The Effort and Time Massage building is located on Crestview's Mainstreet.
The building is cozy and small and still has a lot of projects under construction- such as a future sauna area. You can tell that the area is still up and coming, but don't let that fool you. The quality of service and comfort that they give to you is top notch.
Scott was my masseuse. He's a military veteran and an overall very kind gentleman with great skill.
The first 1 hour massage for new clients is only $35.00 (this is not including tip), and is a full body massage.
At $35.00 for your first massage, it is a fantastic deal and it was every bit worth a $75.00 massage (where $60-$65 is average for an hour) in my personal opinion.
I couldn't believe the quality and skill of this massage. He did a variety of techniques. Swedish, deep tissue on my shoulders, getting to my 'trigger areas', and silicone cupping- which I had never done before but was so amazing! For $35.00!
You can tell the differences in his massages due to technique and pressure- which is how it should be! I could immediately tell when he would go from a Swedish technique to a deep tissue one.
Other than the first massage deal he has a lot of other great deals where you can get a $40 hourly massage.
These prices are AMAZING, and he does this because he believes that everyone should be able to afford a massage!
His massages are worth so much more but his kind heart keeps the prices low. He take a a lot of pride in helping people.
Scott uses both hands consistently, which I appreciated because it assures you that he is putting all of his attention on you.
When you are on his table, he does not take any phone calls, and gen does not check for future schedules on an iPad or anything else of the sort.
He also puts a sign out front that says massage in session.
His attention is 100% on your full body massage.
***and FYI, to those who haven't had it, a full body is where you get 100% naked or at least to your underwear and you lay under a towel. Most of these massages will massage your glutes as well, but if you do not feel comfortable with that, just let Scott know.
Often people prefer women as a masseuse, but having said that- I've had female masseuse and can firmly say I felt more comfortable with Scott as my masseuse.
The facility is clean.
It smells nice.
And it's very private.
It's not as 'serene looking' as other massage facilities because it is still up and coming but Scott more than makes up for that.
Going to their website is the best way to get a massage appointment. I was able to sign up Tuesday night and get a Wednesday morning.
They also have a lot more discounts on specific days, for veterans, and many, many more laid out on their website.
Scott also starts the time for the massage the minute he puts his hands on you, and not a minute before.
He has two hours between appointments to accommodate those who are running a little late and to ensure/maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of each session.
When it comes to this profession, more people need to be like Scott. Take pride in their work, be committed, be kind, and build relationships.
I would recommend anyone I know to his shop. read more
