They are a SCAM!! Their door sales person will tell lies to get your business. after 4 applications we have more bugs than when we started. When I tried to cancel the service they were confrontational and threatening and still tried to bill me a cancelation fee. I have check with other friends that say EcoShield canvased their neighborhood and they have had the same experience. Avoid this company!! read more

Salespeople do not have basic reading skills. There is a sign on our door that says 'NO SOLICITING' yet they rang anyway. The person was polite and went away, but the sign is there for a reason. If we wanted your services, we would seek you out. Please don't bother people in their homes. read more

Sean P. came to my house to do my treatment and was very friendly and professional. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Thank you Sean for your stellar work. read more

No stars. Would never hire this company. Extremely high pressure sales door to door. Outrageous prices. He managed to get a phone number from us (he had no business card) so now we are likeky to get all kinds of marketing texts. My spouse turned him away first and asked him to come back the following day. He didn't wait. He caught me in my driveway as I was parking my car after work-- at 8:30 pm! It was raining and I'm tired after a long day and this is when he chooses to pounce? No way. Avoid this company. read more

Hi Matt, I've been trying to contact your company and get no response. This is what I sent, are you able to assist in this. I didn't want to post it in the reviews, but they left me no choice It's been about 3 weeks since you all sprayed my yard and home. I wanted to wait a bit to make sure the spray was working. But it's almost like the place was sprayed with stuff to attract more wasps and pincher bugs, among other tiny bugs. The wasps are the worst I've seen since I moved here 14 years ago. They are in groups all around my home. I feel like my $179 was wasted. I'm not one to complain, but in all honest it sucks trying to mow the lawn with these many wasps hovering around. Is there anything you can do to take are of this? Thank you read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. They did not fulfill their responsibilities that they promised. Now they are charging $521 to cancel their service. Yes, they offered to "fix" the problem. Nope. They missed something big. There are many other services available out there. Easy to find something better. read more

I agree with other reviews. Horrible service and products. I've never seen so many bugs and even had a mouse. They promised I could cancel any time and now they're saying there's a large fee to cancel. I can't get them to come back out to retreat. I'm sick that I changed companies. read more

We were not home at the time of Josh's service but his patience was very much appreciated while we opened our gate from our phone. He was in and out quickly but thorough - thankful for his attention to the wasp nests! They were a bit overwhelming this year. read more

Absolute scam. Most expensive pest control in the area. Want to cancel service? They'll send you to collections for upwards of $260 knowing you are having financial hardships paying for unexpected funerals. After the cancelation request I was bombarded with dozens of phone calls, text messages and emails so they could make sure I knew i owed them money. They tried to upsell me for 30 minutes. They are not a pest control business. It's bullies that want money. read more

Definitely a SCAM! They said we would be free of bugs. Since switching over I kill multiple spiders everyday inside my home. Earwigs came out like crazy. They sold us on their wasp deterrent and it never got rid of the wasps. Overpriced and not worth it at all. My hometown guy charged $40 for 3 months and we never saw spiders or bugs. read more

I live in Ogden and a salesman just stopped by @8:45pm insulted me twice after I told him I was not interested. Sounds like a company that hires classy and well trained employees. read more

Nick did our quarterly service today and was excellent! In between our initial service and first quarterly service they also did a touch service for us due to some pesky wasps. They have been great to work with and easy to contact for services! read more

Anthony was terrific he educated me well about the issues he was seeing and took the extra time to ensure my home was treated well....plus he was really, really brave and went into the crawlspace and did what he good to treat the issues at the source. THANK YOU read more

My review is not about the Technician service but about the constant bombardment of emails and texts regarding the service. It's really annoying and part of the reason the last pest company is gone. Please stop with this practice of electronic harassment or i can help you with this bullshit practice. It's been about 14 days since my service and your harassment team would like to believe I'm delinquent in payment. Leave me alone!!!!!!! Michael M read more

They ignored No Soliciting sign. They obviously want to sell a service even if you don't want it. Probably wouldn't be receptive if you had issues with the service. read more

Seems to be a trend with this company but I'll post my experience too. Despite two "No soliciting" signs, this guy still approached me and asked, "are you the homeowner?" "Depends, are you trying to sell me something?" He responded, "well we're just going to be in the area taking care of let's." "So you're trying to sell me something..." I would encourage everyone reading this to do what I'm going to do and that is report this to your city wherever you live. In some cities these companies can be fined for this. Not only that, but really shady business practices. read more

Yes. The negative reviews complaining of obnoxious door-to-door salesmen ignoring "NO SOLICITING" signs, and their tendency of direct, face-to-face rudeness, are warranted. read more

not very good at communicating with customers. Canceled my service without even notifying me on the first treatment. Completed my contract which they tried to make 2 years which is ridiculous for a pest control company. Then went to cancel and got ran through we will lower your bill this much how about this much. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Very thorough and respectful of our home. Did all we asked for at a great price. Answered all questions completely.

This company will send a technician on their schedule-not yours. It's happened twice when I've asked to reschedule. They charge too much, don't listen to their customers and I could do the same job they charge me $125 for 5 minutes work for about $5 worth of supplies. I canceled because of their horrible customer service. read more

Mike was friendly and thorough, did a good job and was fun to chat with also. Thank you!

I had a real pest problem from tiny little bugs falling from my neighbors' trees! The garage and foundation of my home were covered with these tiny bugs. I called EcoShield and they sent Dalton Butler to evaluate the problem and treat my home. Dalton was a wonderful technician. He was thorough, professional and explained everything he was doing! I appreciate the service he performed. More importantly, the bugs are gone! read more

We signed up for one year and cancelled. It took several attempts. Now, 4 months later, we received an email that they are coming back, as if we never cancelled. BEWARE!!!! read more

Haven't used their service and have zero interest given the lack of respect. I have never had a company come over so frequently despite my very clear No Solicitation sign. This disregard only fuels my dissuading anyone of utilizing this company if they ask about pest control options. This one won't listen to you from the get go, so why trust them? read more

This company took advantage of my 80 year old, senile father with dementia. They were hired to spray my house without my knowledge or permission. When I got home from work I noticed somebody had destroyed and sprayed 4 birds nests on my property, killing at least a dozen baby birds. They have poor judgment, a lack of common sense and a complete disregard for life. read more

Tom was great. Super helpful. Professional. EcoShield is the BEST - if you are ever in need of service in between visits they'll come at no additional charge. They'll help you until you're satisfied with the service and outcome. Highly recommend. read more

Encountered a door to door sales guy with an echoshield logo ... who ignored the sign that said "No Soliciting" and the one in the middle of the door that said "Do Not Knock" ... so when I asked him why he ignored both of my signs, he ended up saying, with attitude, that he was dyslexic. Now ... what exactly is the purpose of continuing this conversation for him. Does he really think I'm going to buy? He is just being provocative and passive aggressive now. I told him that I didn't believe him and that I would like to talk to a supervisor. He said that he was in business for himself, no supervisor. I said I didn't believe that either. If you are dyslexic and have no organization behind you, I said, why would I do any business with you? He was outraged but stayed on the door step. I had to literally say "Please go away now" and then he asked me for a bottle of water. Well. That kind of provocation made me take a picture of his logo and work very very hard to communicate that the staffing and sales solution for this company (if it's actually a company) is created some hardened opposition. How many of my kind, lonely, elderly neighbors are being pressured and scammed by this guy and this company?!? It is Just outrageous behavior which stated with pushing arrogantly past my clearly posted signs that I wasn't interested. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ECOSHIELD read more

As fantastic as their servicemen are, I have taken care of our pests for all but one of the last 20 years with monthly spraying with Home Defense. I tried it for a year with being surprised that four "quarterly" appointments were actually five appointments and you pay per appointment, not by the year! Only found that out after thinking I was done after four visits; the contract calls the first one an "initial " treatment. My biggest complaint is that they had ways to drop the price to keep me (the same as cable tv). It irritates me that there isn't a set price - so negotiate like MAD! I cannot see paying big bucks for something I can do for pennies. read more

Ecoshield will ignore your no soliciting sign and pester you to sign up for their pest control over and over even when you give them a hard NO. read more

Dalton was professional, helpful, and friendly. He double checked where we were having issues, he covered all the areas we were seeing bugs, and he explained what he did and how the pest control products would work. I feel like our house is safe from bugs again! read more

Not happy with customer service. Did not receive information of my cancel date and was charged $200.00 for cancelling.

Willie was great. Extremely respectful and polite. He was also thorough and responsive to any request I've had.

I tried several time to cancel. They continued service and charged me. Then they charged me 100 to cancel the service I had already cancelled before the service. I think they are deceitful. Beware! read more

Enjoyed using EPC for the past year for pest control. Our spider problem has lessened no doubt. Nothing negative to report with this company. (Andy and Ben were very thorough while also working quickly) read more

There are no words to caution people enough against using this company. I have spent hundreds of dollars over the last year for a service that has been completely ineffective in controlling the ants around the outside of my home what so ever. After multiple return visits to try to "touch up" use different products, etc. the ground is still crawling with ants, in the same trouble spots. I am out hundreds of dollars and they say that since I "signed a contract" there's no way to recoup any of that money and basically they just don't care and that's the end of that. BTW the "contract" you sign is actually a "service agreement," that includes a 100% guarantee, but even when nothing works they won't let you out early, nor will they admit it didn't work and try to make the damage even remotely better by giving some money back. To make matters worse I didn't go looking for them they came looking for me with a door to door salesman who pressured me into signing the contract for the year making me believe that they could help me. The rep was on site before I signed the contract and saw the problem that I was dealing with. I do not think it is acceptable for a business to keep money from people when what you're selling them is simply ineffective. I wasn't even asking for all of the money back I said I would take half or any amount just as recognition that it didn't work and it was a waste of my money. If I purchase a product from the store and it doesn't work I can return the product and get my money back why is it not the same with this kind of service? read more

Sorry to say that this company is a bit of a scam. It costs WAY too much for what you get. You have to sign a contract with them and are billed quarterly with a promise that if the bugs returned that they wold come and take care of them for no extra charge. We paid and paid and paid and when the bugs returned the next summer I was told that we would have to renew our contract with them for another thousand (by the time you pay and pay and pay quarterly forever!) and then when the bugs return you get a big "oh well" you have to renew your contract. Really? what about your promise to fix the problem that never got fixed. I called another exterminator that my neighbor recommended and he came for 100.00 flat fee - no contract - Danny's exterminator is the guy to call. It probably isn't good manners to put his phone number on here and trust me I am no friend or relative of his. Just a consumer that doesn't like getting jacked around by companies who sit around and figure how to make the most money with the least amount of customer service (probably after fasting and praying on how to do it). Sorry to say that this is my experience and my true story. read more

Nicholaus from EcoShield was great today. Very personable & polite. He introduced himself, and told me his plan of action before beginning the service. I wasn't scheduled for an inside spray, but he did it for me. He gave me a review of what he did before he left, and told me to call if I had any questions or concerns. This is the third treatment I've had done. I have noticed a decrease in spider & outdoor mouse activity which is the whole reason we use them. But the professionalism every technician has shown while at my home is an added bonus that I love. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They are not explicit about what you are signing, which will be a multi-year contract that costs $150 to exit. They don't even do the full service you expect you're paying for (only outside which takes 15 min and no inside) which is an obscene $150. When they complete their service they ask for a signature which basically allows them to transact more money when they tell you they just need your signature stating the job was completed. I can't believe I was fooled by this disgusting scam. read more

I have a no soliciting sign right on my door. The guy came by several times today and finally knocked telling me that not only does he do pest control but just wanted to chit chat. I have the sign because I don't want to be bothered by salesman. I will be reporting to Kaysville City and the Better Business Bureau. Shady business practices deserve my full attention. Plus I have video footage to prove. Simple rules are simple to follow. If your hard up to make a sale and break the law then you should be ready for consequences. read more

WARNING!!! This company is by far the WORST company to go through. They tell you there's a 100% guarantee & it's more like 0% guarantee because obviously if we still have bugs a year later after using their special products I'm positive their products are CRAP! They set up appointments & never come & the best part is they say they came (WTH I'm at my house I would know if you came into my home) my advice is go somewhere else so that the job actually gets done. Eco shield sucks! Very dishonest company!! All they want is to take your hard earned money & they never follow through with what was promised in the beginning. BAD COMPANY!!!!! read more
