There were never any issues with my orders until the past month or so. I almost always order through the app. On occasion I will just stop in and order at the counter. I understand that it gets busy and sometimes there are mistakes. However, for the past month or so they consistently forgot the bakery items in my app order and I usually end up showing my receipt and letting them know they missed something like a donut or muffin. On my last visit, I ordered a donut, some hash browns and a pumpkin chai latte. This time they remembered everything. I threw a tip in the cup at the counter like I always do and went on my way. I was down the road a little bit before I took a little sip of my latte. I was surprised to see that it wasn't fully filled. I understand that when a drink sits there is a little settling of the foam. But for a latte it shouldn't have settled as much as it did! I was disappointed to say the least. I do enjoy treating myself and my granddaughters to these weekly treats. I just hope that these issues don't become a common thing. Other than that, the place is always clean and the staff are really nice.

I came in on Black Friday (gasp!), not for any crazy deals but because I was running errands with a friend and needed a shower curtain & some other household minutia. The store was busy but not overwhelming and there were plenty of employees around to help. I found a shower curtain I loved (I'm so excited just typing that, guess this is life in your 30s) and the display was the only one in stock so a nice staff member got that crazy enormous ladder and took it down for me, priced it ($13.99 from $45!!) and sent me on my way. Pluuuus it was an extra 20% off because of Black Friday! So that's my highlight for the month but the moral of the story is the staff were all great, they kept the lines moving fast, and it was a much more pleasant experience than I anticipated during a busy weekend.

Shopping at Wild Birds Unlimited may be the most wonderful shopping experience ever, especially if…read morePhilip is providing his expert assistance. He knows everything there is to know about the products Wild Birds Unlimited (WBU) sells. What you need to know is that Wild Birds Unlimited sells bird feeders and lots of other assorted related items. As Philip eloquently stated, he is selling "non-essential" items. Well, I will tell you who thinks these things are essential, the birds in my backyard. I have been feeding my backyard birds for years using two wonderful bird feeders called the Eliminator. The Eliminator is specially designed to prevent squirrels from eating the bird seed. Let me tell you, the squirrels in my back yard have complained very loudly about this. When birds sit on a ring surrounding the bottom of the Eliminator, the weight of the birds opens small doors at the base of the feeder just large enough to allow the birds to feed. But, if a squirrel climbs on the ring, the weight of the squirrel activates springs causing the doors to shut. This bird feeder is an outstanding example of sophisticated engineering. Bird watching is a fascinating thing. I watched the birds who were watching the squirrels trying to eat their birdseed. I swear I saw the birds laughing at the squirrels who were too stupid to figure out how to open the doors and eat their birdseed. Anyway, one of my bird feeders broke which is almost impossible because the Eliminator is extremely well constructed with space age plastic. Most birds will go extinct before this bird feeder will wear out! The Eliminator comes with a guarantee. If it breaks, Wild Birds Unlimited will fix it. A year or so ago, a bolt of lightning hit a huge tree limb hanging over my bird feeders. A two ton limb fell, striking one of my bird feeders causing the plastic bird seed container tube to break and separate from the base of the bird feeder. I immediately rushed to my nearest Wild Birds Unlimited to find out how to fix this problem. WBU instantly honored the guarantee. They replaced my broken tube with a brand new tube and I was back in business in no time. Let me tell you, my backyard birds were thrilled about the great service provided by WiBU. They "cheep" about it all the time. If you want to get into backyard bird watching, I highly recommend Wild Birds Unlimited in Brookfield. Tell them Henry sent you. It will not get you a discount or anything else for that matter except to know that I will think it is funny that you mentioned my name. Seriously, if you shop here for your bird watching needs, please ask for Philip. He will provide all the hardware and all the advice that you may need for successful bird watching. Best wishes to all of you. Henry Pearlman Hpearl5@aol.com

They even have sale sections too where you might score something. From backsplashes, to hard wood, to your favorite little beeswax tile (my fave hee hee) they have it all. If you're looking to DIY something and are absolutely not a pro at this, please don't get mad at the staff for not telling YOU how you should do your TikTok project that you have no idea how to begin or even do. This is totally not their responsibility, they know their stuff but they're not here to be your contractor and the pros, they simply work here and are knowledgeable at what they do - the rest, leave it to the professionals. So don't get mad if they don't "explain to you" how to install a tile or a backsplash. This is not a workshop it's a floor store. We've had great experiences coming here, once for a DIY thing and another time to get our bathroom floor redone. Both were fantastic experiences! This last time, they absolutely saved the day. We walked in knowing exactly what we wanted, exactly what we needed - thanks to their online selection and choices but also to their sq ft calculator, this was SO helpful. Bad news, but the tile we needed was not there, just one little half box was available. We asked one of the guys that worked there and he came out with a WHOLE PALLET of it within minutes. Ask and you shall receive! This literally made our day and we were able to get the pieces we needed in time for the pros to get our floor done. It came out incredible. Oh, and grout selection is a thing. We were guided the right direction to make the right choice for the right grout and right shade. OBSESSED. Thank you Floor & Decor for making us happy!
