It was an insurance job and the owners upstairs brought in Hay Runner. They showed up when they said they would. They were all professional and did what they said they would do and the repair was of the quality I would have done. We are redoing our bathroom and are considering using them for the job. Engaged for a 8 month renovation, Hay Runner provided a certificate of substantial completion after over 19 months and billed 50% over their estimated cost. Throughout the project Hay Runner refused to provide basic project information (schedule, budget to actual updates, subcontracts, vendor invoices, etc) and provided inaccurate updates on status/timing of the project. Rather than provide such information, Hay Runner threatened to walk off the project. This pattern of behavior unfortunately starts at the top with the aggressive behavior of its owner, Shannon Richards.
