I chose Martin's because it was close to home and convenient. I took my car to Martin's where a tech made notes on the damage and took several photo's. I was told by the tech that he would send the estimate to the insurance. The insurance rep told me that they would contact Martin's to get a copy of the estimate as well. It's been over a week and four requests to Martin's from the insurance company for the estimate with no response from Martin's. My damaged vehicle cannot be repaired until a copy of the estimate is sent from Martin's. They ether don't care or just don't want the business.

We were given other bids around the same amount by multiple companies so we decided to go here since it was closer. After 4 days we still hadn't heard anything and so we called in. The response was that they hoped to have it done that day and they would call us. At the end of the day they called and said it would be another 2 days before it was done. 2 days later we still hadn't heard anything so we called back in. Same response that they hoped to have it done that day and would call us as soon as it was done. The NEXT day we received a call at 5:50pm saying we could come pick it up as it was done but they close at 6pm. So we picked the car up the next morning and the final bill was over $4,400!! Not once did I receive a phone call explaining that it was going to be more or why. Not once did they proactively call me to tell me they wouldn't be done on time and not once did they ever ask if the additional services they performed (that more than doubled the bid amount) was something I wanted them to do. And to top it all off two days later we had to take the car back in and they had it for a day while they took it to the dealership in Salt Lake City to get the camera calibrated, because they replaced a mirror that didn't need to be replaced and didn't calibrate the cameras (and I would have rather not paid $1,700 for a new mirror. But had I been asked if this was something I wanted done I could have told them no). The day I went in to discuss this with the general manager they were all in a training and when I asked to have someone call me back I still haven't received a phone call. Not once have I received an explanation of why I was charged more than twice the bid amount and I have never received an apology. Do not use this company. There are many other choices around and I wish that I would have used anyone else.
