This normally involves everything that is checked during a state safety inspection, but with additional checks on the functionality of the vehicle and its systems (electrical, cosmetics, etc). I requested an engine compression test, and was told it would involve more time, which was fine. What I received: 10 photos of the undercarriage and two lines about the seller being old and needing to sell. No start. No compression test. No other photos. No evidence anything else had been examined. Chris was polite and apologetic, and he did adjust the invoice, but I was left with no clear idea about the vehicle, despite paying for exactly that service.

Took it out storage in Mid April, she drove it for 2 weeks, she said it was driving different. Took it to a mechanic to find that the frame was rusted and rotted. I contacted the owner of BJ's to have him make it right. Since Billy inspected it he had to known that the frame was rusty/rotted. He said it can be welded. I was wish it was that easy. The frame was to rotted to even weld. He wouldn't make it right with us. I understand it's only a 60 day warranty. However our daughter didn't even have 60 days of driving on it. We had to purchase a new frame for it. We weren't asking for a refund of the Jeep just the cost of the frame to be replaced. He refused. NOT A GOOD BUSINESS MAN I WOULD NOT REFER HIM TO ANYONE.

The van then would not start. Towed to a local shop and also noted the check engine light was not lit even though 2 codes were reading. I had to pay to have them look into the cluster, found -no Check Engine Light installed-. Repair would be more than I paid for the car. NYS inspection was done by the seller himself, so the bulb was missing and the car was still passed, or that the bulb was removed. This could have been avoided (I have access to a code reader) if the Light had been there. It put me and my family's safety at risk. Last conversation with the seller he stated he wished I had brought the car back to him instead of going to another shop for an opinion. Advised that I get a lawyer if I wanted to continue speaking with him about the issue.
