This is a hidden treasure in Oak Forest. A cozy place for excellent coffee and sweet and savory treats. The ambience is classy and the music is pleasant and subtle. Service was great.

I was happy to learn that neither have garlic or onion! So, I ordered a cheddar herb bagel, toasted, with cucumber shmear, and avocado. It was delicious! The bagel was crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside. My partner got a sausage, egg, cheese on an everything bagel. He loved it, as usual. I also ordered a spiced chai. It came out pipping hot but once it cooled enough that I could drink it, it was delicious! Highly recommend! They have a shared parking lot with a few other places, but it was easy to find a parking spot. You order at the counter, and they prepare your bagels, so that when you get to the cash register, they are ready for you to take. If your drinks aren't ready yet, you can take a seat at one of the tables and they will bring them to you. The people working here seemed like a family. They were kind and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be back.

I dug in and enjoyed every morsel. It was well prepared, fresh, and delicious. I also indulged in a couple bottles of their smoothies, blueberry with avocado, banana, bananas, cane sugar, and a strawberry banana with the same cane sugar also vegan friendly. I originally learned of this place when I worked in Tinley Park a couple years ago and drove all the way from Chicago today to go there to treat myself. As usual, I was greeted with kindness by Chris, who was working the register at the time. The ambience is surreal, it provides a quiet place to enjoy your food, read, work or if you need to just reflect on life. This is one of my favorites and although they're not close to Chicago, it's worth the drive! I was a little disappointed that they no longer have my avocado rolls. I really enjoyed those but everything is still good. I wish I could get more vegan options on the menu but overall, Avocado Theory is a 12 out of 10.

They are made from fresh dough and ingredients, and only take 5 minutes to cook. If you've been to Eataly, you know the type of pizza I'm talking about. The bottom crust is charred, but not crisp or chewy. The outer crust is also charred, but chewy. This is similar to Eataly, but of course not as good. A 12-inch pizza is about $7, and the ingredients are much higher in quality than most pizza places nearby. Their Bianco pizza is great, with olive oil/parmigiano reggiano/shredded mozzarella/ricotta. Fresh mozzarella and goat cheese are also available cheeses. Very high price to value ratio. There are booths for dining in the establishment. This is nothing like Aurelio's or Russo's, so look at the picture on their menu to know what you're getting: http://www.deltasoniccarwash.com/assets/brickovenho.pdf

My order was made correctly, the ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. My son and I truly enjoyed our lunch! My only complaint does not concern the young ladies who work there. My issue is the way in which you place your own order. Why is there not a method to remove the items that are not desired on the order and to add what is wanted without having to tell the staff? If I am to place the order electronically, then the digital equipment used to accomplish this task should have the capacity to complete the order in totality.

People chatting, families picking out pastries, employees moving quickly behind the counter, and the smell of fresh baked goods filling the entire bakery. The staff were super nice and they gave me some good recommendations. Everything looked delicious. But there was one pastry that caught my attention the second I saw it: the Maple Bacon Doughnut. Sitting there with that thick maple glaze dripping over the edges and covered with crispy bacon pieces, it looked almost too good to pass up. The first bite completely lived up to the hype. The doughnut itself was soft and pillowy, while the maple glaze was rich, buttery, and packed with that warm cinnamon-maple flavor. Then the bacon kicked in. Crispy, smoky, salty, and just enough crunch to contrast the softness of the doughnut. The combination was ridiculous. Every bite tasted like someone somehow turned an entire breakfast into a dessert. Sweet maple, savory bacon, hints of cinnamon, and that fluffy dough all working together perfectly. Pure bliss from start to finish.

Service is very good here as everyone knows exactly what they are doing and they are trained very well. The dining room is expansive and can seat many customers ... and that is a good thing since there is usually a line and the parking lot is full. Kids are welcome and families are all over the place ... all adding to the noise levels. They also serve brunch and do that just as well as breakfast. Food wise ... what can you say about eggs, or French toast, or pancakes that hasn't been said before? They bring off all these treats very well and they do it very fast. You won't be sitting around waiting for your meal. While just off the beaten path over here on Oak Park Avenue, do make a point of trying this place out. Very good all around.

It was very clean here, and welcoming service. Pretty busy too. Booths were roomy. Food came out in a jiffy and wow - the portions here were great! We loved all of the food, and I really enjoyed my omelet - because it was huge, plenty of eggs too, and a very hearty breakfast. They make banana bread here and sell it by the loaf - well I had to get some. Took that puppy home and put it in the freezer. After a week or so we took it out - and it was excellent! Not as good as my mom's but it's still very good, and I highly recommend it. Not too sweet, large loaf, and I got enough banana flavor too. If I am ever back here in this area we are going to stop here for sure. Excellence customer service too!
