You NEED to have your root canal taken care of here! Anywhere else and you are just chancing it! This guy is aaaaammmaazzzzzing!!!!! Admitedly everyone is going to have their own personal thresholds of fear/pain etc. But after trying to cross reference my mother's insurance list of endodontists with their reviews on yelp. I came across Dr. Rybak. My 67 year old mom could not stop raving (-who am I kidding? she's still raving about his care!!! [she saw him on 4/1/16 & 4/9/16]) about how professional he was and the fact she experienced NO PAIN! She said that after the visit and the follow up she could see how some doctors could make mistakes but that did not happen here. Folks lets face it if you have to get a root canal you are already in a scary unchartered place. This guy is a real person, who listens and has a heart. Don't screw up and don't screw yourself over. Dr. Ryback has treated 3 of my teeth during this crazy year, and I honestly don't know what I would have done without him. I had three root canals, and since we were in a lockdown and I had never had a root canal before, I did not know what was happening- I just knew I was in tremendous pain, had constant headaches, my ears hurt, couldn't sleep, etc. He saved me. He was very clean and very safe, so no need to fear during these scary times. Once you meet Dr. Ryback, you will love and trust him. When it comes to my teeth that may have some connections with nerves connected to my face, I take no chances. This doctor knows what he's doing--seasoned and professional. Although I was fearful, the trust in his expertise allowed me to go through with a very complicated root canal. He knew what to do, took no shortcuts, and did an excellent job! You can tell when someone knows their trade--this doctor gets to doing his job---and he takes it seriously. You know once he is working on you that the root canal has no chance against him. I want to first start off by stating Dr. Peter Rybak is truly amazing!!! I like anyone else is seriously afraid of dentist I had some horrible experiences in the past so by that being said I had my guard up. The front desk assistant was really sweet I had my daughter with me so she turned to Disney channel offered her snacks, now back to Dr. Rybak I was surprised by how young he was he explained the procedure to me (root canal) while I was in his chair he was very comforting always asking if I was ok. Dr. Rybak is a wonderful dentist, and I could not have felt more at ease or trusted him more. He really knows what he's doing, and goes above and beyond for his patients. Even after my treatment with him was done, he told me I could send him X-rays after my treatment elsewhere to make sure everything was okay, and when I needed dental advice post-treatment he asked one of his colleagues for a second opinion. This really shows his diligence and how much he cares for his patients, which I really appreciated after having some bad dental work done in the past. I was nervous to be doing a root canal but he made everything very clear and thoroughly explained everything, and was sensitive to my needs. His office is also nice and clean and uses modern technology, and the gentleman at the front desk (Fabian) is cordial and always gets back to you quickly. While I probably wouldn't wish the need to have a root canal on even my worst enemy, if you require one, I would highly recommend Dr. Rybak. Dr. Rybak is an exceptional Endodontist whose office I walked into simply a mess. Not only was his staff (office manager, Grace & assistant, Fabian) reassuring but Dr. Rybak himself was truly calming. I was made incredibly comfortable and the procedure itself was unbelievably painless. I wouldn't believe it had I not experienced it myself. I mean the overall ordeal I had with the tooth is another story but once I found Dr. Rybak, what could have probably been a torturous ordeal was minimized beyond belief. The office was nice, small and clean; definitely modern with up-to-date equipment. A television is playing while you're in the chair, which was nice for me - a bit of a distraction from the sounds of the dental tools being used. After the root canal was completed, I had to see a dentist for a filling on the tooth and even that dentist asked where I had the root canal done at because "he did an excellent job." This office came highly recommended by my dentist. I felt comfortable because my dentist recommended Dr. Rybak. I set up my appointment for my root canal which was a breeze but suddenly became a disaster! My issue came when I sat in the office waiting for the doctor. The secretary suddenly told me I had to sign " something" but didn't explain what it was. I began reading it and it mentioned that I needed to pay $510.00 for my root canal. I was confused because I checked with my insurance company weeks ago and they assured me that my root canal would be covered. Also, why did they wait to tell me this when I'm here in the office? I would think something like this should be mentioned in advance. I asked the secretary: " What is this fee for?" He said it covers the procedure. I told him "no my insurance covers this." Then he changes his story and says: "It's for the medication they use to inject me before the procedure". I'm thinking that makes no sense and again my insurance covers it. He changes the reason again to " They're taking something out and thats why we have to charge you." This made no sense to me so I left. I called my insurance company the next day and they assured me again that I'm covered. Not sure why they're trying to get extra money out of me. I know for a fact I'm not paying one cent when my insurance will take care of it. Goodbye! I will go somewhere else. read more

I saw Dr. Rybak for my first root canal and it was pain free. Outside of the small needle prick from the numbing part, I didn't feel a thing. Great doc. Would definitely recommend him! read more
