I'll start off by saying Korean Coffee isn't exactly my favorite. I much prefer Vietnamese or Malaysian style coffee. But I did try this chain in Korea and was very excited when they finally opened up a store here. My friend went last week on opening week and said it was packed since they were giving out freebies. The cafe is located inside a newly opened Galleria Supermarket. They had a bunch of seating at the food court inside the supermarket. I ordered their Zero Sugar Mixed Coffee and let's just say.. this was the sweetest zero sugar drink I've ever had lol. It was just way too sweet. It completely overpowered the coffee flavor. I honestly thought they might've made a mistake with my drink and added a few extra pumps haha. I would definitely ask for half syrup next time. I also really wanted to try their Honey Hotteok but unfortunately it was sold out. I am quite surprised to see that they kept their prices pretty affordable. Honestly I never expected exceptional coffee but for the price, I would definitely come back again if I am around the area. I want to try their Peached Ice Tea with Mango. it looked very interesting with huge mango chunks. I also want to try some of their other desserts like their Dalgona Waffle. Also ignore the Google reviews. The negative reviews are just a bunch of entitled people that decided to go on opening week and is complaining about having to wait. It is so ridiculous. It is not the best coffee but it is not trying to be. Go with a reasonable level of expectation and you won't be disappointed.

Ediya is finally open in Toronto! How I missed this Korean chain cafe for its reasonable prices and ah-shot-chu (shot of espresso added to peach iced tea). This is a takeout-only location with a neat display case with clearly shown bakery items and prices. Minimal decor, and everything is new and shiny. Prices are so reasonable for coffee and snacks in Toronto nowadays. What I love about this chain is its zero-calorie sweetener drinks, like coffee and iced tea. Watch out for caffeine though, iced tea + espresso can be quite powerful. I tried their iced americano and the buldak cheese sandwich. Americano is americano, no comments here. The sandwich was actually quite spicy, which I loved. Not too filled, but alright for $7. Cheesiness was quite lacking though, so I added a slice of cheese at home. I visited the first day they officially opened (soft opening for two days before that, I think) and the line moved steadily. Not too slow, but also not fast, just alright. They opened slightly past 9am, so some customers who had been waiting for the opening got a little annoyed.

After trying my vanilla iced latte and my partner's macchiato... I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.

I've passed this spot so much, but managed to take some time during a day off to stop in. They have a display of records that are available for purchase as well. The atmosphere was very laid back and pleasant to spend some time in your day to work or relax. I had a matcha latte with almond milk this time and I was pleasantly surprised, a perfect level of sweetness, and not to mention the foam! I had no idea this was possible with almond milk! I'll definitely be back to try their coffee and a bite.

Came here on Wednesday during their 50% off persian food so the review is based on that…read more We ordered the Chelo Gusht and Lamb Shank. Both the lamb was VERY tender, and I did not have to cut the meat at all as they just fell off. They both came with this onion/garlic-based gravy that went VERY well with the meat. The rice was also flavored, and the combination of all of the food was great. I would love to try their all you can eat, but I wonder if they would all taste pretty similar as the above two dishes were very similar in taste and just different cuts of lamb (nonetheless delicious, especially for the price). I would also like to add that the service was fine, but they can check in with how the food is, offer water, and ask if our coffee be served at the beginning as they seemed to think that we would want it after our meal (based on their response when we asked for coffee again when they served our food). They're probably new to working as a wait staff, but I also shouldn't have to ask multiple times to get their attention as the staff seemed to be watching videos on their phone when I was trying to ask them a question when I was by the counter. I would come back, but I think their service can use a little work.
