I finally decided my health was too important to put up with doctors that have no business practicing medicine. Dr. Pineda is the only physician that's given me personal attention, asked questions, listened to my responses, explained my health, and recommended changes to achieve optimal health. She's an endocrinologist as well as a board-certified internist (contrary to another review), so she does order blood tests other doctors never recommended to me. As a result, she identified issues that were never identified by my previous doctors. Occasionally, I've waited a little longer than I would've liked but all doctors get behind sometimes and she never rushes you out of her office half-listening to your concerns like some experiences I've had. She's also responsive via email.

My…read morespouse has had appointments canceled on her unilaterally by this office and then offered new appointments months later. So when she needed her prescriptions renewed, they said she needed an appointment in person -- no video appointment -- before she could get her meds. The only way to get the prescriptions was if she paid $15 per prescription. Kafka couldn't have come up with a better scheme. Be very wary if this doctor. Avoid if you possibly can and only if you have no other choice. A friend asked for her annual physical from her and Dr Pineda refused we think because it doesn't reimburse enough from insurance.

Dr. Musher may not be the friendliest but he is thorough. He went through my blood work with me…read moreand made recommendations based on what he saw. He's into the holistic medicine thing which is nice.. too expensive for my budget.. but it's good to see a doctor who realizes the importance of good health from more than just a drug standpoint. After the study that came out last year explaining the benefits of Vitamin D he will most likely make you take some of that (since 99% of people are deficient). I don't know what the health effects (including negative) are but I've been trying to take it when I remember and get more sun. The parking garage is expensive. On 6/7/19 I paid $185.00 for an office visit because, although Dr. Musher is a network provider with United Healthcare, he wanted to take enough payment in case I had not met my deductible. On 8/17/19 my wife (under whose name his office staff had mistakenly filed the insurance claim) called and spoke with the office staff about an EOB showing that I was responsible for only $51.23 and that Dr. Musher owed me a refund of $133.77. UnitedHealthcare had informed me that Dr. Musher was paid electronically on 6/26/19 and was in breach of his network-provider contract by failing to refund me within 30 days. The office staff promised a refund within the week. When a refund that did not arrive as promised, my wife called on 9/5/19 and spoke to Dr. Musher himself. Dr. Musher solicited my wife's agreement that I subscribe to his concierge service. Pressuring her, he told her I had health issues for which he had advised follow-up care. His disclosing my private medical information without my authorization violated HIPAA law. Moreover, this high-pressure marketing of a concierge service in an attempt to credit the $133.77 to concierge subscription fees instead of issuing me a refund check was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unfair and deceptive in violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act. I received my refund, but only after two telephone requests, one-and-a-half months from the time of the first request, and two-and-a-half months from the time that my health insurance paid Dr. Musher. In sum, Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices relating to billing and to inappropriate and unprofessional solicitation for his concierge service, as well as unauthorized disclosure of private medical information. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone.

Looking back, our family watched the medication negatively impact her quality of life, and it was heartbreaking to witness. I understand migraines are extremely difficult to treat, and patients deserve compassion and relief. However, I believe there should have been greater caution, monitoring, and discussion about the risks associated with prolonged use of an opioid nasal spray known to carry dependency concerns. I hope this practice takes concerns about medication dependence seriously and prioritizes safer long-term treatment approaches for vulnerable patients.

When I entered - I was greeted half heartedly and when I couldn't remember who I was seeing (new patient) - no one was willing to help me. There were 4 people at the front desk. 2. I have now called the office 6-7 times over a 2 1/2 week period to get my blood results. No one has picked up or responded to my (very clear) voicemails. I was told it would be a week to get - I have now waited a month - and even checked my spam, etc. 3. The office, in general, was not great - which when you have a good doctor - doesn't matter to me. However, with everything else - it now just adds another layer of disappointment.
