Fair upfront pricing, fast response to inquiries, and great job installing my attic and wall blown in insulation. I highly recommend them.

We contacted Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation, and Brian Kearley came out to inspect all three of our rooftop AC systems. The level of professionalism, technical knowledge, and attention to detail Brian demonstrated was outstanding. This inspection took place during brutal Arizona summer conditions with temperatures well over 100 degrees. Brian spent hours both on the roof and crawling through the attic inspecting every portion of the HVAC system. Even while working in extreme heat, he remained professional, focused, and incredibly thorough. What impressed us most was his ability to identify problems that could have easily been overlooked. Brian discovered that two of our three rooftop units had major gaps between the units and the ductwork penetrating the roof, causing conditioned air loss. He explained that the correct repair would likely require cranes to remove and reinstall the units so properly fabricated ductwork could be installed. He also discovered damage to the insulated external ducting on our third unit where portions of the ductwork had fused to the previous roofing material and were damaged during roof removal. Brian took extensive photographs, carefully inspected airflow and duct integrity, evaluated mounting conditions, and created a very detailed report and repair estimate explaining everything clearly and professionally. It is rare these days to find someone who combines technical expertise, honesty, work ethic, and customer communication the way Brian does. He clearly takes pride in doing things correctly rather than simply rushing through a service call. We greatly appreciate the time and effort Brian put into helping us understand the full scope of the HVAC damage and would absolutely recommend Brian Kearley and Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation to anyone needing honest and highly skilled HVAC work.

We recently purchased a home in Phoenix and were aware that we should have our A/C units serviced in the winter. We had a good feeling from our chat with them, and booked a maintenance call. Matt serviced our A/C units and showed us the condition things were in. As new homeowners, we were unaware of how good or bad the units were, and Matt helped us see we could be running them more efficiently and safely if he made some repairs after servicing. We went ahead with the recommended fixes, and he made all the repairs while he was here. He showed us that he really cares about his customers, and took good care of us when we had a lot of questions we needed help with. A few weeks later, Brian came over to perform a home energy audit and brought to our attention some additional issues that were causing us to leak energy and money. Although it's hard to accept that there's a lot of deferred maintenance we have to spend money on, we trust the team from Ideal and appreciate their review of our home. My father was a very successful commercial HVAC salesman in another state, and I grew up in the world of air conditioner talk and spent a lot of time at his company. The team at Ideal made me feel comfortable, like I felt with my dad's employer. I recommend Ideal - Elaine, Matt and Brian are the ones we worked with and I love that I can really trust them.

Thermo S and another company's estimates came back close but with very different approaches to cooling down a bedroom that was always hot. In the end, we decided Thermo's solution sounded more logical. In the end we went with Thermo S because of Caden's expertise with duct work. He recommended duct sealing and adding an extra vent in addition to insulation. Day of, the team showed up on time, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up their mess. The difference was instant. The air felt cooler coming out of the ducts, the A/C comes on less, the hot bedroom is cooler, and the house is quieter. I do have bad allergies/chemical sensitivities and the duct sealing was rough but after 3-4 days the smell faded and it's been fine. I would say communication with the office could have been better but they always returned calls the same day. All and all a very positive experience--I would highly recommend Thermo-S.

Appoint communication was great. Arrival time to the minute 10:58am - grins. Caden climbed up into the attic, did a thorough review with pictures and we discuss our current insulation coverage. Now the surprising part. Caden honestly, ethically, fairly advised that we didn't need more insulation. I didn't have to look at him sideways, so can I trust you (expecting to have to make that assessment on a big price). Nope. A business earning trust and winning fans by doing things the right way, seeking to provide value to their customers and willing to call it right when money doesn't need to be spent. Hence a five star review. What a great way to do business and Caden - well done sir!

Next I requested a bid for fixing the horrible temperature variance from room to room and fixing interior doors from slamming shit when the a/c turned on. I hired this company to add and additional hvac ducts, add jumper ventilation returns into bedrooms (there were none in any of the 3 bedrooms when I bought the house. Also did duct cleaning and sealing. The efficiency performance of my a/c skyrocketed, my energy bills went way down , and they fixed the terrible air pressure causing doors to slam shut from only 1 previous air return for the whole house. Not only were they professional, timely, qualified and...nice, but the whole crew was meticulous and focused from start to finish. I found this team to be competent, professional, and ethical. How refreshing. I have now had them come back a couple more times for various things and the quality of service is consistent.

These guys took their time, they've been here for an hour and a 1/2 . They documented everything with lots of photos . I'm gonna use every one of these photos to document to my property owner the poor condition of my AC unit. I had no idea my air conditioning, coils , condensers, and duck work were in such bad condition. The property owner had their own air condition company come out Which was completely biassed helping the building owner out. When you see the photos it might make you sick. I can't wait to have them come back and clean everything and I really can't wait to give that bill to my building owner. Everything over $750 is there bill. I am so happy they are also non commission. They are now going to my house In a few days to do my home air conditioning service check. I will never use my prior air condition company again after poor swrvice. I can see the reason why convenient home services has such awesome 5 star reviews. My home air condition service is working OK but it can definitely be working better, after good thorough air condition cleaning and coils being cleaned it will be more efficient. Luckily we don't have any leagues in our air condition system but will find out when they come out for a review and they will take lots of photos. I love that dare not trying to show me or sell me something without documented proof. That makes my day.

I have had several different companies come out, look at everything, and give me suggestions and bids on different aspects of the jobs I need done. One suggestion that kept coming up was to have my ductwork sealed, as my house was built in 1961, my Air Conditioner has a manufacture date of August 1998, and my ductwork is most likely at least that old. The house had a non-functional Evaporative Cooler on the roof when I bought it in 2002, which I discarded and capped off the attachment duct. I called Green ID and left a voicemail that I was interested in getting my ducts sealed. David Byrnes sent me a text message the next morning that he got my voicemail & asked me to give him a call. After speaking with David, I had set up an appointment for him to come on Monday, May 19th, to look at my system, as I often work from home on Mondays. The next day, I found out that I had to go into my office that Monday, so I sent David a text that we would have to reschedule, which he had no problem with. The following Friday, May 23rd, I had decided to work from home, because another Tech was coming to do some work for me. I sent David a text around 10:00 am letting him know I was home and asking if he might be able to come take a look. He was very accommodating, said he could stop by, and would send me a text with an ETA when he knew. David arrived around 11:00 to look at the air handler in my house, the AC unit in the back yard, and the ducts in my attic. My house has a very shallow-pitched roof, making the attic space very tight. The access is in my three-sided carport on the opposite end of the house from where the Evaporative Cooler had been hooked into the ductwork, and is a combination of sheet metal and flex duct. David climbed all the way to where that ductwork had hooked to the Evaporative Cooler to check the sheet metal ductwork for possible rust. That is Dedication to doing Good Work, because it was already really hot up there! David assured me that no evidence of rust was in the sheet metal, and my ductwork was a good candidate for sealing. He collected the fee for the estimate and said he would contact me about scheduling when he got back to the office. He later texted me that they had a cancellation for the next day, and could be at my house between 06:30 & 07:30 to perform the Aeroseal. I told him that I had another tech coming that day at around 09:30 to 10:00, and since I had contracted with him first, I wanted to be sure his people would be done by then, so as not to be in his way. He assured me they would be done by then. The next morning, right at 06:30, two of his techs showed up to do the Aerosealing job. They were both very friendly, cordial, and understanding. They went about their work, setting everything up and getting going. While they were there, we had some nice conversations about various things; an old car I have in my carport, what kind of work I do, etc. I also asked them about the Aeroseal process, and the tech that was monitoring the computer showed me what he was looking at, and explained the process very patiently and thoroughly. Both of them were very nice guys and a pleasure to speak with! As the techs were wrapping things up, they told me that David would send me a full report on the Aeroseal job and an invoice the next week, as it was a Saturday. Yesterday, I received an email from David with a report on the Aeroseal results and an invoice for the balance owed. The tests showed that before the Aeroseal process, my duct system had 212.6 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) of leakage equivalent to a 40.2 inch square hole in my house or 18% of the system's capacity of 1200.00 CFM. After the Aeroseal was completed, it showed the ducts had only 19.7 CFM of leakage equivalent to a 3.7-inch square hole, or 1.6% of the system capacity. Pretty Impressive! I am very happy with David, his Technicians, the job Green ID did, and the cost came in between 28% and 22% less than the other bids I received to have my ducts sealed! I highly recommend David Byrnes and the crew at Green ID!

One of the GreenID techs showed up first thing, inspected the outside AC unit, then went up in the attic and fixed everything the other installer should have done. I found the price to be very reasonable. Should've gone with GreenID from the start. Lesson learned. The second time I called GreenID, my capacitor went out in 2023 in the middle of the summer. Frustrated that it was a fairly new unit, David calmed me down and said capacitor failures are hard to predict, no matter the age of the unit. Sensing my panic, he came over that night after working a full day with a flashlight on his head and tools in hand, saving me from having to go to a hotel. This service is what separates David and his team from the others. David is patient, professional, and a complete gentleman. Thank you for going above and beyond by putting my family first!

First, he listened to our particular concerns about our home and then did a complete inspection of our attic - including a bunch of pictures (because when was the last time you were in your attic?) Our home is 33 years old and totally under-insulated. Our biggest complaint was the "hot in the summer, cold in the winter" temperature of our master bedroom. He showed us the existing 2" of original blown-in insulation that remained currently in our attic and explained how upping the amount to "code" would make a huge difference. We opted for a total removal of the old insulation so that they could fill all the cracks and openings where air escapes. We also had them install a radiant barrier on the undersides of our roof rafters which will reflect additional heat from the attic area. The whole job took two days. On day one, they vacuumed out all the old insulation which they collected in a bladder-filled dumpster which had been delivered. Then they filled all the cracks and applied the radiant barrier. There was a big crew of guys here and they kept the mess to a minimum by draping plastic from the attic opening in my hall and completely covered my floors where they were walking and the wall corners where their hoses might rub. I really appreciated that because once they left I didn't have a big mess to clean up! On the second day, they blew in 40 bags of new insulation. I waited a month since the install to write a review because I wanted to live in my newly insulated home for a while before I weighed in. First thing we noticed was the sound - it's actually quieter in our house! The last few days it's been windy, rainy and gross outside - we haven't felt the need to "take the chill off the house" by turning the heat on for a little bit. We're so comfortable now. We had a lot of work done by the Commandos and felt the price was super competitive! I would highly recommend this company.
