Absolutely disgusting We decided to go watch a movie to kill some time and it was awful Customer service was so bad Then the theater we sat in was still dirty from the last showing Popcorn and soda spilled all over the floors. The seats were sticky. It was absolutely disgusting. We found the best seats that we could find but then these young kids couldn't be any older than maybe 12 kept coming in and out of the theater the whole entire time making so much noise, kicking our seats they were told by different people to be quiet to knock it off because they were being so disruptive no parents around at all. I don't understand how the theater is letting kids in without supervision to watch a movie. It was absolutely ridiculous. I would never go again, and I would never suggest somebody go there! read more

We make it a point that on opening weekend for new kids' movie releases, we take the kids here. There is a Sbaro pizza and Subway on the way, so the kids can get a "real meal" before the movie or one after. The Thrifty ice cream stand on the way out is a must stop before heading home. We first came here when were still tourists staying at the Avi or other Laughlin casinos. It was a cool reprieve from the heat during summer and a warm respite during winter. We often use Kids Quest down the hall for daycare so it was a one stop shop for us. While not as "plush" as the theaters at the Riverside with its swing away tables, the chairs were comfy and had pull up arm rests for snuggling or just having your little one rest his weary head on your lap. The prices are fair and the pretzels and popcorn are good. The drink prices are are bargain since the difference between a medium and large is only $0.50. It's pretty much standard fare as far as movie theaters go, meaning occasional sticky floors or loud kids or kicks on the back of your seat. The sound system is good, but on a couple of occasions, they could have turned it down just a notch. The screens are bright and the stairs are easily navigated with the lights out with LED light guides. There are ADA accessible seats up front. The heating and AC work well at keeping the temp just right. The Brenden Avi8 has become a comfortable friend for new releases that my kids look forward to coming to and it's taught my youngest one, who is 6, to sit still and watch a movie (he couldn't do that before). For a matinee or night out with the family, the Brenden Avi8 is our go to as the crowd is more chill than the Riverside and it's a lot closer to home. But the Thrifty ice cream on the way out doesn't hurt either... read more

I really looked forward to my family's mini vacation but was disappointed. The rooms weren't very clean and two of our dresser drawers were broken so they never closed completely. The water also came out brown. My son asked at the front desk and was told that was normal. While walking down our hallway one afternoon, there was a pile of poop. The resort stated not pet friendly. My son thought it was human feces but Im pretty sure it was dog poop. Also the remote had a choice for Netflix but didn't work. When I asked, the lady was a little rude saying they dont have streaming sevices. Funny that the remote had the option. I did like the kids quest. My grandkids had fun there. The pools were sadly always murky. They didn't look clean. The beach access was nice. All in all, I wouldn't stay again. read more

This place continues to be a great little escape for me while staying at Avi. I always try to make sure to see at least one movie while I'm staying here. This trip was no exception. The movie times start as early as 10am but don't think you are going to go to the late show at this theater as I found out. The last showing they have for the day is about 7:10 or so. So, plan on going early. We went to the 6:30pm showing of Red Tails and it was $9.50 a person. Not cheap but not bad about as much as I'm used to in the home town. I think they give you a break for the matinee and if you're a senior so check into that if you are going. Stadium seating so it's probably the newest type of theater in the area. Just saw "Black Panther" or at least tried. I got to at least hear the movie. The brightness was so bad all detail of the movie was lost. Was that Laurence Fishburne or Redd Foxx? I don't know because the face was impossible to see. Unless the scene was filmed in direct outdoor light all characters of African descent were nothing more then a black spot with teeth. I ask for the staff to remedy the situation, they said they understood and would do something about it but nothing changed...... Hundred million plus spent on sets and visuals all lost due to the incompetence of Brenden Theaters #8. Trained professional actors? I don't know, couldn't tell. Impossible to critique an actor when you can't see their face. Brenden Theaters you owe the Director, the actors, the set designers and everyone in that theatre an apology. read more

Staying at the Avi Casino and decided to see a movie tonight, the new Tomb Raider. The theater is at the end of a hall in kind of a strange location. The decor is definitely dated, could use an update. I know that at least one of the theaters they advertise as theirs no longer operates. Popcorn on the floors down the hallway to the screen, so in general seemed a little unkempt. The staff were all polite, only took 4-5 minutes to get our tickets and concessions. Fairly good selection of items. Decent pricing--two tickets, kids pack, and a large soda were about $30. Fairly standard fare for the movies. Biggest issue was with the theater/movie experience. When we walked into Screen 8 it smelled funny, kind of musty. The seats were okay. We sat in the front row to put our feet up in the bars--don't recommend if you're short (I'm 5'2" and I couldn't reach without slouching in my chair). During the previews there was one instance of a good 30 seconds of black screen before another preview came on and a couple of the previews seemed shrunken down, like they hadn't been sized to fit the screen. Lastly, the top of the screen seemed to have a tear or really bad stain near the middle which was very distracting (once you see it, you can't unsee it, you know?). Obviously if I'm staying here and want to see a movie, I'll come here. But I wouldn't make a special trip. There's a reason why I prefer to go to an AMC or Cinemark theater. read more

This is the best cinema in the Laughlin/Bullhead City area. It's modern. The screen and sound quality is solid. The seats are comfortable, and most importantly, its stadium seating. They have good concession stands and clean bathrooms. Its definitely worth the extra 10 minute drive to come see a movie here than the theaters around casino drive. If its a new/popular film, they will almost certainly have it. read more

Clean and well maintained facilities. Definitely surprising since the Avi Hotel and Casino is quite dated. Comfortable chairs and great escape on a hot summer afternoon. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not busy at all so there were plenty of open seats even though we showed up right when the movie started. read more

Went to see Avengers:Infinity War. The overall look of the theater was fine but the concessions were awful. A third of my popcorn was hulls and the tiny bits you usually get at the bottom of the bag. Also the sodas were watered down. I was highly disappointed. read more

Staff is great, theaters are very nice, I'm giving this place one star because of their policy on refilling drinks. Was told at first that the theater I was in did not have the air conditioner working so see how it feels first. Thought it was ok as long as I had a drink. So I bought a small popcorn and drink combo. Got done pretty fast and rushed out to get a refill. Girl informs me that I wasn't allowed to get one with the small drink!!! I used to work in a restaurant. Soda syrup costs absolutely nothing. It's pure profit. Not allowing people to get free refills in 99% of establishments in America is unheard of. Europe and other foreign countries is a different story, but even then, they're probably just being ignorant as well. 8 screens at the casino wow wow wow. Who woulda thought that a casino would have an 8 screen stadium seating top running movies over here in the middle of nowhere at Laughlin. Well they do here its a clean facility real nice, the chairs are comfy, and the snack bar looks pretty good, but I was so full after dinner at moon shadow in the casino. Thought I'd speed up the process by buying our tickets on my phone, but was told the tickets could only be redeemed at the ticket counter when I went to show the ticket taker. This theater has comfortable seating and the place is clean. The problem is that for some reason the movie was dark, so dark it was hard to see the actor's faces. We were in theater 6, not sure if this is usual here? If so, I would not recommend seeing a movie here. A great place to catch a movie. Seating is comfy and its always clean. Movie theater prices in general are very pricey especially for a family of 5. After placing our popcorn and soda order the cashier was nice enough to explain a discount combo that saved us $10. We will definitely be back! read more
