I came in around 7:25 PM, just before their 8 PM closing time, fully expecting to be rushed through. Instead, this turned out to be one of the most efficient, friendly, customer-centered urgent cares I've ever been to. From check-in to seeing the doctor to getting my prescription filled and checking out, the entire visit took less than 30 minutes -- and every step of it was handled with a smile. I never once felt rushed, even though they were close to closing. I had also called ahead beforehand, and the receptionist was courteous and made sure I knew exactly what to bring and expect, so there were zero surprises when I arrived. The facility itself was spotless and smelled great too. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and genuinely pleasant. I went to this Urgent Care 3-19-26 at 7:08pmthey close @ 8:00pm!! exactly. The set up is very nice inside TVs , comfortable seating and space. Its layout is like a Maze ! but it's pretty cool and in the back straight ahead it's almost like a factory lab which is awesome!. There no layout like it!!.. I Received Excellent Thorough to the Max care despite the time and its closing!!...The Receptionist Brookelyn make sure to pronounce that E ! lol was helpful, welcoming and so nice esp guiding me where I needed to go but same time letting me find my way with my cane and broke down how things work as it was my 1st time since they've been open a year and a few months!!...Nirse James was cool ! He did EkG/Xrays so smooth and bedside manner was nice to have wasn't stuck up , conversation here and there a lil laughter .Dr Keena Dillard!! Was a true Gem!! she was patient, she was kind and very knowledgeable , she broke things down so I could comprehend, she answered ANY thoughts asked what were my thoughts! , like the care she gave can't amount to any added words just remarkable in her personality and Profession!.. Megan!! Was so nice and understanding she gave me all the Steroids!! Ughhh hate them!! ;(... crazy I went in there for One thing! (Thankfully it all was normal No stroke signs just muscle pains)! Whew!!..Megan was nice , helpful she brought the old skool breathing machine!(didn't think my asthma was even flaring!!) , she came to check on me , the EKG nurse was alright!..Overall I'd definitely make this My Urgent Care and it's better towards the after 5 because they get VERY swamped!! I came here for wrist pain. The receptionist, medical assistant , Xray tech and PA were all wonderful! I even got a warm blanket while I waited from a very pleasant Dr! iIt was about 2 hr total time here but pleasant overall! I posted too soon. Removed a star because the check-out person was rude for no reason...smh read more

I accompany my 90 yr old neighbor today 7/9/2025 to Patient First for a follow up she spent 4 hours yesterday 2/8/2025 left because of the 4 hour long wait. She was experiencing shortness of breath (asthma) and was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia. Today they were suppose to check her lungs to see how she was coming along with the medication they prescribed 7/8/2025. We have been back n forth to check in & check vitals which has now been 45 mins. We're back in the waiting room because they're no rooms available. I find it very unacceptable that this wait time for someone experiencing shortness of breath at 90 years old would have to suffer like this. If you are looking for urgency care this facility is definitely not it. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would! Check in was seamless....according to my number i had 2 people ahead of me when i checked in to see my 2 yr old. Signed some papers and sat down in the waiting room. No more than 2 mins later, the person escorted us back to check temps, weight, etc. took my daughter and I back to the room and LITERALLY an hour later we still had NOT seen a doctor!!!! These people act slow when you ask them how much longer and tell me she needs to check to see how many people are ahead of me? I TOLD HER 2...probably 1 since i been here for an hour! It shouldnt be any to be honest!!!! They're slow and inefficient. Patient First needs to try again...fire and hire again because this location is not it!!! We had to pay $120 cash for my son to be seen at the Capital Heights Patient First. We have open access United Health Care insurance and the rep took the card but that did not matter. I did not have a credit card to present. Nor did I relish the thought of automatic payment when there have been countless data breaches. Patients entering the facility, in good faith, should not be subjected to ransom payments for health care! This was outrageous and beyond shameful. The intake rep did not Attempt to work with me in any way. I will be sharing my experience to warn unsuspecting patients. Clear signs at locations and notice on the website need to be put up and in BOLD so patients can make informed decision. read more
