This place was alright. I think the only issue I had mainly was with the CoCo's restaurant downstairs... that was a nightmare... the place was chill and wasn't overly crowded. The downside to the room was the TV was SOOO small I had to squint to watch all the infomercials that played on literally every channel. I noticed that every time we would try to go up to the room there was always a line by the elevators... that was very odd it's almost like only 1 elevator worked.. yikes. We didn't have any shower towels when we arrived but that's whatever we just called down and had them bring us up some. The room was pretty cool I really enjoyed the view I'll give them that. I would say this was a pretty chill place to relax and I wouldn't mind coming back. Ultimate benefit of this place was the sandwich restaurant !!!!!! Thee best sandwich I've had in awhile. read more

Didn't want fast paced nickle and dime you to death Las Vegas that has extra hidden daily fees for rooms and parking and grumpy workers. So why not go to Laughlin? Great accommodations. Friendly customer service. Girl at the counter hooked us up. Discounts... discounts... discounts... No extra parking fees. No extra room fees. Recently renovated rooms. Clean, fresh, new home smell. Would have given 5 stars previous years. This year not so much. Bar and restaurant staff are still the absolute best thing about the Edge. "New" bartop machines (the tall ones) are ridiculously tight, in fact they all are now whereas they used to let you win every now and then. Eh, nature of the beast I guess. The worst, they actually sent security (who were very nice), out to the pool to tell me there is no smoking out there. Outside. At the pool. Where there were 5 other people. Where there used to be ashtrays everywhere. Here's a novel idea Edgewater; instead of embarrassing your guests, put up a "no smoking" sign. Just one. Maybe where the "Rules" are posted? Or at the entrance? Or anywhere? If there's magically no outdoor smoking anymore, fine, but just one sign somewhere would save your guests embarrassment and your security staff shoe leather. read more

I'm wanting to posting a photo of a great drink made by our bartender Angel, it's a mudslide, and he can make it so awesome. But can't post it, something went wrong.We are locals only been here in Nevada for a little bit, but we want to support our local casion's they have a hard enough time trying to stay afloat, and probably because people would rather support their local indians and their casinos, who knows. Have never stayed at their hotel, so I couldn't tell you much about that. If there was a zero star I will pick that. Rooms are horrible, found bed bugs the first room and they change us to another room with no apologies, rather they make us feel bad and had security follow us at 2am to go down to check in for the new room. When I called to report the lady that answered said Oh my god before hanging up so I could hear her.... Also we forgot a charger called back security because we are local and security said that they were busy and ask for me to call back at a later time. read more

1st time at the Edgewater, beyond disappointed, 1st of all the room was dirty, no microwave or mini fridge, carpet looked not vacuumed, lint all over the place! Windows mirrors were very dirty. Also, the shower metal is rusted There are rust stains in the toilets looks to be dirty. Their pillows are lumpy like they're very old, the furniture is broken. Also, this is a non-smoking room, and it smelled like smoke and just a foul odor when we just got in The room. Then we called on our 3 rd day to get house keeping while we be gone all day, we got back only to find out that house keeping had not cleaned room , we called house keeping and they informed us that since we are a stay over they don't need to clean room till after 4 pm, that was NEVER relayed to us when we called in the morning , they flagged our room as do no disturb without notification, it's ridiculous, very disgusting, desk staff made it sound like we should know the edge water policies and like it's our fault. !!! , if I could give a -5 I sure would!!!' read more

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Edgewater Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn potential future guests. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom was in a particularly sorry state, with grime and dirt visible on the shower and mirror. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned for some time, which was not only unappealing but also raised serious concerns about hygiene. However, the most distressing part of my stay was the discovery of bed bugs. I woke up after my second night with bed bug bites! What a change, totally the most shocking treatment of the Players Club patrons. I booked over the 2023 New Year weekend for a short vacation. I went to cash in my 12000 points on my Players Card and was blocked by the Casino. They said they were updating their system, but found out the most shady practice I have never seen before. My points should have been redeemed for $120 free play was reduced to $25 . My player level dropped to the second level, I was on the 2nd highest level for years. The Casino decided to wipe out all perks and benefits from 2020 to 2022, thinking people are stupid enough to allow this to happen and still want our business and Slot play. I don't think so !! Based on some of the photos that people have taken with their camera in a hotel, the first thing that I saw was bedbugs. I would not stay here if that was an issue, and the review of some of the room showed bedbugs and that's scary. As far as going into the casino, it is fairly large and it looks like they got a couple places that would be cool to hang out but man that bedbug thing is making me itch just thinking about it, hopefully they cleaned up their act. My mom and tia stayed in a non smoking room and got charged for smoking. THEY DONT EVEN SMOKE!!! Front desk kept saying it's a third party that they use to detect if ppl smoke in the room. $400 smoking fee! Absolute bullshit!! They weren't in the room at the time of the apparent smoking. And of course they couldnt do anything to help, so now we have to dispute and go thru more bullshit to get this fixed. Our family stays at Edgewater and Aquarius every summer. Never again. Nice Room Arrival at the hotel was less than friendly. We pulled up in front to go check in and the valet made it very clear we could not park there so I parked in a zone not too far from the entrance and we walked in. After checking in, I pulled the car up to the front door and we took our bags out of the car to bring to our room after I parked the car. No sooner do I have the rear hatch open to pull our bags, Mr. Annoying Valet is there telling me I can't do what I was doing. Clearly, he wanted me to use him for valet and bellman service which I don't want or need. So I ignored him and did so every time I went to the entrance during the next three days to pick up my wife as she is unable to walk far. Get a clue hotels - your valet and bellman service is your first chance to welcome or disappoint your guests. Check-in was fast and the elevators even faster. As were mid week travelers and guessing that the hotel had few guests, I asked if we could be put into a room overlooking the river. No problem as long as we paid $20 additional per night. No way, especially since I was only paying $21.38 per night. And as I found out from housekeeping staff during our stay, occupancy during our stay was very low - loads of waterfront rooms were unused. This is a budget friendly hotel that offers very clean, updated, large rooms, but no mini-fridge as most places have. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very quiet. Daily housekeeping was appreciated with new towels daily. The daily resort fee ($64.14 for 3 days) is a joke especially when the weather is too cool to use an outdoor pool and the only other 'resort' amenity is a miniature fitness center, but this is a standard fee in many hotels now as a way to generate additional revenue. The hotel does have several dining options. We tried PT's Express for some drinks and snacks. $5 tap beers were nice. The Mozzarella Sticks and the Chicken Caesar Salad ($13.00) were very good. I also tried Capriotti's Sandwich Shop for a Grilled Italian Sub (Medium, 10 inch, $12.00). The flavor of the sandwich was very good and it was made fresh while I waited, but I feel the price is too high for the amount of ingredients in the sandwich. The three options for parking are valet, free open parking lot, and free parking garage. The lot is not far from the entrance, but it is a bit of a walk - too far for people with walkers or limited mobility. The parking garage is even further way and I wouldn't consider it at all and I am a regular walker. The first thing you notice about the casino is they allow smoking and the ventilation is not that good. There is a smaller non-smoking section for a healthier option. The casino is primarily slot machines and as we do play slots at other casinos we found these machines to be comparable as far as payouts. Sign up for the True Rewards Program and as a new member you will get some free play. If they offer gamblers complimentary drinks while playing, I never saw a cocktail server wandering the casino floor during our time there. We visited several other casinos and the cocktail servers were plentiful. This could explain why so many people were playing games at the bars. In summary, this hotel offers a nice room at a budget price, has nice views onto the river, several dining options, plenty of gaming, has easy in/out off of Casino Drive and is close to all the other casinos. Ok... so if you get rooms comped ... it's hard to complain. But there has to be a basic standard. The rooms are in DESPERATE need of deep cleaning. The corners of the rooms baseboards and carpets need feel cleaning. The beds are nothing special... it's a bed. The sheets are clean so that's good. Bathroom is basic but it was cleaned and sanitized. The rooms are like a motel 6, don't expect a lot. But if you need a place to sleep and take a shower it works. read more

This is an older hotel/ casino. You come here to either gamble or hit the lake with your water toys. The rooms are very basic but both of our rooms were very clean! We all brought our own pillows and after reading other reviews, Chlorex wipes but we didn't need them. All the staff was very friendly and the pool was nice too. If you want glamour go to Vegas or the Aquarius down street looked more modern. The river walk connecting all the hotels is really nice. I would stay here again. read more

Check in was easy and friendly! That's where the good ends! The casino floor, hallways and elevators are filthy! Then we arrived at our room. The bathroom is dirty and the shower is the worst! I had holes in my bedding and and everything is dusty! The remote was visually broken which means they don't even wipe the side table or remote down. They don't offer daily services so we had to request shower towels. Not friendly at all when you ask. I will say the person who delivered the towels and remote was very friendly! Sure, the Edge is old and a bit rundown, but we book there 5 times a year for a week each time. We are former Colorado Belle'rs and got shifted to this hotel when it was shut down in 2020. Although we really like Aquarius, we stay here because of the huge parking lot that accommodates our large boat for our summer trips. The slot selection isn't the best, but we've accumulated some nice wins here. We know much of the staff and they are always friendly and happy to see us. Rooms need some updating but have been clean when we arrive. Housekeeping is friendly also. And, if you want drink service on the floor, this is the place. You'll wait a long time at Aquarius, probably because the floor is so much bigger. read more

I would have given it 5 stars because the price was so low and the room looked very nice at first glance. Given the price I'd say this is a good stay if you're on a budget. Pros: 1) Price is really low. 2) The rooms are nice considering the low price. I was impressed with how nice the room looked when I entered. It looked 5 stars at first glance. I was expecting worse since we only paid $15 a night. 3) It's pretty spacious. 4) Since we came off season they upgraded us to a river view and a remodeled room for free. 5) Great customer service. Very nice people. Cons: 1) Beds are not very comfortable. They are very firm. I prefer soft beds. My husband likes firm beds so he liked the bed. I couldn't sleep comfortably. They appear to be comfortable until you sleep in them. 2) The bathrooms are a nightmare. Taking a shower here feels icky and very third world. It's a stand up shower with a flimsy curtain. There is no separation from the shower to the rest of the bathroom. The whole floor gets wet. I don't ever take baths when on vacation but it's nice to have the space. I have a baby and I bring my travel tub for her but there was no bathtub to put it in. We did it on the bathroom floor which felt gross and it flooded the floor when we emptied the water. Whoever designed this did a terrible job. The showers are so uncomfortable. It feels like you're taking a shower in a closet. It's awful. Just awful. I felt claustrophobic in there. I usually look forward to my daily showers because it's relaxing and I love being clean. Here I dread my shower time. It feels so dirty and uncomfortable. I really hate this shower design. They should have at least separated the shower floor and the bathroom floor. This really was an issue for me. Tip: They are very strict about masks so make sure it's on correctly or the staff will get on your case, which is understandable given Covid. *If it wasn't for the bathroom I'd give this place 4-5 stars given the low prices. This review is only for the bar top at the main bar facing the river. The bartenders are friendly and they were very tentative to bringing us our drinks. But, on the weekend that we went it was not busy at all. I always get a strawberry daiquiri to honor my grandmother every time we go to Laughlin. And, the strawberry daiquiris were perfectly made at this bar. The restrooms were clean but, I never saw anyone going around and wiping down the machines or the video poker at the bar. We never stayed in the rooms here, but we have eaten at the restaurants in this casino and they were all good. The only negative about gambling at this bar top is that we seem to never win nor have I ever seen anyone else win. We have better luck on other table top poker machines or slot machines. read more

I play bingo there every time I go to Laughlin . I normally have a great time, but this time was different. I went to 2 sessions on Monday night. The 5 was great. The 9 was a different story, there was a worker dressed in a different uniform ( assuming a manager) brandi just as rude as can be . She talked to her coworkers like they were stupid . Made it very uncomfortable! She was yelling (barking ) out numbers there's microphones for a reason . Just very unprofessional and not good face for the company! read more

I had not been for a few years to this casino, with that said, I was not prepared for what I got, I am disabled on a scooter and the way everything, yes I mean everything makes it very difficult for someone disabled and yes even workers, the machine tech named Alma felt the same. And did report our conversations, and came back with a response of they are redecorating, okay fair enough, but at the point of theyre redecoration could they have offered me and everyone first. the option of the sister casino next door. The carpet was horribly in need of a good wash. I best get good room comps next month, lol so I will stay in the other casino instead. The good stuff, Dennys! A way to stay on your diet if you wanna. Don't do it. The Edgewater is way past its prime and needs to be torn down. We booked a 2 night stay and check-in was ok. Get to the 2nd floor room and is where everything went downhill. The shower was a nightmare! It looked like it had not been changed in over 30 years! It was so dirty, black and pieces of the floor were broken splintering up! No joke. The window sill was filthy and the overall room just smelled of dirt. I told my wife nope we are not staying in this room, so I went back down and demanded another room. The next room was only marginally better. The shower still looked like from the 80s, though it wasn't as black and it actually had a complete floor. We braved through it. No bed bugs thankfully, but the room was not very clean. About the ONLY redeeming factor is the Dunkin inside the casino. Otherwise stay far-far away from this place. read more

My husband and I are Elite members and due to all the Horrible Customer Service from the Staff members like they have a fridge for Elite members to get sodas and so on , every time someone goes in the older ladys make remakes like can't wait for them to get rid of this fridge. Really , I don't drink alcohol so where basically paying for rudeness. No longer. We've started to play else where. They don't honor your free stays if your a married couple they try to just use one of your free items between the two of you. It always the snide remarks and rudeness don't have to pay and play for rudeness. The machines I always have to clean them to play. They have security and troopers all over you feel like you're in prison not out for the night. Over all it's left a bad mark. I would t suggest this Casino to anyone. I hadn't been to the Edgewater or Laughlin for 25 yrs. It's changed. For the worst! The whole property felt grungy and dirty. It was primarily full of homeless looking locals who are gambling alcoholics. I didn't feel safe in the casino. Most employees were rude and did not care. I will never return. Also, I saw the Little River Band in concert at the Edgewater's Show Venue. It was the worst show I ever seen. Not one original member plays and they sounded NOTHJNG close to the original. The lead singer was awful. They weren't even good enough to be considered a tribute band. Rippp offfff. I will do good research from now on. Pass on laughlin and go straight to Vegas. 1000% better there. read more

We stayed at the Edgewater for two nights and I don't have much to complain about the room and bathroom were clean, beds comfy,and staff was friendly except for the guy who brought our luggage to the room. I stayed one night at Edgewater recently, and was overall pleased with all they had to offer. The rooms, although a little out dated and older, was still very clean and well furnished with amenities and extra supplies such as pillows, blankets, cots, & coffee. Most staff were pretty cordial, but not overly friendly. During my visit, 1 out of 2 elevators was broken, and the 1 working one temporarily was down, causing us to have to use the stairs. Customer service is horrible! When checking out, we were charged a smoking fee in the no smoking room... Then it was credited back, saying it was a mistake. We waited 3 days for the $75 deposit to come back and it never did. My husband called The Edgewater over 3 times about this and we're given the run around. We waited to see if deposit came back. After 7 days, we called back. They told us we tripped an alarm in their non smoking room. We don't smoke! And they were taking our $75 deposit. The lady my husband spoke to was very rude! She kept cutting him off, talking over him. I asked to speak to her. She talked over me, shouted at me, interrupted me, then hung up on me. I called back, asking for the higher up. I was questioned who I spoke with, and had to wait for over 2 mins, listening to her breathe. I was then transferred to Cheyenne! I explained everything, she too cut me of and interrupted me, talked over me. My husband took the phone and she was yelling at him and would not let him speak. We ended up hanging up. Woke up the first night with bed bugs, yes i complained...and got a so called discount off the room for $17 off the resort fees and they allowed me to swich rooms. Next night, watched a bed bug crawl on the other bed in my room, and Spoke to the manager, and the manager had a bad attitude. I actually caught the bed bug and the manager acts like it my fault. The manger she said they have to investigate it. Wtf. Its a bed bug and i brought it to you in a package. How can a hotel say this is actually normal? Step up your game Edgewater...y'all suck and i never got compensated for the inconvenience. Edgewater should be ashamed, what an embarrassment.
