My primary dentist referred me to Dr. Baharastani which was a great referral. They took my emergency call that same day and made a emergency appointment for that same afternoon. The office is organized and super clean. They follow all safety and health protocols. I felt at ease during the whole treatment. The bedside manner was great with funny jokes and banter which kept me at ease. The root canal was painless and very thorough. My first root canal failed, and the general dentist who did the initial root canal recommended me to Dr. Baharestani, who was able to pinpoint the problem immediately and give me two viable solutions- extraction or a retreatment. I chose the latter as I wanted to preserve my real tooth for as long as possible, and he was able to do the root canal swiftly in a matter of two visits. I was referred to Dr. Baharestani by my dentist as he said I needed to see a specialist for a root canal. The first visit he took X-rays and the next visit I had two root canals. I hate pain so much. However I must say I did not feel the needle go in to numb or anything after. I appreciate the fact he gave me pain relief to take before the procedure (aleve) so it would be in my system by the time the novocaine wore off. The root canals were finished relatively fast within an hour and hours later still no pain! Approximately three years ago, I was referred to Dr. Baharestani for a root canal. Just as the Covid 19 epidemic hit, that tooth began to hurt. I returned to my dentist once he reopened and he referred me back to Dr. Baharestani. When I arrived for my appointment, I was in pain. One x-ray was taken by his assistant. If I were to say that Dr. Bagarestani spent a total of 5 minutes with me I would be exaggerating. He was defensive saying that I had the root canal a long time ago ( which I wasn't disputing) and said that I had an infection and should have the tooth pulled. I left $145 lighter in my wallet. When I got home I realized that he hadn't prescribed an antibiotic so I called his office. His receptionist checked with the doctor and she told me that because I had no swelling of my gum Dr. Bastarani said that I could wait until I saw my dentist. He had no idea when that would be and didn't seem very concerned that I was in pain. I will never return to this endodontist again. i relayed my experience with my dentist who immediately put me prescribed an antibiotic. Hopefully, he will find another specialist to refer his patients to in the future. read more

I am happy to write a five star review for Michael Baharestani. I was referred by my dentist for a root canal to Michael Baharestani. I live 100 miles away from this office and I have no complaints making this journey for this root canal. I made the appointment over the phone indicating that I am traveling a far distance and didn't want just a consult, but move forward with root canal on the same visit and they agreed. Mr. Baharestani seemed very confident about my procedure and put me at ease with his humor. The staff who took my appointment was very curtesy. When I reached my appointment on time, I walked in and went on to the chair within 5 minutes of filling out all paperwork. The assistant took a total of 3 xrays, before, during, and after the procedure indicating that they are very thorough. The whole procedure took less than an hour but Mr. Baharestani kept me apprised on my status the whole time reassuring me on my progress while doing his thing chatting with his assistant putting my mind on their conversation instead of my root canal. The background music was also very energetic making the environment upbeat. The locations though far for me was very easy to find meter parking and a municipal lot around the corner making it stress free locating a legal space at a very economical rate. The billing was also stress free for me since they accept my insurance and the copay was nearly nothing compare to the horror story I hear from my friends who have no insurance. I've just completed my 2nd root canal(different teeth) in as many months with Dr. Baharestani. While root canal can never be described as a pleasant experience, the doctor and his staff made it as close to pleasant as having teeth drilled can be. His sense of humor and chair side manner made the work feel less intrusive. His banter with his assistant is amusing and you can tell that his employees like their job. Parking was easy thanks to an inexpensive muni-lot across the street. I was in the chair five minutes after I walked through the door, and out of his office within an hour. I cannot believe i forgot to review this amazing doctor. I went to Dr Baharestani in the beginning of the year. I needed a root canal and I was searching for a great doctor and one that wouldnt charge me too much for a root canal. When i called the office the girls that I spoke to were super sweet and caring. I called Dr. Baharestani because he was the top rated endodontist in my area. It was a Jewish holiday that weekend plus Monday but I was able to find a dentist who would see me emergently on Sunday who told me I needed a root canal. Immediately I went to Yelp to find some good reviews for top endodontist near me. I called Dr. Baharestani and he immediately offered to come into the office on Monday just to treat me since I was a pregnant lady in a lot of pain. I didn't know what to expect because I was deathly afraid of needles and the thought of root canals didn't sit well with me. I was a nervous wreck. Dr. Baharestani has one of the most pleasant bedside manners and seem to genuinely care about his patient. He somehow managed to calm my nerves before, during, and after treatment. He is very experienced and professional. My root canal was one of the more difficult ones due to an extra nerve but he was so great at explaining things to me and following up with my recovery. I had my first root canal done this afternoon and it couldn't have been a better experience. I found Dr. Baharestani online after dealing with a serious tooth ache for over a month and chose him solely off of his reviews, and I'm happy I did. He assured me I'd be able to return to work directly after and he was right. I have yet to feel any discomfort since before the root canal was performed and it's truly been such a relief, it's really kind of amazing actually. Staff and doctor were friendly. However I got a root canal that was not successful and done incorrectly by dr michael baharestani. :( Shortly after the root canal about 2 months later, I got an abscess and had to have the tooth removed due to the tooth not being thoroughly cleaned out. The doctor's explanation was that sometimes that happens and the root canal is unsuccessful. He said it was my fault that I did not follow up with him even though he said everything went well and there was no need for a follow up unless there was pain. Obviously there was no pain since the nerves were removed. He did not own up to his lack of thoroughly cleaning and performing the root canal correctly. Once he personally swiped my credit card and collected my money, he was happy. After following up with him about the abscess, he said there's nothing he could do and referred me elsewhere for the tooth extraction. When I reached out for some reimbursement, he never returned my phone calls. Please beware. read more
