Seeing that I was very very anxious and screaming she calmed me down and made sure that everything was done perfectly. I am now two days post root canal and already feel 1000% better. Dr. Gottlieb is a true gem. She has a level of class and professionalism that is unparalleled and ensured a very high quality of work. The reception and dental assistant were both very gentle and sweet, constantly checking on me while I waited. The wait wasn't ridiculous despite there being about 5 families/ groups ahead of me. After about 30 mins I saw the dr who was a young Jewish guy, very caring and warm. He took his time to look at the images. He explained because of how the tooth was growing they'd have to extract it but because of how it would affect my bite, they had to insert an implant at a later date. What I didn't expect was the projected bill of $11,000 despite having insurance. Baby! I would take that tooth out myself from the pain and that cost. I was flabbergasted. Like why? For transparency I am showing the bill. Thank God he prescribed me some pain medication to help me get through the night and the next morning I went right back to my dentist. Even the next day, his staff called several times to check up on me and see how I was doing. Again, 10 stars on the patient care. That price though is a straight hustle.

I was billed $627.00 for x-rays. Patients should be informed that their x-rays are on the high end. My dental insurance only covered $87.00 and I can understand why. The individual responsible for billing is unprofessional in communication, both verbally and through email. My visit to this office is costing $550 with no dental work being performed. The kicker! They have pursued legal action against me for the $275. I did inform my dentist about my unfortunate experience with this office. I was provided me a new referral and had a much better experience. I have waited well over a year to put to words my experience with Dr. Hasday…read more I went to him to have an implant done. The experience went smoothly until a couple of days later when my face started to swell. I went back to Dr. Hasday's office and was given a stronger antibiotic to combat the infection that was beginning. Another couple of days and the swelling didn't go down, in fact, the swelling began to spread. Went back to Dr. Hasday, his exact words were that he "was not worried at all" and to wait for the antibiotics to take affect. Two more days later, I went back to his office for the third time. I was told to go to the hospital immediately as it seemed that the infection was spreading down my neck and up my face. I ended up spending FIVE DAYS in the hospital. And that's not even the worst part of the story! Dr. Hasday, while attentive when the implant failed and while I was in the hospital, soon began to ask for payment! Payment for a failed implant that left his patient in the hospital for FIVE DAYS! I thought that there must be a mistake and he assured me that he had to seek payment from me because it could show fault on his part if he didn't! Ultimately, he did return some of the money that I had already paid. Then it was time to re-attempt the implant. The negotiations were on again! I stupidly paid, again, to have the implant done with his office. SECOND IMPLANT ALSO FAILED! So, thousands of dollars spent, 5 days in the hospital, one terrifying infection, one infection/implant removal surgery and still no implant. I recognize that some of what happened was out of Dr. Hasday's hands. However, how he comported himself during one of the worst times of my life, is all him. This is a doctor that does not care about you. Trust me. By the way, I am still receiving calls from his office for payment.
