They took every measure to make sure her stuff was taken care of and also covered flooring and doorways to further ensure this. The field manager even put her grandfather clock back together (chimes inside) as we had no clue how it worked. My friend is an older gal and they spoke to her with total respect, listened to her stories, asked her opinion all along the way to make sure she was happy. The homeowner is upset that one room is essentially a fire hazard and the egress from that room is blocked. I paid $1460 to have my belongings placed in certain areas of the house, and that did not happen. June 2, 2024 After several phone calls to EE Ward in Grove City, my nephews and I agreed to a crew returning to the house to place the boxes in their respective places (bedroom, basement). My nephews and I cleaned the cat litter issues. While on the phone, my nephew explained that I am elderly and disabled, and he is recovering from lung cancer. The only thing I would say that was a negative was I had to call three weeks in advance to schedule. But that was fine since we had 30 days to close on our home. It's summer, I get it. But the movers who showed up were incredible. Our driver Jake made sure all our floors were covered with mats or cardboard so we didn't get scratches. This was great because our floors in Columbus were brand new! We tipped each guy $100 since they were so good. They wore masks which my wife appreciated as well. It was easy to request a…read morequote and they were very quick to respond with an estimate after giving them a few details, like how many rooms I have, what big furniture needs to be moved, how many floors my place is, etc. I was only moving a couple blocks away and from a one room to a two room and a one floor to a two floor. They recommended one truck and two men to help and it was about $110 an hour plus a truck rental fee. I paid in cash so I got a small discount on the hourly rate. Rather reasonable compared to the other quotes I got. They were great at communicating with me leading up to my moving day as well as the day of. My movers, Dmitri and Bohdan, showed up right on time and were very professional, friendly, and efficient. They helped disassemble my furniture (and put it back together) and wrapped up everything as needed. I even had a giant plant that I wasn't sure how to move, but since I was only going a short distance, they wrapped it up and secured it in the truck to take over. At one point I even got a little emotional about saying goodbye to my old place and they were so sweet to me. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and can't thank them enough for the help. I feel like most people describe moving as a stressful, but for me it was a breeze.

The never contacted me for payment and instead took my fathers credit card before the move began - this would have been reasonable if this were clearly expressed when I offered to give my credit card before the move, but I was told it would be after. Then, mid-move, they thought they saw a bedbug on my fathers mattress. They stopped the move and left his mattress in the basement of his apartment building leaving him with nowhere to sleep. They claimed that he told them to do this, but according to him, they told him they would do that because it would be easier for him to move it and he said "ok". Too bad this is completely illogical considering he is alone and 73 years old. I then called them and was told that I was ridiculous for thinking that I could move when we had bedbugs even though I had no knowledge of a current bedbug problem. I then hired an exterminator who came and found that there are in fact no bed bugs and they must have mistaken the carpet beetle larvae for dead bedbugs. Reckless and unkind.

Forcing my boyfriend (who just found out he needs knee replacement!) to show them how to do their job. One of the guys kept saying "f this and yelled f that" outside where all the neighbors could here. So unprofessional! I'd NEVER recommend these LAZY "movers". My boyfriend carried the items in and proved it would easily fit. They just didn't want to do it and complained the entire time. I was able to move the item they claimed weighed 450 pounds. I've never had a more terrible experience with movers. Ever.
