Monday it was my Retinal Specialist, Dr. Schwartz, and today it was my eye surgeon, Dr. Belson. When Dr. Schwartz pronounces me STABLE for another 6 months and Dr. Belson says that with even my eye issues stacked against me, I see almost 20/20 corrected, I am one HAPPY old woman!! Unfortunately, you can't ignore vision problems but I am cared for by the best, so I know that if something weird pops up, my eye care team which also includes Dr. Taylor, my optometrist, we can address it. I had hoped to run an errand while surgery was being performed, but can't do that as i am being held hostage. Having had multiple outpatient procedures at multiple different facilities who have not required "imprisonment", I am amazed at the lack of considerat I on for my time. In some of my prior experiences, I even had different people drop me off and pick me up!!!!! In addition, the waiting room temperature is unbearable.
