This is our first experience with Efficient Comfort. After tiring of big companies that were providing us with less-than-stellar service and high prices for basic maintenance, we went hunting for someone new. The reviews on Yelp are true and fair: Efficient Comfort is responsive, transparent and fairly priced. They contacted and scheduled us promptly. Gary came and took care of some issues with our A/C, specifically telling us what his concerns were without trying to "upsell" us - something that was (annoyingly) rampant with other companies. His work was impeccable and efficient - and he is extremely informative as well as kind. We're glad to have found such a solid company to take care of our home systems. read more

They told me that they were going to let me know if they were going to be able to help me with my swamp cooler because it's on top my roof and I guess they don't have ladders that will reach, never communicated back and the excuse was really lame my house is only one story high, at least tell me that you don't want to do it but don't offer to get back to me and never do it. read more

Our A/C went out in mid-August mid 90 degree temperatures. Our A/C service company said they couldn't get out for 6 days. Called Efficient Comfort - Chuck arrived and diagnosed the problem in less than an hour. Fixed the next morning by 9:30. Great office personnel and service technicians. Very reasonable cost. My old 40+ year old furnace was acting up and I found Efficient Comfort on Yelp. I love to support small businesses and they are rated A+ with the BBB so I gave them a call. Tim from Efficient came out on Saturday and let me know that my old furnace had seen it's last day. Needed a new furnace and had one picked and ready to go the following Tuesday. Tim came out once again with his assistant right on time. They took the old furnace out and put a new one in in no time. Both Tim and his assistant were very professional throughout and made the installation very easy and smooth. There was a minor issue a month later but I called Josh the owner and he was able to come out a couple hours later and resolve the issue. I would recommend Efficient Comfort for all HVAC needs. What a surprisingly great experience! Came how to a water heater that was hissing and leaking. Figured I'd be out of hot water for several days. I contacted Efficient Comfort via Yelp and spoke to a very pleasant and helpful JoAnna first thing the next day, and Chuck showed up within the hour. Josh fixed/repaired and replaced up to five parts including valves, cooper connections, boiler connection, expansion tank, and all for a reasonable price. Timely service, timely and error free billing, responsive customer service, and the job is twenty miles away from their shop. No, I am not the owner of Efficient Comfort. The mechanical room looked clean after the service. No used parts or old fittings laying around after the repair and service. Called Efficient Comfort (EC) after seeing their rating on Yelp. I had an emergency with my AC with it blowing only warm air. EC scheduled me for the same day and Chuck came out to the house and was awesome. Checked my AC and noticed that the fan was turning in the wrong direction. I was blown away that he noticed the problem so quickly. He also recommended that I close my vents in the basement so that more air would reach the 1st and 2nd floor. The best experience I've ever had with a repair/service company. Josh initially responded and identified the issue with our furnace. A few days later Gary came to fix our furnace. He spent a significant amount of time making sure it was working properly. At the end of the appointment I casually asked if they'd also be able to help with our fireplace. Gary offered to "peak" at it. He got it working and walked me through how to use it and warning signs to look out for. No charge! Truly thankful to Gary! My air conditioner went out in July so I called several different companies but none of them had appointments available until the following week, which was understandable. Luckily, Efficient Comfort had one available the first thing the following morning between 7 and 8. Josh, the owner, called promptly at 7 a.m. to say he was on his way. He quickly diagnosed the problem as being a worn out capacitor. Fortunately, he had one on his truck and within minutes cool air was streaming thru the system again. Josh couldn't have been nicer or more polite. Upon entering the house to speak with me and my husband he placed protective coverings over his shoes. He sent us an e-receipt which arrived before he had even pulled out of the driveway. I was most impressed with Josh's professionalism, punctuality, and honesty. I never felt like we were being overcharged. The price he quoted us included his $99.00 service call. I am so glad we found Efficient Comfort on Yelp. These guys are great! I have a rental and the tenant had changed the air filter and did not replace the lid correctly so they were out of heat for a couple days, although, we did not know this until the service tech stopped by to trouble shoot. Called and Joanna picked up my call on a Sunday and had a tech out there asap! Much appreciated her kind nature and efficient manner. To add a bonus to our experience they did not charge us for this visit. Now seriously, who does this anymore?!?! It was time for me to get a Heating/AC checkup on our home. After talking with my neighbors I decided to try Efficient Comfort Heating, Cooling and Mechanical. This turned out to be a good choice. I have used many companies in the past (Currently in our fourth house) and was very happy with Efficient Comfort. First they showed up when they said they would which is always good way to start. I received a thorough inspection and cleaning for a very reasonable price including a detailed report for the AC and another for the Heating system. Very quick response! AC died and I had done some basic troubleshooting on my own and was worried it was gonna be bad, dead compressor. The technician did his diagnosis and luckily it was a much cheaper solution and he was done in about 30 minutes and we were back to getting cool. The co-owner answered the phone and boy was she professional and friendly. This company made an awesome effort to get to my home quickly. Chuck showed up and he was simply awesome!! They were very helpful in first walking me through some checks at home before deciding to send a technician out and worked around my schedule to squeeze me in. Our heater broke during a cold snap and Efficient Comfort came right out to fix it. It was easy to get ahold of someone and everyone was friendly and very customer service oriented. The repairman was thorough and explained everything very well. I even asked questions that weren't directly relevant, and he was happy to talk with me as I wanted to learn more about my heating and cooling system.
