I have been to this place a few times now. The food is absolutely amazing. The only complaint is that there food is a little bit greasy, but there is no way around that. The food portions are great and the service is great. Keep up the great work. read more

Very tatesy! Nice place, friendly Staff. The establishment is clean, though not a big place, it does stay busy, at least during the time we ate there. Go check it out if you are in or near Cypress. We came from Garden Grove because our son has eaten here and said they are worth the $. read more

It's was my first time trying egg n bird and I enjoyed it. it's located on the corner of knott and katella. Theres plenty of parking, as I entered the worker Emerald was friendly, positive and helpful. I was going to go with a chicken sandwich but the bowls caught my eye. I went with the Korean flavored one. They have a handful of flavors to choose from and all sound tasty. When I got home and tasted the food, the chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy within. I was disappointed in the rice tbh, it was mushy and didn't pair well with the chicken. My advice, give a option for rice since some people prefer it to be less wet. Next time, I'll try the sandwiches. Overall the main star, the chicken was flavorful and service was quick/friendly. read more

If the store called Egg N Bird. You can see why the item called Egg N Bird will be my top pick and my fav, very simple fried chicken, fried egg, no cheese, add bacon, crack sauce and maybe even go with no bun or gluten free bun as long as they offer that. I will say any Egg N Bird location, I will be ordering the same thing over and over, it's original and because I was not too crazy about the bowl or FC in anything else read more

The service here was amazing! The girl at the register was very kind and helpful and so sweet. However, that's the only reason I'm giving this place two stars. I ordered the sandwhich extra hot and my friend ordered the korean chicken bowl and we got the elote fries to share. The sandwich buns were soaked in their sweet sauce and the chicken was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The elote fries had very dry chicken as well and the corn was too mushy. My friend did not enjoy her bowl either as it lacked flavor. Especially for getting the hottest level of spice, I expected some amount of kick, but there was none. read more

We tried the namesake Egg N Bird chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. I'm always really judgmental when there's any type of sweetness mixed into a savory item and hot honey is all the rage right now and holla, it wasn't too sweet at all. The chicken was massive and juicy, the egg yolk was bleeding perfectly, veggies were good. You want some fried chicken? This is the joint. In the OC, the only other chicken place that surpasses it is Holdaak (omg so good), but Holdaak only has two locations in the Fullerton area, so for something closer to home, Egg N Bird. read more

Update: I can't go higher than 5 stars! I tried the PBJJ and it blew my mind. That flavor combo was so unexpected in the best way. Pbj, jalapeños, runny fried egg, and crispy crunchy chicken! I love a chicken sandwich. I get them everywhere I go, so when I say that this is one of the best, I really mean it. The menu is not over complicated and still provides enough options for any specific crispy chicken craving I might have. They have sandwiches, bowls, burritos, strips. They have delicious Fries, with bits of fried chicken and choices of flavor. I got the Elote Fries today and it was a MEAL. I also had the Korean Bowl with the vinegar slaw and a fried egg. Everything goes together so well. Their flavors are perfect, nothing overpowers or is underwhelming they all compliment one another. Each time I've visited, the staff have been courteous and patient with me, the dinning room is clean, and the bathrooms are immaculate. The only thing I haven't had is their breakfast but you best believe I'll be back for it, I'm dying to try the PBJJ sandwich! read more

So I've been following ENB on Instagram for couple of years based solely on how appetizing the food looks in photos. Kept telling myself that someday I'd make it out to Cypress to give them a try. Today was the day. First thing: it's a 15-min drive from my office in Long Beach to their location. So I ordered online and used their anticipated 20-min prep time to make the drive. I ordered the three-slider flight, one of each kind, with regular seasoned fries and a bottle of Dasani. With tax, $21, so a bit expensive. Maybe the gift would be worth it! The website said it would be ready by 1:07 PM. I got there at 1:06 PM thinking it would just be ready for me. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was that there was no Online Order Pickup counter like other places have, so I had to wait in line behind two others, including one guy who ordered $40 worth of food just for him. No biggie, the line moved quickly. The second thing I noticed was how cold it was inside. It was only about 65° outside, and it felt colder inside. I got my order, which I noticed was already sitting there when I walked in. A slight concern but I managed. I'd eat the fries on the way back to the office because nothing is worse than to-go fries that have sat in the bag for too long. The fries were pathetic, sorry to say. Overcooked and under-seasoned. 3/10 and I'm being generous! I got back to my office to eat the sliders. They were individually wrapped, plus a toothpick to hold each one together. They weren't terribly warm by then but I could deal with that. Nice soft, sweet King's Hawaiian bun. Crunchy slaw and pickles. Good breading with juicy breast meat. A good-sized slider, I would've been satisfied with just two, but I rallied and ate them all. 8/10 and it would've been higher except for the fact that they all kind of tasted the same. One was a little spicier than the others but overall it only resembled a "flight" in concept, not execution. Overall a 6/10 for the cold space, the inaccurate timing on when my food would be ready, and the terrible fries (worse than In 'n Out fries!). Congrats to the social media team for doing such a great job presenting the food as totally appetizing, but in the end they over promised and under delivered. read more

If you like fat fried chicken strips, eggs, fries, interesting sides & sauces including one called Crack you'll like Egg & Bird, so shiny & new. The location is quite visible on the corner of Katella & Knott with the former long-time tenant, a sushi restaurant. The menu features these categories: Egg Breakfast, Bird In A Bun, Bird In A Bowl & Sides N Such. Egg Breakfast is available till 11:00 a.m. but you can get the Burrito all day. I ordered the Loco Bowl maybe because the crazy mix mirrored my mood...wild rice, loco sauce, green onions, scrambled egg & of course chopped soy glazed buttermilk fried chicken. It was a tasty mix of slightly sweet & savory however, for the price I'd like to see it mounded higher in the bowl. My Boyfriend got the Nashville Hot in Mild but still nicely spicy. He liked it but still thinks KFC & Crimson Coward are his favs for Chicken Sandwiches. The fries were tasty but not very hot. They may have been sitting for a bit, perhaps because when we walked in we were the only new customers. I'm into trying everything on the menu eventually, the cool combos intrigue me. I wouldn't mind if there was a non-fried chicken offering but I realize that's not what these places are about. I had the House-Brewed Coffee & i liked that it was the same price as the sodas & you can serve yourself. Service seemed sincere & helpful. We also got a 15% off business card to use next time. read more

Just finished the Korean Bowl ... Actually it was several minutes ago, I've been sitting here savoring the delicious mix of egg ,rice, slaw and the duplicitous-crispy/tender chicken drizzled with their special sauce. We also their iced coffee flavored with their the in-house creamer..it was so refreshing! And just when I thought it couldn't get any better,we were invited to try a fresh hot serving of their flavorful toasted sweet and buttery CinnamonSticks ...all I can say is I wish I had an extra pair of hands, so I could give them four thumbs Up!! read more

i've been ordering from here on a consistent basis because the food is just consistently delicious. the quality never fails and i'm always full from my meal. We've only visited this place once and ordered to go, but I was impressed by the variety of options that could be served with this chicken (plain with fries & toast, with fries and toppings, or as a sandwich). We got the chicken combo for the kids to eat and bird-b-q fries for me and the hubby. It's a generous portion that's best for sharing since I couldn't finish the fries for sure. The place is clean, plenty of parking spaces at this plaza, and the service was quick. I'd return here to try other menu items when the next chicken craving hits. read more

The location is convenient and located near Cypress College across from the Target on Katella! I was glad to find this place after my early morning class. I've seen this place while browsing for food a few times but finally got to try it now. I'm very happy that they opened quite early that I didn't have to wait after class. The place is very spacious and clean so it's a good place if you want to stop by for lunch. The workers were very nice, and the food was made pretty quickly! I tried the egg n bird burrito and it was absolutely amazing!! The burrito were filled which was definitely cheap for the price I'd say! The sauce was in the right amount and you can taste the flavorful chicken balance out with the egg. I'm not sure if it's the chicken or the fries but something was veryy crispyyy which makes it 10x better!! This will definitely my to go brunch after class. read more

So. Good. I loves me some spicy fried chicken, and I wasn't feeling a bun, so I had the Nashville Bowl and it was AMAZING. I ordered 'mild' spice, which was just enough kick. I highly recommend this place and I'm looking forward to returning! read more

An absolute disappointment and the worst service. I ordered through grubhub on Yelp and when I arrived they didn't have the order. I understand how that can happen. I confirmed the address with one employee and showed that my bank account was charged. She and the other female manager did nothing to help me. They just said it's not on the monitor. The manager gave the other girl directions from the back and did not come talk to me, acknowledge me, or even seem to care. I told the girl in front of me I would just cancel w my bank and go elsewhere and she just stared at me. What ever happened to the golden rule? read more

Very flavorful and affordable. They almost forgot to give me the drinks I ordered, and after I pointed it out, she apologized, which I appreciated because some restaurants don't think it's important to apologize when getting the customer's order wrong. Eggcelent! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally decided to place an order. My boyfriend and I tried the loco bowl and egg n bird sandwich. Both were delicious and super filling. I'd suggest skipping breakfast and coming here for brunch because this is 2 meals in one. Adding Siracha on my loco bowl definitely gave it the spice I love and needed on it. It is on the pricier side but both were big enough to be shared and definitely will keep you full after. I have to say I'm not too big of a fan of the crack sauce... it has a strong mustard taste so if you like mustard you'd probably like it. We will definitely be going back more often because I want to try other menu items. read more

Finally tried this place after driving past it a zillion times and I'll be coming back any chance I can when I want a chicken sandwich. This place isn't like your typical Chick-fil-A or Popeyes chicken sandwich, ITS DIFFERENT. I went with the hot spice level for the Nashville sandwich, and I'm not really one for coleslaw but I liked theirs; it added more of a sweetness zing making the pairing like a sweet and spicy chicken sandwich. Their sauce they put on it is bomb too! Great both on the sandwich and to dip the fries into. I do recommend eating your sandwich there because the bread got a little soggy within the 5 minutes it took to get the meal home (only because they made it fresh so the heat and moisture softened the bread faster)! Still tasted great. Also want to shout out the amazing staff on duty during our visit. They demonstrated great service- they were very kind, patient and informative and created great food and a great first impression making us feel welcome. The onlyyyyy thing I was bummed about was that they don't have sweet tea; maybe one day it will be added to their drink options! I can't wait to return and try maybe the bowl option next time! read more

Tried for the first time last night and it did not disappoint. Ordered online and when I arrived, I was greeted by super friendly staff. Said my order would be ready in a just a few minutes and offered a free iced coffee while I waited. Not much of a coffee drinker, but tried it and was pleasantly surprised. Overheard they were short staffed, but you would never have know it due to the friendly attitude of the staff. Got a Country Bird Sandwich, Dirty Fries and a Nashville Bowl. Sandwich was moist and flavorful. Bowl was seasoned just right and the slaw was delicious. But the Dirty Fries stole the show! Fries cooked to perfection, spicy chicken, crispy bacon, melty cheese and drizzled with Crack Sauce. BOOM!!! Egg N Bird you have a new regular customer. Keep it up! read more

Ordered the CF Banh Mi sandwich, Nashville Bowl and Bird B Q fries. The sandwich was big and the chicken doesn't disappoint. Their slaw was good not too much Mayo and they have kale in it to make you feel better you're eating healthy. The crack sauce that goes with the regular fries was seasoned well and addicting. Big portion and really filling. Will go back again. I would give it 5 stars however the wait was sort of long if you only have an hour lunch. read more
