So much back and forth and stress. I didn't know who was correct. While on vacation in DE, I went to Milton Optical (formerly Sterling). I told her my story, she examined my glasses and said the lenses were made correctly and that my doctor probably checked my lenses electronically which isn't always accurate. Milton Optical didn't charge me anything for checking the lenses. She was so nice. Also noticed they have a nicer selection of frames than the place I normally go to. Everyone should go here.

They went to grab a pair of sunglasses when I immediately told him not to touch them. The salesman then echoed my exact words loudly and sternly from across the store, while he was helping others. I walked out feeling insulted and humiliated. There are a thousand other ways to handle customers with curious toddlers that don't result in losing sales. He literally couldn't have chosen a worse way. There are plenty of shops with the same products. The customer experience makes all the difference and there's no need for anyone to settle.

They have a wall of $10 sunglasses which we stuck to but they also have pricier brand name ones in glass cases. Compared to the other stores nearby, they have a much better selection whether you're grabbing a cheap pair or nice pair.
