So I took more time off work, came back, and was told by Scott (the king of "not my problem") that since I didn't have their precious membership, I couldn't return a single thing. So basically, Fit2Run wants you to pay for the privilege of returning the stuff you already paid for. That's not a running store -- that's a get-rich-quick scheme in sneakers. If you like the thrill of financial hostage situations and a side of membership extortion, be their guest. Otherwise, do what any sane person would do and run -- far, far away -- from Fit2Run. The worker put it up on rack, showed me how the new tape I just paid for at the other shop was put on incorrectly, AND showed me that my tire had see through patches on it, and clearly needed to be replaced. My tape, tire and tube were replaced, the cost was reasonable, and I was in and out of the shop in under half an hour. This is my new bike repair shop.
