Had him do drywall patching, replace subflooring, and paint a ceiling. Was pretty weird that he kept asking me to check out his work and asking if it was good when it was clearly not. Like he did one layer of drywall texturing and it wasn't good and I told him, but I would have hoped that he would have just done a good job and then showed me to look. Same with the paint, it was so streaky and he tried to blame the paint. He had me walk through and was very aggressively telling me to point out every little spot that I wasn't happy with. Again, he has eyes and can clearly see that it was streaky and patchy, so not sure why I needed to be involved. The subfloor when first installed was so unleveled and had so many open gaps and again we had to tell him to make it better. He also used my wood scraps in my garage without my approval and claimed later that he never did use my stuff. Also they left a big mess in my garage after all this was done. The real unfortunate part was when he was done with the work he told me I needed to give him cash or check, which I did not know until then. He told me to go straight to the bank and he followed me there! Mind you, two grown men were in my home with me (a female) all alone, so I was very threatened by this and felt cornered. I have never had someone tell me to go to the bank for cash and just wait outside the bank for me to hand them $2700! read more

On his way out from repairing my faucet, he noticed my AC had condensation dripping out of the pipe outside. Little to my knowledge, this was the back up exhaust for the AC in case the main is clogged. He let me know that the main pipe must be clogged and I needed to vacuum out the clog. If this wasn't performed and the back up piped clogged, water would start to leak in my ceiling/attic. Probably would have cost thousands to repair the drywall in the ceiling. Eddie is really great! He communicates well (call or text 612-396-8639)! He shows up when he says he will! He works quickly! He does good work! I'm looking at the other reviews, and I see a couple of very old ones that say 'high fees' and 'bad service' and somebody talking about how they didn't get a receipt from something that he did (like where he picked up something from the store and then charged them for it). While I don't know the situation in those cases, that sort of thing absolute does NOT match up with my experience. He was courteous, and honest, and worked very quickly. He charges reasonably, and gave me the receipt from the things he needed to buy to complete the work. Based on my experience, I'd say the complainers were probably nutjobs and you can safely ignore them. read more

Contacted this guy Sept 4. He did send out a man to see what projects I wanted done the same day. Two days later he asked me to send pictures of what I wanted done. I did, and never heard anything from him. I texted him the following Monday asking him if he still wanted the work and he replied "yes". I asked for a quote and when he could do it. He did not reply so I texted him today and he told me to find someone else! Over a week was lost fooling around with this guy! Totally unreliable with no regard for the client whatsoever! read more

He charged me for 2 1/2 hours to assemble a kid's study table. He was on the phone most of the time and with breaks in between. He was on site for less than 2 hours. Setting the table actually cost me more than the cost of the table. On a positive note- he was easily available, was fine to talk to initially. But he is a total rip off and quite blatant about it.
