Richard and his team are A+++ in my opinion. The crew was onsite at 8 am and worked until 6 pm. Rotten siding (including a shutter) was replaced; gaps were sealed, storm windows removed--the attention to detail was incredible. The crew was very friendly and extremely helpful. We called him (after recommendation from our friend/realtor) with a very tight timeframe and he was able to come out the very next day and started work a few days later. His pricing was competitive and he is licensed and bonded, which was important to us as we had vaulted ceilings. He also uses quality paint, not builder grade, which was included in the price. We had removed popcorn ceiling and had them paint directly on the sheetrock. Unfortunately, even after a few coats, the way the light hit in one of the rooms, you could ever so slightly the lines on the ceiling where the joint compound was. After one text to Richard, he came back the very next day and added additional coats until it was no longer visible, without hesitation or question. Great customer service and very responsive!

They also repaired cracks and painted several walls and doors. She kept us appraised of everything that was going on so that we were not surprised about the project. We are very pleased with the results. She also came back for touchups until we were satisfied that the job was completed. The workers were also prompt everyday. Very pleasant to work with and very professional. I would recommend. The cost was more than we planned but there was more to do than originally expected...so I would say the cost was fair.

They used the cheapest paint. Some left over from another job and spray painted everything! I had the whole interior of my house painted as well as a built-in bookcase. Originally I was told…read moreit would take two days to paint the walls, then it was bumped to three after I added the bookcase (it's huge, so it made sense). After the first day of painting I was told it'd be done in two, but they probably should have used that third day. Some places look nice, but others definitely look rushed. There are places where you can see the paint dripped and dried with the dripping, some places I still see the original paint color, and they got paint all over my light fixtures and even some on the doors. The bookcase looks great, but I can no longer switch around the shelves to different levels because it looks like they put them back in wet, so when I remove a shelf, there's a nasty dark smear where the shelf meets the bookcase that's only hidden if the shelf remains in place. It felt like a rushed job and I was given five minutes to say if I was pleased with it or not. It wasn't until I was fully moved in that I began noticing all the poor work. Another complaint, I know they didn't use the paint color I gave them; they color matched it somewhere else and painted the cans so I wouldn't see the brand was wrong.

I had Jonh and his crew come out to paint builders grade oak cabinets I have at a corporate rental…read more Here's the most important thing with this painting company -- when it comes to painting kitchen cabinets, they use a top quality, oil primer first and then use a paint specifically manufactured for cabinets. This is not stuff you'd put on your walls. The result is that cabinets that have a visible grain (like oak), get filled in and smoothed out in a way you wouldn't get with traditional paint. It really makes a difference and it will really matter over time because it won't chip or scratch as easily. Jonh's guys are polite and do a great job. At the end, when they ask you to check everything, be sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb. You will find little places that might need a tiny touch up here and there. I don't think this is due to sloppy work, I just think that after spraying the inside and outside of cabinets for hours, you begin to lose sight of small imperfections. So, let them do their job and come in at the end to see what they might have missed with some fresh eyes. I thought their price was fair and they really transformed my kitchen.

He takes care of EVERYTHING (pulls the permits, takes measurements, orders/provides supplies, arranges worker schedules, etc.) and takes the time to answer any questions you have for him (which in our case was a lot). Roger surpassed our expectations on communication, as he was courteous, responsive, and thorough. We also never had any trouble getting hold of him if we needed to. What I appreciated the most about him is that he has strong communication, great work ethic and will get the job done no matter how long it takes. We had an issue or two with our ceiling fan after the project was done and he immediately came out to take a look - both at the fan and at the how it was wired (turns out it was the fan). Very impressive customer service. The work was immaculate and the follow up was equally impressive. Jack (owner) communicated with me at first in person, on my property, followed by a quote the next day and then a couple of days before the job was to commence and once during wrap up. The final call was to collect a balance and he waited two weeks before doing that. There were several texts send by me; ie these guys are great etc. He did not appear to be bottom line driven but with his focus on my satisfaction. Of course all business owner want to get paid but that never felt like his priority. It's an art to make a client feel the way I did upon completion. Well done! For the reviews that discuss quotes and didn't select them, the cheap comes out expensive. I would expect most painters to have similar quotes and recommend getting 2 or 3 but paying a bit more for a great job done quickly, that's a no brainer to me. fyi; NEVER accept the cheapest quote and there's a subtle art to a contract negotiation. Don't play games and say what your budget is up front. It makes things go smoothly from the start and the business owner will appreciate your forthrightness. The company will say yes, no or counter. My house looks amazing and that was my #1 goal. It's important to mention that I took a bit too long responding as I am a very busy guy who travels a ton. Glad I chose this team and I'm looking forward to the next project!
