Some employees were very friendly and helpful, while others weren't welcoming at all. Unfortunately, the rooms were terrible and clearly lacked proper cleaning. The room immediately gave me the heebie-jeebies. There were strands of hair all over the bathroom, the vents were caked with dust, the carpets were filthy, and the walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was also a strong odor in the room that management appeared to be trying to cover up with an overpowering deodorizer, but it only made the room more unpleasant. The sinks and toilets were dirty, the refrigerator barely stayed cold, and the air conditioner never cooled the room enough to be comfortable. The pool was dirty, overcrowded, and not enjoyable. The drinks were also extremely overpriced--$17 for a drink that definitely wasn't worth the cost. The casino was another disappointment. The amount of cigarette smoke combined with poor ventilation was overwhelming and gave me a headache. One experience that really concerned me involved my 10-year-old nephew. He hurt himself while we were at the pool, and when we asked a staff member for an alcohol pad, we were told they didn't have any. I couldn't understand how a hotel with a pool wouldn't have basic first-aid supplies readily available. After my brother found another employee, we were finally given two alcohol pads, but it shouldn't have taken that much effort. If it had just been my husband and me, we would have packed up and driven the four hours back home or found another hotel. Since we were traveling with our children, we decided to make the best of it. I ended up wiping down the room and bathroom with bleach wipes myself and told the kids to keep their shoes on the entire time because I didn't feel comfortable with the cleanliness of the room. One final thing that made our stay uncomfortable was the number of stares we received for being Black. I can't say what anyone was thinking, but we had several moments that made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment and nowhere near worth the price. Between the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, poor first-aid preparedness, uncomfortable atmosphere, and overall experience, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

I had used this same service twice in the last year--one trip on return was not satisfactory. I gave them a second chance and it went better. The Thrifty ice cream stand on the way out is a must stop before heading home. We first came here when were still tourists staying at the Avi or other Laughlin casinos. It was a cool reprieve from the heat during summer and a warm respite during winter. We often use Kids Quest down the hall for daycare so it was a one stop shop for us. While not as "plush" as the theaters at the Riverside with its swing away tables, the chairs were comfy and had pull up arm rests for snuggling or just having your little one rest his weary head on your lap. The prices are fair and the pretzels and popcorn are good. The drink prices are are bargain since the difference between a medium and large is only $0.50. It's pretty much standard fare as far as movie theaters go, meaning occasional sticky floors or loud kids or kicks on the back of your seat. The sound system is good, but on a couple of occasions, they could have turned it down just a notch. The screens are bright and the stairs are easily navigated with the lights out with LED light guides. There are ADA accessible seats up front. The heating and AC work well at keeping the temp just right. The Brenden Avi8 has become a comfortable friend for new releases that my kids look forward to coming to and it's taught my youngest one, who is 6, to sit still and watch a movie (he couldn't do that before). For a matinee or night out with the family, the Brenden Avi8 is our go to as the crowd is more chill than the Riverside and it's a lot closer to home. But the Thrifty ice cream on the way out doesn't hurt either...

I am giving it a 3 star which considering the site we were given is a generous rating. Roads are grated dirt, no gravel but they are wide. There is a new dog park. Many of the sites have added covers or additions. Some of these are good but others are really junky as are some lots. Perhaps, no rules? Laundry room is in poor condition. We parked in a motorhome with 3 slides. Our site might have worked for a trailer or a 5th wheel but was not accommodating for a motorhome. A tree prevented us from going farther forward or farther back to the raised concrete pad which was too high for our auto-steps. Farther back and the electric pedestal would have prevented the slide from going out. As one person indicated getting into this site was like putting thread thru a needle. Our awning? Well, you certainly couldn't put that out with all the tree branches. Going in and out the door was like going thru a jungle. We found people to be nice but we were more than ready to leave. Many sites need to be reconfigured. Price is low which is probably main reason people stay here.
