Let me start with, I'm horrible at planning anything! My fiancé and I went to view this venue and…read morewhen we tell you we fell in love with how gorgeous it was it's an understatement. The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response which was extremely frustrating. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. Thank you to everyone who helped create our magical day sorry if I was a stressed wreck initially but you guys definitely delivered and made me look good because like I said I can't plan anything accordingly. To see how great it turned out you guys definitely know how to make everything feel perfect. 12.2.21

If you're thinking about proposing at Lake Oak Meadows, it's honestly hard to imagine a more…read morebeautiful setting. It's adjacent to an INCREDIBLE winery. Grab a bottle of their Grand Cuvée Reserve if you want something bubbly or my personal favorite the 17 Dolcetto Reserve (an 88point). MMM baked fruit and toasted oak. The property itself feels peaceful the second you arrive. The lake, the oak trees, the open sky -- it all comes together in a way that feels natural and romantic without trying too hard. There's something about being surrounded by rolling hills and water that just makes the moment feel bigger and more meaningful. One of the BEST parts about Lake Oak Meadows is how many perfect little spots there are. You can walk along the lake at sunset, find a quiet corner under the trees, or use the rustic barn and open fields as your backdrop. The light in the evening is especially stunning -- soft, golden, and perfect for photos you'll look back on forever. It doesn't feel crowded or overly formal. It feels calm. Intimate. Like you can take your time and really be in the moment. That's what makes it such a special place to ask such an important question. If you want a proposal setting that's naturally beautiful and unforgettable without feeling staged, Lake Oak Meadows is truly something special. I would be HONORED to be sneaky and take your proposal photos here! Email: hello@amandacantonphoto.com Instagram: @amandacantonphoto

We decided to try out the tour and were very happy that we did…read more Located off the 15 freeway, it is a working ranch in the country side. The ranch is nicely kept, and is on 40 acres. We met Johan and he drove us around on our tour. Super friendly, nice, knowledgeable. We started with feeding the ducks and checking out the giant pond which has some fish and tadpoles to feed the ducks, but we got to feed them some pellet food. It was funny to see the ducks and their pecking order of who got to eat in what order. But it was kind of organized chaos with them trying to eat over the top of each other. Then we got to meet Ranger, 1 of the Great Pyrenees, that keeps an eye on the flock and keeps the coyotes away. Next we got to go over to the Alpacas, Steve was a big one but very standoffish. Ferguson the sheep was a favorite. After the Alpacas we got to see the Turkeys and Chickens. A lot of squawking going on in there. Then we got to feed some goats and a pot belly pig. Those goats are fun, but definitely hungry and devour the feed. Next we passed by their only current cow, but they have some coming back and they will soon have Scottish Highland cows too, so definitely going back for that. We went over to feed carrots to Bruno the donkey. We did not get to feed the little pony, it had allergies and had a face covering. Then we went to the gift shop and got some fun items and reasonable prices, and a dozen farm fresh eggs for $10. Last stop was the chicken coop to see all the chickens laying eggs, that was a unique experience. Especially to see 1 mama chicken leave her eggs and another come in to sit on them and think they were hers. I think when mom came back there was going to be a brawl. Tour was about 90 minutes, it went by very fast. Definitely fun and will go back with other visitors. Plenty of pics posted for you to check out.
