We called to multiple companies to give us an estimate and we are so happy to find this company . David helped us with the design for the new kitchen. They gave me the best offer, not lowest at price but best in terms of quality. The working crew were true professionals, hard workers, nice and communicative. Thank you Edri Construction ! It was the right choice. read more

I need to put a spotlight on the amazing customer service I experienced with this company! I recently purchased an older apartment in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood. I knew that I needed to update the plumbing and electric. After reaching out to Edri Construction I explained my situation and they were so hospitable and easy to work with. They listened to my needs and did outstanding work on my new home. Not only were the people great, but my newly renovated spaces turned out higher than my expectations. read more

I contacted this company and I got a fast response. After providing my number I was sent a text by the assistant. I scheduled for a 1 PM consultation. At 1:30 I followed up to confirm if the client tractor was still going to come. No response. I went to run errands. My husband and son stayed at home. My husband told me that at 3 PM the contractor showed up. This is terrible customer service. The communication is bad. Who was I talking to and why is no one communicating with each other about the schedules? This is irritating because I actually want to fix my home up. read more

Recently completed a kitchen and bathroom remodel with David and his highly-capable team. The whole process was very enjoyable and we are really happy with the end outcome. They were very professional and accommodating to our every request, took time explaining our options and price considerations, and finished in a timely manner. Their expertise really showed when they pointed out things we didn't notice or didn't think of. We were confident to go with many of their recommendations because we trust their experiences and knowledge in years of remodeling homes. The whole building permit and code approval process was also smooth for us thanks to their dedicated team working with city officials. We would be happy to use David and his team again, and would recommend them to others looking to remodel their homes! read more

1000% recommend Edri construction and Isaac! I contacted Edri construction to help remodel my apartment - bathroom remodel, new wall paint, new floorboards, recessed lighting, etc. This was all communicated over text/Whatsapp as I was currently living out of town. Really appreciated working with Isaac on this! He's super friendly, responsive, and someone you definitely want to work with. The team also sent many pictures so I could see the progress. After I finally saw the results in person, there were some areas I wanted to change/refine. Isaac and his team got to it right away - they really want to make sure you're satisfied with the project to the very end. For any other potential out of town ppl looking to remodel virtually, I would just say that it's pivotal you know exactly what you want and to communicate that immediately to the team. If you have questions or need any tips on my experience feel free to message me! read more

My wife and I renovated our house with Edri Construction. Idan and Avi were super professional, always available, and moved quickly when things needed attention. The team showed their excitement all through the project and it felt like they were excited just like us - the home owners. If and when we will have a new renovation project, Idan and Avi will be the first to hear about it - I would love to work with them again. read more

They canceled the appointment twice. On the 3rd day, he came without greetings nor mentioning he's with Edri Construction. When I told him that I need to replace storage to bigger size and he says I need to hire an engineer who has a plan. He gives ridiculous reasons. read more

Edri Construction completed our front yard renovations. What was once unusable land is now an amazing yard. Avi and his team were very great to work with. I have a place in San Francisco that urgently needed a kitchen renovation and some other minor things to do around the house. After seeing Edris website and reviews, I decided to give them a call. From the day that Sam arrived to see the job, he immediately understood what needed to be done and gave me professional advice on the best way to do it. I met with a few other companies after that meeting, but I felt most confident with the professionalism of Edri Construction, so I decided to sign with them. Sam, my project manager, was very attentive and took excellent care of my home, kept a good line of communication, and made sure things came out the way we planned. I am delighted and pleased with their work. Thank you Sam and thank you team Edri! read more

Edri Construction - General Contractors Near Me - San Francisco, California

I'm grateful for a beautiful transformation of my formerly awkward 2 bed/1 bath Edwardian condo into a fully functional 2 bed/2 bath plus office. After interviewing several companies, I chose Edri Construction because Idan was open minded, thoughtful, had good ideas and customer service for the vision I had for my first renovation project. They often saying chosing a contractor is like being in a marriage, because there will be unanticipated discoveries and the need to clearly communicate and to have patience. Edri delivered what they said they would deliver, and largely in the timeframe that I had expected. We moved all the plumbing around, added a subpanel for a new larger kitchen, replaced the ducts and added a new furnace, created two new bathrooms. I appreciate both my project manager (Idan) and the owner (Avi) for working with me through project issues, and helping me make design and investment decisions. I look forward to seeing your company continue to succeed. read more

We hired Edri Construction for the remodel of our bathrooms and are very happy that it was completed a week ahead of schedule. Avi and Idan had some good ideas on how to improve the layout of the bathrooms and the crew they hired had solid workmanship. read more

I engaged Edri Construction to concrete in a large portion of our yard which included demolishing existing structures and relocating pool equipment as well as irrigation lines. Additionally, EDRI concreted a lengthy path down a hill in our backyard so we could access a trail. We had the pleasure of engaging with Avi, the owner, who demonstrated a consultative approach to our project which I absolutely loved! Some contractors will just do what a customer tells them to (even if it doesn't make sense or there is a better solution!). After challenging us to more clearly articulate our needs and vision Avi offered pragmatic suggestions and novel ideas for us to consider. I appreciated his expertise and our project outcomes would not have been nearly as good without him. Once we decided to move forward with Edri Construction, staff immediately descended upon our home and continuously worked until the project was complete. The staff were friendly, respectful and diligent in their work. Our work site was kept tidy and clean. I believe that with construction you get what you pay for. While Edri was certainly not the lowest cost provider, their professionalism, reliability and quality of work is where they bring exceptional value to the table. Our phone calls/messages to them were always promptly responded and action initiated, when necessary. We are so happy with the work that Edri has done we are considering Edri for future projects. I feel like we have found THE contractor for us. I would not hesitate to recommend Edri Construction to my family and friends. Thank you Avi and the entire Edri Construction team! read more

We are still figuring out our project, and have just met once with Edri (Idan and Avi) and were immediately impressed with them. Great communication, very professional. We hired Edri to renovate a condo for sale. Their work was to the highest standard. The craftsmanship was excellent. The job was finished much sooner than I was expecting. Our Project Manager, Isaac, kept us up to date on the progress and was very responsive to both our minor changes and the final punch list. I would highly recommend Edri and Isaac to anyone needing construction work. read more

Edri Construction did an amazing job for us this past spring. We purchased a spec home from a local builder and needed to make several upgrades/improvements. We met with Avi who did a great job bidding exactly what we were looking for. We tore out and replaced walls with beautiful stair rails, replaced a backsplash in the kitchen and opened up two rooms into one large room for our daughter; all precisely met our contemporary vision. We would hire Edri Construction again to do just about any home improvement !!! read more

We were introduced to Edri Construction, specifically Eitay, through a mutual friend and couldn't be happier that we chose to work with them. We did a full kitchen remodel and ended up replacing flooring in the entire house. They held our hands through the entire process from layout and design, (which we changed a couple times before making a final decision), choosing appliances, materials, etc. and kept us within our budget. They were very professional, open with communication, responsive and respectful of our home and space. We lived in our home during construction with two dogs and a cat, by the time our project was complete, I think our dogs looked forward to seeing Eitay and Edgar more than us. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our new kitchen and floor. read more

Our deck project evolved from a simple repair to a complete rebuild after we discovered that all the wood was rotten and had to go. Thank goodness we had EDRI Construction on our team to help us get through the entire process from demo to completion. Throughout the deck rebuild journey EDRI were just fantastic. They were proactive, solutions oriented, creative, detail oriented, dependable, conscientious and just great folks to do business with. We would hire them again without hesitation and can confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable contractor. Also, and very importantly, the new deck is gorgeous and we're so proud of how it looks and how it functions, they even blind-screwed the decking so there are no visible screws. read more

We absolutely love our new home! My husband's first words when he walked in the kitchen were "it's better than what I dreamed". The Edri construction team helped us with a remodel of our entire home. We did a garage conversion to add a parental suite, bathroom, and laundry on our first floor; and we removed the wall between our living and dining rooms to create an open concept. We also updated the kitchen and bathroom upstairs, as well as, the flooring and electrical. Idan put us in contact with an architect, Caroline, who helped us render the floor plans and submit permits for approval - this process was very fast (2-3 weeks). The original project estimate for timing was 5 months, which was at least 2-3 months faster than other contractors we considered. The project took 1 month longer than the original estimate, which was a little stressful in the end; and in retrospect, I think we should have added some padding to the timeline to be safe (we've heard from friends recently that their remodels took at least 2 months longer than expected). While Edri had the highest pricing we received compared to the other bids, there were no surprise fees or extra costs that were not given in the original bid, which from what I heard is a rare thing and was great for planning financially. Furthermore, the other companies said some things that were questionable in our initial meetings (eg how to cut corners, etc) that were concerning to us. Edri construction said they stood by their name for quality and wanted to deliver us the house of our dreams. This has proved to be true and we are very happy to have trusted them. During construction, there were never any disputes, if there was a mistake on our end or theirs, they would help us resolve the issue to make our dream house (and if the mistake was theirs, they took ownership and would cover the cost to replace). We moved in before all final touches could be completed and items ordered, so they will still come back to help us install our closet doors, some lights and final touches, but we trust them completely. Something I really appreciated is Avi would bring issues to our attention that needed to be addressed, that were beyond the scope of the project (eg, reseal the cement at the edge of our patio to prevent water damage) - this gave me the sense that he really cared about our home. When we had the recent torrential rains, some water got inside our house - the team rushed over to help us prevent water damage to our floors and helped us resolve the drainage problem. I am very happy to refer them and would be happy to answer any specific questions others may have in making their decision; I know this is a stressful and difficult decision. We learned many things as this was our first renovations - for starters, order your cabinets and any patio doors as soon as possible (they have the longest lead times). read more

Hand's down a wonderful company to work with. David, our project manager, is amazing. We just purchased a new house and needed some remodeling done. Right from the start of the process, David provided us information, support, and was never pushy. Unfortunately, we couldn't execute our dreams with Edri Construction due to some personal matters, but the level of service that was provided during the initial stages makes me an ongoing advocate for this business! read more

I called for an estimate to repair my deck, replace my floors, put in wainscoting, and rehang two interior doors. Avi came by for a consultation later that week I received an estimate with a reasonable price. The project was completed less than a month, honestly the time flew by pretty fast. Edri Company was really responsive, I felt like I was included/informed every step of the project. The outcome was beautiful. Highly recommend!!! read more

We hired Edri Construction to help us with the difficult problem of remodeling our SF flat while living in Southern California. We interviewed several contractors and selected Avi and his team. As we were not on site, we needed a lot of customer service and good communication to help us complete the project. We appreciated the use of WhatsApp to facilitate communication and provide us pictures throughout the build. Avi provided great advice and came up with good solutions to solve problems as they arose. They picked up all the fixtures we ordered from various retail stores when needed. And when things went wrong, as they will do with any construction project, they were quick to fix it at their own expense. We recently moved in and the place looks great. If you are looking for a contractor with great customer service who will stand by his work, we recommend Avi and Edri Construction. read more

I worked with Edri Construction to remodel two full baths as well as customize storage in my garage. Both their 3D-designer Alex and project manager David were great...easy to work with and professional throughout the process.  Alex's designs were spot on and the end results were even better than we had imagined.  Because we were living out of town through the project, David did a good job of keeping us updated on the progress and on any issues that arose.  From start to finish the project took a little longer than we would have liked but that was due to Covid restrictions and the cities response rate. However overall I would highly recommend Edri Construction- streamlined, organized and professional process with beautiful results! read more

Had the best experience working with Edri Construction. Their representative gave us a call right away and scheduled our meeting with Nick, who was super-knowledgable and came with recommendations and photos. After we signed the contract, Nick pulled my permit and started my project within the next two weeks, made a group chat on WhatsApp the office kept me updated throughout the project. I couldn't be more than happy with the results. I'm in love!!! Thank you, guys!! read more

Hired them to do a total demo and renovation. It was mostly my design, and it used a lot of high end materials, including custom lighting. Building had concrete structure and many HoA restrictions and we worked around all of it. I certainly learned a lot, but the process probably could have been easier with a designer or architect to manage things. In the end, I felt like the project exceeded the original vision, and it's a joy to see it come together so well. Given the current environment, there were of course some hiccups, but the contractor was always committed to making it right, and the payment structure was incremental, which is a good sign in my book. My recommendation is to communicate proactively and often. If you think you have any work that's special or non-standard, do your research and provide clear instructions so you can get a proper quote. I'm happy with the amount I paid given the quality of work. I'm very picky and detail oriented and felt like in the end, they nailed every single point. read more
