This Edible Arrangements store is amazing. The staff is super kind friendly and accommodating and they go above and beyond. My family member had a baby and ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected so I had to call the store who said it was no problem at all to move the delivery date. They also told me to call early in the day to the new delivery date if my family member was not back home yet. Luckily my family member was back home for the new delivery date but to my surprise the store called my to make sure she was back home and delivered the arrangement earlier than promised. My family loved the arrangement. It was beautiful and perfect. What a wonderful experience and awesome customer service with this store. read more

So I absolutely love Edible arrangements. I frequent the one in Mokena; it's awesome. Unfortunately edible arrangements have districts or regions that they travel to. I wanted an edible arrangement to be delivered to Flossmoor. I did a same day delivery. I ordered two 12 piece fruit boxes going to a business for two different people with the same message. I called to see if they could separate the names and put one name on each box. The manager/owner told me he could not plus they were already on the truck headed to the desired location. No problem, I thought; at least my gift will get there on time... The fruit never arrived. You got it...it never even showed up. Good Evening, I placed my order for 3 sugar cookies, 3 chocolate chip, and two of the birthday cheese cake which on the website had a Happy Birthday stencils on it. Upon arrival the happy birthday cheesecake did not have the stencils in there I also did not receive chocolate chip cookies instead oatmeal cookies. I proceeded to call the company and express the delivery was wrong. When I asked what happened to the stencils on the cheesecake Like the picture on the website he proceeded to say that he put whip cream on there in spelled out happy birthday with the sprinkles. Mind you they are small cheesecake so how could you spell out happy birthday with sprinkles. The person on the phone was very angry and telling me to Bring back the order and to have my husband not open it. I explain to the person that he had already eaten some of it because that's the way we found out the chocolate chip cookies were oatmeal raisin. The person on the other line proceeded to say what did I want him to do without giving me any kind of apology or compensation he was very rude and I just didn't understand why. Received an email from Edible Arrangements that I had a free 12-count box of chocolate dipped fruit for my birthday reward. Oak Forest location is closest to my house. Went in to get it and the girl at the counter said I had to order it online. Thought that was strange. So right there, using my phone, I went on their website and there was no place to claim my reward. I asked her again as to whether or not I can just pick it up because there's no place on the website to claim my reward. She said I had to order online. Again, I looked and again, no way to order it. She went in back and got her manager. He told me it had to be ordered on the website, but only if I placed an order for something else would I be able to claim it. I told him that was not what the email said. No, he claimed, I had to purchase something else in order to claim my reward. I told him he was trying to scam me and walked out. When I got home, I called the Orland Park store. VERY friendly and helpful. She took my phone number associated with my account, put in my order for my FREE birthday reward (WITHOUT having to purchase anything else), and said to give them 45-60 minutes to get it ready. I did find out that each store is individually owned, which was the reason for the different treatment between the two stores. IMO, do NOT use the Oak Forest Edible Arrangements store, but DO support the Orland Park store. read more

I ordered the little grill Father's Day arrangement. I ordered the one with 12 fruits. When I walked in to pick it up, the employee behind the desk was on the phone. When he got off the phone he said he was dealing with an upset customer. I gave him my info and he gave me my arrangement from the fridge. It was the grill but it was covered. When I was ordering, I thought the arrangement would look like the picture. Just like every other time I have ordered, the arrangement looked identical to the picture. Anyway, I asked him why it wasn't assembled? He said that's how it comes. I was a bit surprised considering the fact that I have never had to arrange my own fruits on the arrangements I have purchased. I asked him to arrange the fruits for me like the picture showed and he said that is how the order comes and it's easy to arrange yourself. Very disappointed. Worst arrangement I've ever ordered. Customer service is even worse. I ordered an arrangement for my sister's bday to be delivered on April 12th. Delivery was on point and my sister was very happy and pleased. Until, she ate a piece of the fruit, that is. I ordered an arrangement and paid extra to have chocolate dipped pineapples included. The pineapples were every hard and not sweet. I actually thought we had gotten the core. Then once she tasted the cantaloupe it was hard and not sweet either. So I called and spoke with Ray. He was totally rude. He defense was, he had not received complaints from any of the other customers. I shared with him, I was not concerned about other customers, only my order which I paid for, and NOT the other customers. I requested to have the manager call me. I was told her name is Sabrina. She never called. I called back on Thursday. Ray then tells me his corporate office said I would need to return the product for a refund. I told Ray, that I am happy to do that and could, in fact, have done that, the first day we spoke. The next day which was Friday, I took the arrangement which had only a few pieces eaten out of it. Ray then told me he would refund my money and since it was Friday, I should see the refund by Wednesday at the latest. Well today is Thursday and still no refund. So I called back, Ray then tells me his manager, who I am guessing is Sabrina, did not put the refund through. These people are full of crap. I will be filing a dispute with my bank. Not only do I not have the arrangement, I do not have the refund either. Ironically, as I was waiting in the store for Ray to process what he told me, was the refund, another customer called and was inquiring about a refund as well. I don't know how these people stay in business. The smell in the store was horrible. We have no idea what we could be eating and how clean these people are. After I corrected him & showed him proof from the wrong information he gave,he continued to have a smart mouth. When I came to pick up the order,he was on the phone AGAIN! I placed an order online a day before to be picked up at 9:30am, i arrive at 9:30am and Manager/Only employee named Rey was on the phone explaining something to an angry customer. I waited for 20 minutes for him to finish his phone call, when he gets off the phone and ask what i needed (rude tone) I said i was here for a pick up. He immediately answered it won't be ready till 10:30. He didn't look up my order, nor took the time to see what i ordered. I gave the address it is an office building with a suite number. I gave my cell if there is a problem. They called my cell at 5:45 looking for my wife. They said they had a truck break down. They had to call another location 20 miles away to deliver. I said she has left work already. I asked why am I getting a call now. "we were too busy". I ordered something for delivery today and it was not delivered today. Delivery was never even attempted. When I called the store to find out the status of the delivery, they claimed to have called the recipient two times and left two voicemails. The recipient was home all day, has no missed calls nor voicemails. The employee was rude unhelpful and insensitive to the fact that someone may be upset that the delivery was not made on the day it was ordered for (imagine that?) Edible arrangements own delivery policies say they will leave a note at the door if delivery was attempted--no such note. Very upsetting, people order things for delivery on a certain day for a reason. When I asked for a refund, the woman said she wouldn't help me and that I would need to talk to a manager tomorrow. Horrible. Stay away. I ordered a large Congratulations bouquet for my future daughter in law. Graduating with a MBA and needed for a large party. When I picked it up it was in a Valentines Vase!!! Red with White hearts. I understand the vase may change a bit from the order on line but to did not expect them to use an out of season vase. When I asked for another she said they did not have anything else in the store. This business seems to keep a small supply of stock and will push anything off on the consumer that they have not sold previously. This arrangement would have been an embarrassment to my family, and guests and to your business. I had no gift to bring. Why was I not contacted to say they have a limited supply of stock. Why didn't they get a vase from another store? I want a full refund. The girl at the counter could not give me anything to show that I did not receive the product. You know those times when you should've looked at the reviews and didn't, but then you had a bad experience and you see that everyone else has too? Yea, well I placed an order with these sweethearts for delivery. It was never delivered, so I called to follow up. No one answered, so I called the national customer service line who finally got ahold of them and they said that they had tried to call me multiple times (they hadn't) and when I called them out on their lie, they changed their story and lied again and again. It would've been a little humourous had my 280 bucks not been on the line, or if I didn't have a pissed off toddler in the background, but my patience wasn't quite where it normally is. Essentially, they refused to deliver my order because they thought the charge was fraudulent because it was a large order. Urmm, ok. But, they still charged my card, because that makes total sense. Take the money and don't deliver or make it because it's fake. Ok. They said they'd cancel my order and that I'd "probably" get a refund. Um. So, I'm out of a lot of money and don't even have a damn poorly cut pineapple to drown my sorrows in. I called corporate to complain about the poor customer service I received. After not hearing back from the store owner I called corporate again. The number they gave me to call was for the store I called the first time and got yelled at. The person to contact was a different name then who yelled at me. I called the number and the person who answered sounded like the person I spoke to the day before but answered to the new name I had. As I began telling him about my complaint, he said he didn't feel he yelled at me when I spoke to him. I asked him about the two different names and he said he goes by both. I told him there wasn't any point talking to him since he was the person I had a problem with to begin with. I called corporate again who was very apologetic for the whole experience and would contact me again after speaking to a few managers about what to do with the matter.
