First of all, the whole casino is small but its quaint, it looks remodeled and new and CLEAN, all machines are new and working, it smells nice no smoking, restrooms were clean, we ate there, and food was good, and LARGE tv's all around!!!! (6 months preggo…read moreand 3 very opinionated teens) When we walked into the lobby it was very clean, of course it smelled like smoke, its a casino for gods sake! Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. Oh, there only seemed to be luggage carts for those who were parking in valet, that part kinda sucked. We were also a ahirt distance from a gas station, Mc donalds, Starbucks and a few grocery markets. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and will def be visiting again.

They were friendly, professional, and incredibly fast every time we needed them. They were easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was another story. The carpet throughout the room had numerous stains, including what appeared to be a large red stain near the bed. The room felt so dirty that I didn't even want my bare feet touching the floor. We ended up sleeping on top of the blankets because we weren't comfortable enough to sleep in the bedding. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub barely drained, leaving standing water while showering. The bathroom exhaust fan was caked with dust, there was visible mildew or mold-like staining near the toilet plumbing, chipped paint and cracks around the bathroom door frame, and gaps around the shower fixture where it wasn't properly sealed. The cleanliness throughout the room was disappointing. The TV remote was covered in dust, the furniture had a noticeable layer of dust, there was dirt and debris behind the furniture, and even the ice bucket had visible residue inside. Overall, it felt like the room hadn't received a thorough cleaning in quite some time. For what this resort charges, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The property has a great location and friendly valet staff, but management really needs to invest more in housekeeping and room upkeep. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

Ride direct to gas up at their gas station before a ride no need to take gas cans. Tipping driver is optional but we always did due to great service. It can be a lil noisy due to ohv rolling thru only in the pull thru site area nothing to concerning - if your used to Glamis/Dumont noise then Avi is quiet-Camping rates are reasonably priced- good customer service. Many of the sites have added covers or additions. Some of these are good but others are really junky as are some lots. Perhaps, no rules? Laundry room is in poor condition. We parked in a motorhome with 3 slides. Our site might have worked for a trailer or a 5th wheel but was not accommodating for a motorhome. A tree prevented us from going farther forward or farther back to the raised concrete pad which was too high for our auto-steps. Farther back and the electric pedestal would have prevented the slide from going out. As one person indicated getting into this site was like putting thread thru a needle. Our awning? Well, you certainly couldn't put that out with all the tree branches. Going in and out the door was like going thru a jungle. We found people to be nice but we were more than ready to leave. Many sites need to be reconfigured. Price is low which is probably main reason people stay here.
