Today, June 3, 2025 I ordered and had delivered an edible treat for my granddaughter who graduated from high school in Vienna, VA. I live in Vermont, so I ordered this in good faith! The order was timed perfectly. The edible treats were fresh and the presentation was incredible (My daughter sent a picture). I added a few chocolate covered strawberries, and they got rave reviews. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Paid over $140 yesterday for Valentine's Day flowers and chocolate covered strawberries and guaranteed same day delivery. They never contacted me to say they wouldn't be delivering it. They just left the order as "out for delivery" for over five hours. An incredible disappointment and the lack of communication is the worst I've seen at an establishment like this. I've been trying to contact them to get my money back to no avail so far. The worst form of customer service! I'll never do business here again. I had an issue with my order not being delivered to the recipient. There's no way you can speak to anyone by phone and when you leave your name, phone number and order number, no one gets back to you. I received my Edible Arrangement yesterday and it was the best one I've every received. The undipped fruit was fresh and crispty and the pieces that were dipped in chocolate were also fresh as well as the chocolatee was firm. I've received these arrangements in the past and they were typically mushy. Also, I received a call ahead of time letting me know they were delivering this and that was very much welcomed. This particular place has been a disappointment every single time I've used them. I live very close to this location so I often purchase items for myself and my family. I've been using them for years. My chocolate dipped strawberries are always very small in size and nothing like this franchise offers. I have had rotten fruit as well. I've complained before and all I received was free popcorn. This franchise needs assistance in how to properly acquire the best fruits. Absolutely the worst customer service/delivery I've ever experienced. Gave them specific and easy-to-follow directions for delivery and they left it in a package room of an apartment building for anyone to pick up. I had to constantly call to see if my order had been delivered because I was told multiple times it would be delivered by 12pm then 5pm then 5:30pm and they didn't get delivered until 6pm. Follow up to my last review. I am pretty sure the manager saw my post and called back immediately. She said that the "phone service has been acting up all day and that's why the call cut-off''. Funny, because there were no issues during our 15 minute conversation, only when I became a bit agitated where there technical difficulties. Anyhow, she called back and we spoke in a civilized manner. She said she would send our friend chocolates with the missing note from our edible arrangement. Our friends received the additional treats. I do appreciate the resolution, but very disappointed it took my review for action to happen. This was a joke. I was gifted a 47.00 dollar of three inedible dry cupcakes and brownies. It was on a cheap black plastic platter. The entire thing cupcakes, brownies and platter tasted and looked like they went down to the local Food Lion and bought their day old goods. My husband and I took one bite of each and threw it out. We are now in conversation to get our friends their money back. It was unbelievable!!! read more

Excellent service! I had a surprise delivery for a birthday arrangement scheduled to my friend - but she took off work last minute without telling me! So the delivery guy called me and let me know that she's not there. He ended up being able to deliver the arrangement to my house so that I could personally give it to my friend. I ordered a birthday bundle for my sister (see picture below). Our family jokes that we are a "balloon family". Unfortunately, the bundle didn't arrive with the balloon (the picture with the door was the pic from the driver who delivered it). I tried several times to contact the McClean Edible arrangements but it is impossible to actually reach a particular store, you just get a call center which puts you on hold forever. I also tried to chat with the company but that was quite a joke, try for yourself. I just want a balloon to be delivered to my sister or a 30% refund since she only received two thirds of the bungle. Unfortunately, I can't talk to anyone about this. This was a disappointing experience. read more

I'm Very Disappointed with the arrangement they sent my friend for her birthday. It was supposed to be a large arrangement and also I paid for added more chocolate strawberries, end up paying over $110 and the picture in the App showed a beautiful large arrangement with grapes and other fruits, but when I received the picture from my friend , it was smaller version with no grapes , called the store and was given excuses that I ordered average size at first and the container cost $10 etc and no grapes are included and it's in the description which you should have clicked to read ... however we always go with the picture and even if it's company's fault or not I'm an unhappy customer receiving less than what I expected or shown in picture ... they didn't offer any apology nor any other offer to resolve this . I would never buy from this store for sure and suggest others to try another store, if you decide to go with Edible arrangement pick another store, the management on this store has no clue what customer service is ! read more

First time ordering Edible Arrangement. Very disappointed with quality of fruit unfortunately. McLean manager very nice when I called just to let them know. They sent a sorry gift of desserts that same evening. Great customer service but poor product. My review is to let other customers know before they spend a lot on fruit as a gift. My purchase was for myself and family as a new year treat, since I was purchasing another one as a gift. We threw out half of the arrangement since it was either mushy or underripe fruit. Please note maybe the fruit were out of season, I ordered only 2 days in advance, and I used a 20% off coupon so any of those might have affected my purchase but expensive first and last time lesson. : ( read more

I picked up the fruit tray today that I've ordered for my family. I was beyond disappointed to see rotten strawberries and tiny pieces of melon, cantaloupe and pineapple that looked like scraps-leftovers of fruit that has been cut in shapes for basket arrangements. It doesn't look like picture on the website at all! There are pieces cut in cubes on the site, and tiny disfigured ends in the reality. I was a loyal customer and always been satisfied with the quality of arrangements, except for the past 2 visits to the store in McLean. I stopped by to pick up tray for a friend who was recovering in the middle of April and saw a fly in the store while waiting for my order. I pointed to the lady, and she apologized. Store doesn't look tidy either. Seems like, management has changed. Today, when I stopped to pick up a tray for myself, I've noticed a piece of rotten strawberry and pointed to the guy handling me the tray. He opened the lid and grabbed the bad piece without gloves! Then, replaced it with a couple of freshly cut strawberries. I found another rotten piece once I served the tray. Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic! It will be my last time using this location. Horrible violation of food handling code and a rip off of customers. I paid $35 to get leftovers, scraps and a rotten fruit! Never ever I will use this location for my orders again! Very disappointed with Edible Arrangements on Chain Bridge Rd. Paid $85 which included $14.99 for delivery to a location less than 2 miles away from store. I called store at 4:30pm to confirm that they had the order and that it was going to be delivered. Was told "no later than 6pm". The recipient had waited all day. I told her "it's coming, no later than 6pm". The order showed up at 6:40pm. Keep in mind...this was only 1.8 miles from the store. This shows the attitude of store management. And to think I paid $14.99 for this kind of delivery "service". What a shame! The store had the order a week in advance. Not good. read more

Totally disappointed again!!!! This is the second time that I have tried giving Edible Arrangements store #1467 on Chain Bridge Road my business...I WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!! I placed my order in advance for a birthday party box with balloons for my son's 22nd birthday and made a special request on the delivery time. Well needless to say the delivery was way past the time I requested and my son had left work for the day...thank God my daughter works with him and took the delivery. So from the start I was pissed because it didn't get to my son before he left work for the day...but when my daughter sent me a photo I was pissed all over again. The only thing that the store delivered was the box with no balloons. I called the store to voice my complaint and told them this was the second time they have messed up an order for me; and I totally believe the woman knew she didn't send a complete delivery. For the prices that you are charged for the products and a delivery charge...I say when they mess up a delivery not only should you receive a refund for the items they did not deliver you should also receive a refund for the delivery fee. I placed an order on line for pick up. The delivery charge is a little steep for such a short distance. The shop was easy to find and parking was available. The fruit arrangement was very nice looking and the service was very friendly. My only complaint was that the size for a $60 arrangement was a little smaller than I expected. It contained all the components, chocolate dipped strawberries and pineapple with cantaloupe, honey dew melon, grapes as well as undipped strawberries and pineapple. There was even pineapple cut and decorated like daisies. I was very happy with the arrangement just not the amount. I have been shopping with Edible Arrangements from the beginning and it just seems the arrangements are smaller for the dollar over time. Still a great gift for someone who has everything they want or need. It is something that they will enjoy and will not clutter up their house with something useless or unwanted. read more
