I had been intrigued by this place for months. It's situated on a major street not far from a freeway. Upon entering, the music was playing and there was a row of beer choices that you pay for by initiating a card that allows you to get a cup of beer. This self-service is fun except who drinks multiple glasses of beer between 8am-3pm- their hours of operation. The place is dog friendly and has board and bar games throughout the place. As I approached the counter, I was attempting to use the kiosk when an employee stopped me to show me how it worked. Note: only nerds living in their mother basement during COVID would not know how to operate this to place an order- this was irritating as hell. I ordered the fried egg sandwich on a brioche, no bacon, an extra egg, with cheddar cheese. Note: they cook all eggs Sunnyside up unless you know to ask for it cooked otherwise. I asked for it fried hard. When the order was completed, the other egg was missed. She confirmed that I did want the extra egg and this took an additional 15 to cook another egg and place it on the sandwich. There were about 3 other people in the place. When I got the sandwich, the first bite is the make or break for me. I got a cold fried egg sandwich with American, not cheddar cheese that was barely melted. I liked the brioche but if ordering an extra egg stumps a place that only cooks eggs, I am not wondering down that hole again. read more

Our first time at Egghole was a pretty good experience. It was a few hours before closing on a Sunday so we escaped the bigger brunch masses. My husband believes this rating should be 3.5 but I think it's 4. Pros: lots of beer/ciders to choose from, good tea and lemonade, fresh ingredients, good portions and good taste. Cons: my husband is a bit of an egg snob, so he was quite upset that the "runny egg" portion of his meals was overly cooked. Also, did this place miss the memo on inflation? The prices are absurd, to be honest. If you don't mind paying so much, be my guest, but this is not for a large family or average Joe to splurge on often. Yes, we added a lot of extras, so our bill, as you can see, was ridiculous but honestly, the price point is still crazy. And they ask you for tips 2x, as you pay and after you get your receipt. Who are we tipping? Because we get the food ourselves, so does it go to the cooks? I only saw the manager cleaning and picking up. The gal behind the counter just did basic to and from motions and drinks. The area is also sketchy AF. I guess if you can afford Seattle prices, this is fine too. read more

We had a fun experience at Egghole on a Saturday afternoon. Carla at the bar was extremely helpful and accommodating even when I got confused by the beer wall! The burger was great and the fries good too. The beer selection was good and it was fun to use the card to try small pours of several things. Some of the taps came out foamy, though. I don't know if that was my fault or not! There were games on all the tables, like Giant Jenga and a big Connect 4. I would definitely return. read more

Came for lunch with my husband. I ordered the B.E.C., over hard. He ordered the cheeseburger and fries. We sat down, played a couple of games of tic-tac-toe and waited... and waited. Finally after 20 minutes I checked on our order and was told they were waiting on the patties. Mind you, there were 6 other patrons, 4 of which had their orders. I love their french fries and all the different variations they created. I visit once in awhile and it's a nice surprise when there's a new creation of fries. There's so many options of sandwiches, you'll find something to fit your mood on different days. This place is great for group brunches or solo meals. Good beer selection. I like the wall of beer that I can self-serve from. They charge by the beer/cider by the oz. It's convenient. Don't forget your card in the slot like I've done a couple of times. The burgers are very good. I like the breakfast burger best. Pretty much my go-to here. The fries are shoestring, and okay, but I prefer a thicker-cut fry. The people here are super-nice, friendly, and helpful. I've had nothing but great experiences. All in all, this is a great shop to grab a burger and some drinks and hang out with people. The only bad thing was it was a little greasy, but the taste was amazing! The sauces were top notch. Fries were crispy and thin. Ambience was absolutely amazing and had a great experience with the various games they have throughout. Although there was one (behind the food pictured) we didn't know how to play lol The service the amazing too. Even though we ordered on the display, the person at the counter (female) was very attentive and polite. She'd even encouraged me to try out all the great sauces. It's been a few years so I'll just update to say Egghole is still my local favorite. I love the "Walk of Shame" over a salad instead of a bun. The crispy bacon is perfect. And the shoestring french fries, with or without garlic are absolutely cravable. We came here on a Sunday morning. There were plenty of customers but we were still able to find a spot to sit down by the window. The toasted brioche buns in the sandwiches were good. And they were easy to cut in through for sharing. The Walk of Shame sandwich was tasty and had plenty of fluffy scrambled eggs on the inside. It was as tasty as the sandwiches with meat inside. The Friends with Benefits sandwich was good - crisy smoke bacon and local cafe free runny egg scratch hollandaise. I like the Walk of Shane slightly more because of the fluffy eggs. The Papi's fries were good when I mixed the fries with the toppings, including avocado. For dips, we went with the wasabi mayo and Bloody Mary. I like this place a lot. It's a nice breakfast/brunch place. There are a lot of games set up to play while you eat. Their fries are yummy as well. The only thing is that the burgers are pretty bland, all you taste is egg , bun, and bacon if you have it. So Egg-cited that after months upon months of wanting to come here I have finally made it in and it did not disappoint! I was going into Kent to see a movie today and I figured this is my opportunity to go to the Kent location. I ordered the Walk of Shame( eggs, caramelized onions , cheese and sriracha Mayo) no bun -substitute side salad for the bun, an order Papi's fries (shoestring potato fries topped with Beecher's flagship cheese, avocado and sriracha Mayo), an Alkaline water and a dark maple flavored cider. After eating, I can say that this is one of those rare places that deserves 9 stars on Yelp ... seriously. They made the eggs perfect, didn't burn any of my food, everything tasted fresh and the eggs went great on top of the side salad and those Papi's fries.... AYE PAPI ! I bare witness to a revolutionary cuisine!! Don't even get me started on the maple cider... it was all delicious !!! So this review might be slightly biased. He was so nice and took the time to answer questions and engage with people. Seriously, I wish I could convey the flavor combos, the sauce to fry ratio, the perfection that was the meaty-gooey-cheesy goodness...but words fail me. A friend was landing into Washington early morning, and we needed to kill time around the area. Found this cute little restaurant to check out with a selection of breakfast and lunch items ALONG with beers. Who's going to be drinking beer in the morning? WE ARE. Walking in, the place definitely did not give a "brunch" vibe as there was a wall of a variety of beer taps. There was also a corner of board games for customers to enjoy as they ate and socialized. I got the Friends with Benedict which came with smoked bacon and a runny egg. The bun was buttery and soft which I really enjoyed! The sandwich itself was super messy with the runny egg but delicious! Nothing in particular stood out as it was just like a regular breakfast sandwich. My boyfriend got the Brunch Burger which came with a beef patty and a runny egg. Delicious but also nothing about it stood out. We also got a side order of the Papi's Fries which came with avocado, sriracha mayo, and cheese. I thought the fries was the best part of the meal LOL. They were thin fries that were perfectly fried and crispy which I enjoyed a lot! The sriracha mayo was a great compliment to the fries, and I asked for a side of wasabi mayo which also made it really good. Avocados were kind of random but "refreshing" with the fries. My boyfriend and I decided to be psychopaths and ordered a beer to share. It's 5pm somewhere, isn't it? LOL. We got the Milk Stout Nitro (I think... all the beers sound the same to me LOL). Husband loved the tangerine sour beer he bought separately, and the kids liked the organic lemonade. I got the tractor iced sweet tea - not too sweet, very subtle and refreshing black tea! Would be a hit in the summer. The brioche was soft and mildly sweet, the bacon not too salty if at all; and the hollandaise added a nice cream base (I also added American cheese). Sausage had a nice kick as well. Skinny fries and seasoning was crunchy and well seasoned. A very interactive environment with plastic axe throwing, giant games like connect 4, board games, and pet friendly. Treated to a breakfast sammie by The College Friend as our first stop in Kent. This was a long haul for us coming from Shoreline and North Seattle (6/8/22). First impressions: drive through, onsite dining, and takeout available, beer wall, vast dining area - both indoor and outdoor, and orders placed from one of two counter kiosks. Menu items run from breakfast sammies, burgers, fries, and beverages. Clean, efficient gathering place for a decent, no frills, quality meal. I had the sausage, yolky egg, and cheese on a brioche bun. Definitely major upgrade from a generic McD Sausage McMuffin with Egg. Tasty and filling, just make sure to have some napkins at the ready. The College Friend had the breakfast sammie with bacon, yolky egg, and cheese on a brioche and an order of fries. She enjoyed the not overly salty bacon - just right - and wondered whether the brioche buns were made onsite. She also commented on the friendly customer service when our order was ready. I may be one of the few that doesn't enjoy Egghole. The customer service and self order kiosks are great but even after going here multiple times and trying to enjoy the food I just can't. I've had several sandwiches and get the morning after fries but nothing sits well with me. I REALLY want to love this place and love breakfast sandwiches but something about these sandwiches don't hit the spot. The location and room inside is extremely large and roughly pretty empty almost every time I've went in there. 6/10 for the sandwiches and the fries are maybe a 7/10 for me. We headed down straight from SeaTac and I personally was looking for the greasiest breakfast possible to satisfy the munchies. Similar concept to eggslut. I paired my sandwich with a peanut butter stout. Who could frown at a beautifully toasted brioche bun, softly scrambled (read: fluffy) eggs, caramelized onions and mayo with a kick? I loved the fries as well, it was crispy like chips and texture to match. Best breakfast I had on our trip to WA!
