The rooms are immaculate, and well-appointed (even a USB charger). You can sit in the parlor with the owner and have a real conversation. On the weekends, local (and some famous) talents appear to play music and share the spirit of the area with the guests. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. I can't stop smelling the linens they are so clean and the towels are crazy soft! Out the back patio door there is chairs and a bench to sit and watch the sun rise with a cup of coffee. 10/10 the best place we have stayed this vacation and will be the only place we stay when we come to mountain view.

They even called me the day of to confirm I would be there by 5pm as that is when the store closes. The lodging is above an antique store right on the main street. There is of course a separate entrance and it is located in a prime location, near the courthouse and Pickin' Park. We were checked in and given a number in case we needed anything. Room service is upon request only. There are 3 rooms total and each has 2 double beds. It is certainly nothing fancy but gets the job done. There is a small fridge and TV with cable. The wall heater/cooler is strong. They even include camping chairs for you to take to Pickin' Park to listen to music. If you need ice, you can go to the cafe across the street (during business hours) to get some.I called when it was time for us to leave and was just told to leave the keys in the room. Easy, informal, just how i like it! The weak wifi and no shampoo is what kept this from being a 5 star review.

The pool wasn't operational, probably due to the time of year. The only thing that could use some improvement is the water pressure in the shower.

Truck guys reving up trucks outside window every single time they ran an errand. Coffee has grinds in it, decaf airpot busted, icky gravy n cheap "bisquits", hard boiled eggs, maybe today maybe not...2 buckets in hallways all well as piir busted in ceiling, mgrs outbsoing ir on phone, The one make mgr was attentive but then left to go smoke.. hot tub freezing cold, gotta tell them when you go in so they can turn on the heater...pool gate busted. 4th day turned on heater, for 10 seconds it belched out smoke i couldn't breathe! Told desk to give me new room, and call firedept! no can do. Handy man will fix and no new room, Not till 4 pm. Unacceptable. I never have had a room from hell until then so i didn't get room "insurance" And they stole $80 from me. Calling Priceline nn booking they are useless as well. Stay far far away n go elsewhere!

The whole grounds are very clean and nice and all of the employees were very friendly! We had a double bed room and it had a recliner, table and 2 chairs, fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. And a little backporch with a beautiful view with chairs. And found out at the end of our stay, there is a porch swing tucked away back there too!! Would definitely recommend.
