Edgewater Pools did a phenomenal job for us! We had many challenges when approaching them with elevation, current retaining walls, poor drainage. The list of obstacles can go on. Shawn, the designer of the pool was Awesome! He came to the house and spoke with us and heard our vision. He grabbed his laptop and literally started putting this vision together. When we showed up to the Edgewater design center at a later date, he pulled up our vision in their showroom. We were blown away! Immediately, We were excited to work with Edgewater. Last year, our neighbor had A&S Pools put theirs together and ran into a few issues with communication, when work was to be done...many breakdowns that frustrated them. I cannot say the same for Edgewater. Shawn started it and passed the project to Jay. He was our project manager that communicated very well as to who, what, when, and how the project was to be worked on. We threw a few curve balls to Jay in the process and he let us make a few changes without any real pushback. Also, Amy, the receptionist was on the spot communicating with us every step of the way. Cannot say enough about how such a large project went smoothly with very few issues to even mention. The Pentair App you get for you phone is so cool too! You can turn on lights, change colors, Turn on the heater to the spa and pool, and manage all the pool functions! Very high tech! I would trust the Edgewater Team to put in your pool if you are considering this investment. Our backyard is our own vacation oasis thanks to them! read more

I signed a contract for Edgewater to install a pool in March of 2020. In late October they started demolition of my deck for an infinity pool. After two and a half weeks the left and never came back. They disconnected my hot tub for a year, removed the railing and made the deck unusable. In March of 2021 and several excuses I fired them. I finally got my money back minus work performed in a few checks. Now I have to wait for a different pool company to perform the job at a higher price. read more

Edgewater recently completed our pool and they were great!!!! It took a little while for digging to begin but they were honest and let us know that. Mike, the designer spent hours with me and ensured my vision and ideas were just perfect. We changed some plans and he was also so attentive. Rick and his team were very responsive. If I could leave a Zero star review I would. This company is a joke, they started building our pool October of 2020 and it's now, July 13th 2022, the pool still isn't complete, half the time they send their contractors or workers over they never know what they are doing here, or they pretend to work and do a couple laps around the outside of the pool get in there truck and leave. The owner is well aware of the situation and chooses not to do anything. I wouldn't recommend this pool company to my worst enemy. They do not care about their customers, they don't even seem to pretend to care, I just want this job done and them gone. read more

My experience with Edgewater Pools has been non-existent. I have been trying to get an appointment for a new pool consultation for about a month now. I have called multiple times and always get an answering machine. They claim that all calls are important to them and they will return your call promptly. The call never comes however. I understand that they are busy, but to simply not return calls is unprofessional. With the average cost of a pool in the Charlotte region at over $60k, one would think that they would want to pursue every lead. I will be spending my money with another pool builder. read more

The installation process a couple of years ago was great and the pool came out great and I believe the price was very fair. The follow up has been horrible. There is a section of the cement patio that has been sagging and they sent a repair guy out to do patchwork which did nothing. We have tried to follow up and the owner actually came out last fall suggesting a french drain and other ideas. Edgewater did the grading of the property so i believe they should be partially responsible and I asked him for quote. Have tried numerous follow up and nothing. I am willing to split costs but he won't return calls. I actually put the drain in myself and looking for the cement to be replaced. I'm pretty sure his answer is just to ignore....HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! read more

We highly recommend looking elsewhere. The sales and consultation process was great, they even have a nice "showroom" that gives you a great way to understand your choices. And got to visit 2 happy customers' pools. But, a few months after our pool was completed (almost 3 years ago now) the tiles started coming off. It's very difficult to get their attention to get it fixed. They've come by twice to get the tiles back on - once was 30 minutes before we were having a pool party - which we had let them know about. The tiles continue to come off (which makes the edges of the remaining is a hazard for cutting yourself), and they've stopped returning our calls and emails. I would stay away. read more

Edgewater was fantastic! We had it installed 2 years ago. Installation went great. There was days things were delayed but not to any fault of theirs; weather related. Since then customer service has been amazing. They are always available to answer questions and/or service (service only because I can't remember how to do things..lol). I get my pool water tested there monthly and purchase chemicals. Highly recommend them read more

We have gone back and forth with them about fixing our pool and they have stood us up on multiple occasions, mis-diagnosed the issue with our pool and then stopped answering our calls/emails after being told they would fix our issues for the past several months. We recently contracted with Edgewater pools, and our build is now complete. Edgewater's project manager, Jon McCoy, was on top of our project 100% of the time, allowing for a smooth and efficient build. The entire team, from the digging crew, to the tile crew, the pebble tek crew to the electricians, plumbers, fence crew, etc., was on task, respectful of our property, and committed to delivering the pool of our dreams! From the beginning, our Sales Rep was responsive to our questions and guided us through the process. The Construction Coordinator worked closely with our project manager, and always was quick to respond and resolve any issues. With a team like this working on our behalf, the process went quickly, and we are ready to enjoy our new pool as soon as the weather cooperates. read more

We called a couple different pool companies for estimates on our pool. We are so glad that we chose Edgewater Pools to do our project. They were great from Melissa our sales rep to Amy in the office who kept us updated every week on what was going on. Gregg the Quality and Control man explained everything in detail on what we needed and how the whole building a pool process works. The whole crew including Jessie,Jacob,Cary, Kevin all did amazing jobs with the initial dig and equipment set up and land grading and pool start up. I also want to thank Rick he was only a phone call away if there were any questions I had. If only the rain would have cooperated with us it probably would have been completed a lot sooner. That being said Edgewater was the right choice for us and we are so happy with our pool and can't wait for the warmer weather to come. Negative reviews are not allowed unfortunately. I should have asked for more than 3 references. The pool itself is satisfactory. The service (lack of response), untimeliness of jobs, excuses, bullying from staff and owners is not satisfactory. I refuse to recommend this company to anyone - even if they're desperate. read more
