eat, jam-packed with flavor. The saucy part, reminded me of a saucy egg salad, except with a ton of Indian spices, and I didn't get any of that gross egg-salad scent either. There was also a sunny side egg on top, which gave it a nice egg richness flavor. Overall, I quite enjoyed the dish, I think if I had one note, it would be that it felt like a quick snack or breakfast. I finished it all in like 5 minutes. I would've liked a little more substance, or maybe more bread to eat with it.

    New food truck!!

New foodtruck that opened in North Austin. We stopped by on a Saturday and it was getting some attention so we decided to try it. Overall the food was delicious! Definitely had a street food vibe but you can tell the owners care about their cuisine. They also have string lights and benches out for patrons to use!

The food truck park was pretty busy with a bunch of Indian food trucks along with a variety of other cuisines. They had ample covered seating and pretty lights for ambiance. Service was fine. There's also signage that says Halal so my parents ate here as well which was super convenient. We ordered lollipop chicken, Schezwan lollipop chicken, tandoori chicken fried rice, chicken Schezwan noodles, and chicken Hakka noodles. Price came to about $65 before tax. The noodle and rice dishes came completely packed and we were really surprised and happy about that. Really amazing portions. To rate each dish: Lollipop Chicken - 9/10: These are wings to resemble lollipops, marinated in spices, and deep fried. Absolutely nostalgic and hit all the right spots. Schezwan Lollipop Chicken - 9/10: Similar to the above but tossed in a spicy Schezwan sauce. It was excellent & wifeys favorite though I prefer the original as it's crisper and dry while this is wetter. Tandoori Chicken Fried Rice - 7/10: Fried rice with pieces of tandoori chicken. This was okay and not my favorite mainly due to it being a bit dry. They did load it up with a ton of chicken though. Chicken Schezwan Noodles - 8/10: Love the color, wife's 2nd favorite. I prefer the Hakka noodles but this was a solid choice. Chicken Hakka Noodles - 9/10: Totally hit the spot with the right flavors. Milder than the rest and just what I was wanting. Overall, I liked the food. I don't eat Indo-Chinese often but I wouldn't mind ordering the chicken lollipops or Hakka noodles again. The problem at this location its very chicken-heavy. I get why there's no beef, but I do wish there was some variety with shrimp/prawn or lamb/goat.

I feel like the rice could have benefitted from a bit more seasoning but I loved the plantains. For beverages we each decided to try one of their specialty beverages, Soursop and Sorrel. Realizing we were rookies when we ordered them, they were kind enough to offer us a taste of them just to be sure we liked them before paying for them which I appreciated. My teenager chose the sweet version of the Soursop while I had the Sorrel which reminded me of kambucha. This food truck is one of the most reliably open food trucks in this area. Unlike some food truck areas, this area has been developed as a nice area to not just pick up food but to stay and eat. Located in a parking lot between an apartment complex and a crossfit business, this is one of 5 or 6 food trucks in a strip with another group of 5 or 6 more food trucks across the parking lot. They have recently improved this area with lots of tables, astroturf in some areas, and both natural shade and shade structures.

Monk's Momo offers several styles, including steamed, fried, chili, and jhol (soup-based) momos.
