The project was completed from beginning to end with a high degree of conscientiousness toward quality and care for the overall property. The crew arrived early, worked in a highly productive manner throughout the day, finished each day leaving roof in a no risk protected condition from potential rain or wind and did not leave until all personnel participated in a thorough clean up of debris, including magnetic screening of lawn, gardens and driveways for nails. I have done construction projects in the past, know building codes and felt the crew met/exceeded my expectations. Their crew repeatedly tried to cut corners, and if I hadn't been watching closely, they would have left me with subpar results. The most concerning part was that they attempted to charge me an extra $3,500 for work that was never actually done. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of me, and I had to call them out multiple times to get things corrected. In the end they still charge me an additional $1000 for an extra hour or 2 of work and a couple 4x4s in supplies. To top it off, someone from the company even offered me $250 in exchange for a positive review -- which makes me question the legitimacy of all their 5-star ratings online. I went with Mandette Roofing Plus because of their great reviews, but after my experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution. An honest human being would have warned us about the issues prior to starting the project. I agree with reviewer Paul C. that Christer's sales skills are effective but duplicitous. As with others, this was a "lesson learned" moment for me and my wife. 1) The paint job is terrible. Roughly, after two years, you can see the old paint job through the "new" paint job. A couple of spots were missed, which is totally understandable. However, I requested a "walk through" 3 times. Never got one. 2) The craftsmanship is inconsistent--some spots are good, whereas other are mediocre and sloppy. 3) Unprofessional: precautions were not taken to avoid dirt and such being tracked into the house. Moreover, work done in a bedroom involving dry wall never included covering up the bedroom furniture! It never occurred to them that dry wall dust was all over a child's bedding, clothing, and toys!! The effort to clean-up the work done in and around the house was terrible and sloppy. After talking to many in our neighborhood, their experiences with other contractors were far more positive and successful than ours with Mattsson.

I asked them to move and they wouldn't. Then called the company and the person who answered the phone didn't even try to appear to be sympathetic. I'm about tired of every construction or contracted company parking in this handicapped spot. Ableist, and unforgivable. People with disabilities shouldn't have to beg able bodied people not to park in disability parking. Find another company.
