Here is what I have learned.... when I am unsure of an item like upholstered furniture I send them a picture and they tell me yes or no. Now let me tell you a story, I had a client that had some very "expensive" art work according to the appraisal . Most of the art sold at Weshler's for about 20% of the appraisal others went for twice the appraisal. The client was disappointed at some of the prices but was blown away at one piece of art that sold for $66,000.00 and was only appraised at 20k. Another house I found some wonderful Danish mid century modern furniture and looked it up on line and I saw the same set listed on a few other sites for a 1k+, I took it in to the auction house and Mark told me that this was a less well know manufacturer and it would sell for around $200.00, it sold for $300.00. Today we arrived the power was turned off the working door. A man was trying to manually open the door with trouble. During the day of move in, the facility staff practiced MD retail covid-19 practices and I was provided a contract, then it was all explained to me. I signed the contract and started moving in. The facility has 24 hour surveillance, keypad and gate at entry and exit, lighting and climate control at the storage unit, and Space to unload and pickup. There's also ample moving supplies for purchase. I'm completely satisfied with my decision to work with Storage Mart!

My overall experience with this company is that they are not customer-focused and can be unprofessional as well as condone inappropriate behavior by employees. Moreover, their refund policy is outdated and outright illegal. By not offering refunds for items, not picked-up they are violating people's rights. There is nowhere in the world where customers have to pay for items not received. In addition, giving only 2 days to request a refund is ludicrous especially considering most laws offer a 30, 60, or even 90 day refund policy. I have also been harassed, targeted, and discriminated against, and treated unfairly by this company and a few of its employees. The concept of this company may work well for sellers since the buyers literally have to work for what they pay for...but their delivery and customer service is entirely flawed.
