Gary came out to blow insulation in to our attic. He was on time, we did some paperwork while his coworker got to work. They both then finished up sealing our registers. It took less than an hour. I had my attic insulation increased from an R-10 to an R-38 and my ducts sealed, as recommended by an APS Energy Audit. For my 1700sqft home, EcoSystems came in with a fantastic bid of $899 out-of-pocket for the entire job (they claimed the APS Rebates). Gary and his trusty assistant Will, completed the job in about 3 1/2 hours. After they did the necessary work in the attic, they removed every air register in the house and sealed (caulked) all openings and leaks around where the ducts meet the drywall. Will then walked the entire house with his Shopvac and made sure the job site was spotless. I'm very impressed and would highly recommend them. Called Gary and discussed adding more cellulose insulation. We looked up the layout of my house and spoke at length about R-levels and the comfort. He and his crew came out the next week and beefed up the insulation to R-43, did duct sealing and register sealing everywhere and did a house audit. Price was fantastic, service was quick and clean and very awesome crew. I have already recommended him to several friends and family members. I received an estimate over the phone. I felt comfortable with Gary after discussing my project. He is low key explained the SRP rebates which he handled and gave me his advice on best "bang for my buck" on insulation levels needed. I had received 4 other bids, for insulating my attic and garage walls. Gary showed up with his crew on time at 7am and began insulating my attic. He was efficient GREAT PRICE!!! When I discovered one of my security cameras had gone offline. Gary crawled out to the edge of the roof line in the attic, and reattached the wire. When we had discussed, insulating the garage attic, I wasn't clear enough on the phone. That wasn't a problem for Gary, he ordered more insulation on the spot . He then sent his guys to pick it up and added the insulation right then and there. Tremendous customer service, cleaned up when they were done, and covered any my garage items with plastic. As a design build contractor for 35 years I would "not" recommend this company at all. Although the gentleman (I believe the owner) who took my initial call responded accordingly, set the appointment, showed up on time and provided a verbal estimate with the SRP rebate options. That was pretty much it, it's been 8 weeks and numerous unanswered calls with no response. I believe the trouble may have begun when I requested an additional quote to rework some duct work, I believe this may have been beyond their expertise, the last message I left I even said I would be interested in just having them just do the insulation, again unanswered. I had two insulation jobs that needed to be done. One to sell a house per the buyers request, and another for a home that barely had any insulation at all. I searched on Craigslist and found Ecosystems. Gary was very accommodating to the schedule of the house that I was selling and for the other one - We both had some trouble determining the actual square footage of the home... He went above and beyond to determine it exactly so that the price was fair. EcoSystems has excellent communication, great follow through, and they service the whole valley. My family purchased an older home on 6/22/15. Our inspection revealed that there was inadequate insulation in the home. In some areas of the attic, there was no insulatiuon at all. There was an addition built (arizona room) that had no insulation. I recieved other quotes that involved cutting the sheetrock ceiling to get access to these hard to get to areas. I contacted this company and Gary was very helpful over the phone offering general ideas of what the cost would be. I explained that there may be some difficulties in accessing areas and I would be more comfortable if someone could come out and provide a quote in person. Gary was kind enough and happy to come to our home within a day or so. He was the only company to bring out a thermal camera to get the most information to give an accurate quote. He explained the process that he would use and also found that there was two options to get to the hard to reach areas, without cutting into the ceiling. Gary and a partner completed the job today. They were right on time for the job. During the spray, Gary on a couple of situations, kept me directly informed on deficiencies in our attic. An example of this was there was a open air conditioning vent in the attic that was not found during inspection. Basically, I was attempting to cool the attic space, throwing away money. Gary rectified this while up there. Upon completion of the job, I found my garage, which was a mess to begin with due to moving, being cleaner than before they started. Also, the quote was exactly what I paid at the end of the day. Something that you don't find very often! I don't know how much money I am going to save in utilities, however we budgeted for all items that were on the home inspection so when we sell the home, they are all rectified. Ecosystem's cost was $500 less than the other two companies I received quotes were for 3" more of insulation. Gary came out and completed an energy audit of my sister's home in Phoenix after a new AC system was installed. We chose to have insulation blown in, add another supply duct in the kitchen and replace the old electrostatic filter with a standard fiberglass 20x30 ceiling return. The crew showed up pretty much on time and got to work. It was a 110 degree day. They worked very hard and nearly completed everything in one day. We discovered an issue with the installation that I will not go into detail but Gary had no problems making it right. Gary even went over the top and completed the demo of the electrostatic filter closet and intake. That alone was almost another half days work for him. Decided on Monday to add some insulation to the attic and thought I'd consult YELP. EcoSystems had four five-star reviews. Now it has five including mine! I told Gary what the square footage of my house was, how much insulation I already had in the attic (2-3") and he gave me a quote slightly under two other firms I called. Not only that, by Wednesday at 10am the job was done and jobsite fully cleaned up by his crew. I really couldn't be happier. Last night (Thursday) the furnace only came on ONCE despite it getting down to 40 degrees. Place feels...warmer, cozier. Personally I hate writing checks to the utility companies and with an expected (appx) 25% reduction in heat loss I'll have a payback of under 2 years.
