I actually found Harmony Estate by chance through a wedding photographer's Instagram. It was the last venue we toured after a long weekend of searching, and they really did save the best for last. The property is tucked into what feels like a residential area, but once you drive through the gates, it's absolutely beautiful. We wanted a venue where our family and friends could stay together and where everything could happen in one place, and Harmony Estate had that and so much more. The house has four bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, large living spaces, a huge kitchen, entertainment areas, and separate bride and groom getting-ready spaces. It isn't overly fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, spacious, and perfect for what we needed. One of the biggest reasons we chose Harmony Estate was how much is included. Catering, plated dinner, planner, day-of coordinator, photo booth, bartenders, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception space, and even the option to have your rehearsal dinner on property are all available. We could also bring our own alcohol, which was a HUGE plus. The only vendors we had to hire separately were our florist, photographer, and videographer. Having almost everything handled through the venue was such a stress reliever. Another huge selling point was being able to party until midnight! So many venues around San Diego/Temecula/Murrieta have to end around 10 because of noise restrictions. Since the reception is inside the barn, we were able to keep dancing until 12. That last hour dancing with my husband and best friends was honestly one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend. The property itself is gorgeous. Even though we unfortunately had a heat wave, by our 5 PM ceremony the trees provided a lot of shade. The waterfall makes such a beautiful ceremony backdrop, cocktail hour in the backyard feels intimate and homey, and the barn is truly the star of the show. The chandeliers were exactly what I had envisioned for our wedding, and we loved mixing farm tables with round tables. I was a little nervous beforehand because I hadn't seen many reviews mentioning the food or DJ, and music and food are two of my husband's favorite things. BOTH blew us away. The DJ was amazing, friendly, and happy to switch things up whenever we wanted. And the FOOD!! The chef absolutely killed it all weekend. We had tacos at the rehearsal dinner, sliders, meatballs, bruschetta, and ceviche during cocktail hour, and steak with chicken Alfredo for dinner. Everything was SO good. The steak was like butter, and people are still texting us about the food! The staff was also incredible. Owners Gilbert and Cassie were so kind and easy to communicate with through GroupMe. Renee, the property manager, was the person who originally showed us around and helped sell us on the venue--he is unbelievably kind and helpful. Brittany, our planner, helped us plan everything and kept the day running smoothly. Lorrayne, our day-of coordinator, was by my side throughout the wedding day and was AMAZING. She calmed my nerves, advocated for me when I wanted my hair changed, and made sure we were taken care of. After the ceremony, the staff even brought my husband and me food and drinks so we could have a quiet moment together. My biggest recommendation: BOOK THE HOUSE FOR THE DAY AFTER YOUR WEDDING! The pool is unreal, and we spent basically the entire next day in it. It was the perfect way to end the weekend. I genuinely cannot recommend Harmony Estate enough. We loved every second of our wedding weekend, and this property will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We already hope we can come back someday for a family reunion--and, of course, spend another day in that pool!

However, I am leaving this review to help other brides if you do choose this venue I would recommend getting an outside photographer. The photographer Geronimo was very unprofessional and his photos are extremely low quality for the price you pay. We decided to go with Harmony Estates photography company, which was a huge mistake. He didn't adjust his IOS on his camera for going inside so most of the photos inside are grainy. All color is off and the quality is just poor. There is also a bunch of blurry photos, like for example our first kiss is literally out of focus. He was so focused on taking photos of our hands during the end of the ceremony that he completely missed our first kiss. I don't know about you but I'd rather have my first kiss with my husband rather than photos of our hands. I also made it very clear to everyone that I wanted to take all my photos ahead of the ceremony so I was ready to go 2 hours before the ceremony but still sticking to the schedule the venue created for me. The photographer was then an hour behind because "he got lost in the creativity of doing the detail shots" which by the way were all pretty bad lighting and poor quality. So it's hard for me to believe he spent that long on the detail shots. When I asked where he had been or why we weren't on schedule he told me (the bride by the way) that they don't stick to the schedule they just send it complementary or as a "guideline". As a bride who is very reliant on a schedule I found this to not only be rude but disrespectful to me the bride who is paying for this day to happen in the first place. He said he wants to take more photos after the ceremony which we then had to anyways because there wasn't any time due to him taking forever to do detail shots. I also was sitting for an hour waiting to walk down the aisle and they came up and asked me if I still wanted to start on time as if I hadn't been waiting on the venue to start. Other than that instance with the photographer and the delayed start of the wedding the rest of the evening was perfect and they did an amazing job setting up the decor, bar tending and the Dj was fantastic. The aftermath following the wedding was extremely frustrating as well. First we were waiting on our security deposit for 3 months. No one was answering, or they kept saying they will "check on it". They finally just venmoed us because it was taking forever for them to mail it. We were also waiting on the remainder of our edited photos for those 3 months, so when I asked where they were the owner finally responded and said she had a death in the family and of course we were extremely understanding. I do wish that someone reached out instead of us having to but again we were very understand and patient. Two months later we got the rest of the edited photos which I had to ask to be edited multiple times due to how grainy they were and how some photos were super dark and some super light and some are super orange. The owner just said it's because of where the photos were taken but I have a degree in film and it's simply because the photographer didn't know what he was doing with his camera settings and the editing was orangey and inconsistent. We paid $3500 for photos and I think anyone with a camera could've taken they are not "professional" or edited professionally at all. We also were very adamant about every payment to the venue and even tipped each staff member after the wedding but it felt as if after my wedding and they got our money that we were not a priority for anyone. I hope they hire some professional photographers for other brides sakes and the owners work on delegating to their employees and communication to clients. I added just a few examples of the photos.

We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Please do your homework and do your research about this venue before booking!…read more First of, our son and daughter in law booked this venue way too early, like a year and half before their wedding date. Although it is a pretty venue, the communication from their staffing is horrible!!! They don't return phone calls or emails after they get your booking. My husband and I wanted to get involved prior to our son's booking, but our son is 27 yrs old. We thought he's old enough to handle doing business with this venue. Wrong! This venue knows how to up-sale about their property. They know that young brides and grooms are emotional. They capture on that emotion and tells you anything to get the booking. Lisa, the manager couldn't careless after she received the deposit and final payments. I've called and left numerous messages multiple times with the venue staffers that I needed to speak to Lisa. Not once did she ever returned my phone calls. On the day of the wedding, as the mother of the groom, I was served pizza!!! Our son asked about a special menu for vegetarians, pescatarians and vegans. During the sales pitch, their salesperson told our son and his bride that there wasn't any issues making special meals for those guests, me being one of them. Can you believe the nerve of this venue served me pizza on the day of the wedding??? Before the wedding, our son and his bride did the food testing. They were told no one else could come to do the food tasting. Mind you, we were the ones that paid for this venue. Our daughter in law forwarded me an email from the venue, by their chef, that no one else could come to the food tasting. Anyhow, not only myself was given pizza, our other 2 guests were also served pizza. Mind you, there were only 3 guests total that had a special dietary restriction. I was so embarrassed and horrified. I had to tell my aunt and the bride's grandmother weren't notified ahead that the venue was serving individual pizzas to dietary guests. The venue could at least offered some sort of vegetables or couscous, but nope, nothing!!!!! I can give you a very long list, but I'll only give 3. Number 1: Food wasn't cracked up to be. Even their regular menu like the basic of chicken and red meat, was real bad. Number 2: We paid for a Photo Booth thru the venue. The photo booth folks never showed up. Although the venue refunded the money, but all was lost of having our guests take pictures for memories are long gone. Luckily we paid for good photographers (like 4 photographers+videographers). They were able to capture some moments of our families and guests. Number 3: We had wedding crashers! The venue told our son they will have 3 security guards on the wedding dat. We saw none, not only 1 insight. These wedding crashers had the gall to eat cakes, ordered alcohol at the bar and joined our guests on the dance floor!!! Mind you we paid for a premium package which included open bars. Our daughter in law contacted the venue to let them know about all these issues, they didn't offered any compensation or some sort of refunds accept for the photo booth that never showed up. We have 2 other children. We'll never use this venue going forward. We told all of our friends about this venue. A lot of them were at the wedding, so they too know not to book this venue for their own children's weddings. This venue isn't worth mentioning their names. Lake Oak Meadows is pretty but not worth your money to book. There's plenty of beautiful venues around. So please, please ask questions, do comparison before booking. Don't let them tell you that they've a special going on and if you don't book right then and there that you'll loose the deal. It's not worth your money!

It took about 20-30 for us to be served our tea and lemonade. After that we are waiting for our finger foods (which on the advertisement they stated it would be sweet and savory). They did not bring our bites until 12:30! Meaning it took an hour and a half for them to bring a small tray of croissants, cupcakes and cookies! I was so confused as to why it took so long to serve.. I mean clearly almost everything was premade besides the little basic finger sandwiches (and it was taking a long time for everyone, because we were listening to all the little girls around us complaining of how hungry they were). So finally we get ours and instead of getting ham & cheese sandwiches like everyone around us, they gave us chicken salad sandwiches which the kids did not want at all. I ate them because at this point I am super hungry and getting a headache because i'm also super pregnant. We ask the lady if they have anything else and she said she can make them grilled cheese sandwiches. The main problem was that for the amount of tickets they sold/tables they had.. they were understaffed. There was just one adult (who i'm assuming was the owner) and two kids helping her (i'm guessing her kids). I loved that the kids were serving the tables but it literally took an hour and a half for us to get a super basic tray of snacks and they only came twice to fill our tea. On top of all that, what bothered me the most was there were moms waiting in the waiting room for a solid hour waiting to be seated! Their daughters all dolled up for a cute day with their moms and literally waiting an hour to be seated for something that was supposed to start at 11 am. A lot of the moms were disappointed but what can they say? They don't want to ruin the experience for their daughters. No joke if this was my business i would 100% refund all the moms there. We decided to try out the tour and were very happy that we did…read more Located off the 15 freeway, it is a working ranch in the country side. The ranch is nicely kept, and is on 40 acres. We met Johan and he drove us around on our tour. Super friendly, nice, knowledgeable. We started with feeding the ducks and checking out the giant pond which has some fish and tadpoles to feed the ducks, but we got to feed them some pellet food. It was funny to see the ducks and their pecking order of who got to eat in what order. But it was kind of organized chaos with them trying to eat over the top of each other. Then we got to meet Ranger, 1 of the Great Pyrenees, that keeps an eye on the flock and keeps the coyotes away. Next we got to go over to the Alpacas, Steve was a big one but very standoffish. Ferguson the sheep was a favorite. After the Alpacas we got to see the Turkeys and Chickens. A lot of squawking going on in there. Then we got to feed some goats and a pot belly pig. Those goats are fun, but definitely hungry and devour the feed. Next we passed by their only current cow, but they have some coming back and they will soon have Scottish Highland cows too, so definitely going back for that. We went over to feed carrots to Bruno the donkey. We did not get to feed the little pony, it had allergies and had a face covering. Then we went to the gift shop and got some fun items and reasonable prices, and a dozen farm fresh eggs for $10. Last stop was the chicken coop to see all the chickens laying eggs, that was a unique experience. Especially to see 1 mama chicken leave her eggs and another come in to sit on them and think they were hers. I think when mom came back there was going to be a brawl. Tour was about 90 minutes, it went by very fast. Definitely fun and will go back with other visitors. Plenty of pics posted for you to check out.

At one point, I accidentally dropped my glass of sangria and the wine glass shattered. Philip appeared almost instantly with a broom and took care of everything. Then, without me even asking, he asked what I had been drinking and went and got me a brand-new glass of sangria to replace it. When I thanked him, he simply said, "My pleasure," and you could tell he truly meant it. He genuinely seems to enjoy what he does and taking care of guests.
