And we are so blessed to have found her, she is an amazing doctor she takes her time, answers all questions and makes us feel welcome every time we have an appointment. I also love the way the office is set up and it is so convenient that she is the only doctor that works in the building so the wait time for being seen is very quick. And it makes the experience much more personal and not rushed. Not to mention the amazing office staff who always greet us with such kindness. Best decision ever. We now have two kids in Dr. Ariza's care and have been with them for 2 years. The office is more of a boutique than a sad or scary doctor's office. Decorated perfect for kids and very inviting. We have never had to wait long and both the ladies at the front desk and the Nurse Kadera (so sorry if I misspelled her name!) are great. Kadera is friendly, gentle and was able to draw blood from my 2 year old with no issues! She's seriously the best. She calls the kids friends and that in itself is such a gift. Dr Ariza is literally an angel. Very supportive of me as a mom and my kids adore her - enough that we play "Dr Ariza" every day. EVERY.DAY. She is a dream come true pediatrician and we feel so lucky to have her. She's brilliant, kind, helpful and supportive. And obsessed with her cool shoes. We have had to utilize the after hour calls a few times and she personally immediately calls back. If you have kids look no further - this is the best office in DC.

The office is well-organized, the staff is consistently friendly, and the environment is clean and welcoming. We really appreciate the separation of well and sick visit areas -- it's a thoughtful touch that gives extra peace of mind. Everyone we've encountered has been so kind to our 1.5-year-old, which helps him feel completely at ease during visits. They genuinely interact with the kids and make the experience positive from start to finish. I recently had to call on a weekend and was connected with a nurse who was incredibly helpful and thorough in answering my questions. That kind of care really stands out. We see Dr. Diane Landram, and she is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to listen, offers helpful and up-to-date information, and never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. This is exactly what pediatric care should look like -- highly recommend!

They are snippy, impatient, and rude. While we like our doctor, who continues to practice there, we often have to deal with the nursing staff on the phone for tele-health type questions about illness and having school forms completed. In the past the nurses have been so kind and helpful but lately it has been an unpleasant experience all around. During the past few encounters I've found the nurses to be quite demeaning, impatient, and condescending. While we have had a positive experience with the doctor, we are looking to switch to another practice due to the poor quality of the nursing staff.

I ended up being twelve minutes late because i had both kids and couldn't get the baby out of a tight spot so had to switch parking spaces. The front desk made me wait almost thirty minutes to tell me that I was being denied a visit because i was late. When I called to complain the management basically stood behind that and said we reserve the right to deny even if you are one minute late. But no problem having you the parent wait. Cool cool. Ive never seen the same provider twice there very much a factory. We are at children's medical associates so far so good. I am willing to make the drive. Also considered going back to our DC pediatrician west end peds which is pretty good. The admin/medical records side of this practice also terrible. Playing phone tag with them to pay them to send the medical records. The cost varies by the number of pages of the record. Cool cool cool. I made the right decision switching!!!

Our situation required a follow up the day after. Although she wasn't working the next day, she made sure another physician took a look at my daughter so that the following day they'd have a baseline to assess progress. She also went out of her way to call us and follow up a few days later just to make sure things were moving in the right direction. I highly recommend Karen and trust her with our care. She was a perfect example of the type of care and attention to detail you want from your medical provider.

My 4 year old, on the other hand, loved how Dr. Lamson installed a video game system in the waiting lobby and he also enjoyed the decorations that were put up in the patient room. She attends to our son well and makes time to answer all of the questions we had. I know vaccinations are good but it always makes me sad knowing our son would cry, and every time she would assure us that we are doing the right thing and that he'll move on quickly. I love all the information print outs she gives to us after every visits and our son got a book for his birthday! The best part is Dr. Ettienne can sign! It makes our communication easier than writing on a piece of paper or having an interpreter for every visits! We will stay with Dr. Ettienne until our son ages out from a pediatric care!

My son started speech therapy with T. Booth in December 2021 and it made such a difference. I appreciate her patience, kindness, and skills that helped my son so much within a year span.
