The bamboo was suffocated and it buckled and got moldy underneath and started to push my LVP floor up. At first sign of trouble I decided to find the highest rated wood floor company in Burbank for help. Robert came and instantly knew what was going on without even demoing the floor. He kindly provided reference material for me to present to my contractor to prove he was at fault. He answered questions here and there while I fought my contractor to take responsibility and fix the issue and after a quick-fix failed, it was a no brainer to me to use Robert and his team to start again and get the job done right. His crew included Jason who worked like a craftsman to surgically remove the two layers of old flooring from around the footprint of my kitchen cabinets and entire ground floor area. The challenge was to retain the clean look of our new kitchen, avoiding trim to hide gaps, even though we were removing almost an inch of flooring and replacing it with 5/8' hardwood. We opted for a moisture barrier, an additional cork layer to try to retain the same height and then a beautiful, rustic looking engineered hardwood floor. I can't tell you how happy I am with the quality of the work. Eduardo expertly cut the flooring and brought up the level of the flooring around the cabinets to exactly the same height. The transition is seamless! If you are weighing up who to use for your flooring, pick these guys, they get the job done right. We are really happy with the appearance of the floor and the final product.

Amigo's Carpet Warehouse, you have made the cut (the bad one). We get there. It was easy enough to find. We walk in and are greeted by a man, who was with a customer, but he was pleasant enough to say hello and invite us to look around while he finished with his prior customer. And so we do. He finishes with his client and makes his way over to us. We explain a little about what we are looking for, and the size we need - he responds with some sales-y line like "let me guess, someone you *think* you trusted gave you that size and told you that was what you needed?" - Which, it wasn't so much what he said, but how he said it, as if it were his salesman approach to getting on our good side. My husband repsonds with "no, I am a contractor, I know my way around a tape measure". I wont give him a strike for that, but it was cheesy as hell, and made me giggle... he backtracked after that one... (awkward)... Anyhoo, moving on: The first srange thing we notice is that the name of this company is not what the Craigslist ad said. We look it up again to make sure we are in the right place, and we were, only the ad called itself Eco Carpet Warehouse... When outside the building looking at the signage there is a big ol' banner with Amigo's name on it covering the Eco Carpet sign... No big deal, but why does the CL ad say the Eco name ? That ad was placed that day... Again, no strike for that, but so far this place is strange... So he starts calling prices out to us and they are pretty dang high. Kinda surprising actually since we went to this place because his Craiglist Ad said he had swatches in the $0.40 cents per square foot range. We told him that was what the online ad said and he said he was out of that carpet... Interesting. He and Hubby begin to walk off as they try to find something that will speak to us... So far nothing does. Nothing reasonably priced, anyways. As they are off doing their thing I sort of putts around the warehouse. I figured if there was a carpet I really liked I was pretty sure I could talk Hubby into it even if it is out of our price range. So, I begin folding over carpet swatches (they have them rolled up so that I can only see the under-parts, and you have to flip over the corner to see the carpet). So I open one. Stare at it for a little...think to myself 'hmm, I'll come back to that one"...I make my way to another, do the same thing...I un-flap the corner. Stare for a bit, tell myself I'll come back to that one too... I do this to about three more swatches... It takes me a few minutes to notice, but I finally realize I am being followed around by one of his Office gals... She is folding each swatch back over the moment I walk away. So I test the waters... I unfold one more. This time she sighs and walks right over and folds it closed, ecept this time it was AS I was looking at it. I say "Excuse me, I am still looking at this one" She says "Well you need to pt them BACK!". I said "I planned to when I was done, but I am pondering....you know...being pensive....as in trying to decide..." She says "You can only look at one at a time!!!" ...WTF? Really? Honestly, we are talking about five swatches, and I'd hardly made a mess at all... Whatever, I've chosen to not spend my money here. I went and told Hubby, who was still talking to Corny Sale-sy Mike, "lets go, they dont want our business..." He and Mike both look at me strange...Mike asks what happened, and I told him I was followed and scolded by a woman with bright blue glasses and massive headphones on. He apologized and said "that's just how she is, she's....she's...." I said "Don't worry, no need to make excuses for her... take care" and we left... Ok, so, all of the above is really just my rant outlining my experience there, but it doesn't really speak about what this warehouse offers as a business... So here goes: -Their Inventory is small. -The inventory they do have is for smaller rooms (12x15 max). If you have a larger room you wont find much here. -Mike is nice enough, but his staff is rude as hell... In this day and age there is tons of competition in every industry...if I were he, I'd have my staff in check to ensure I was the go-to for carpet.... - I was turned off by the fact that their CL ad was misleading, and pretty much a downright lie simply to get us in the door. We ended up finding our carpet about a block East of his shop who had GREAT selection and inventory (darn, i cant remember his company name! Sorry!). ^^ That being said... I'd simply go to all the carpet places... being a distributor of swatches means from time to time they just might have exactly what you are looking for. It's all going to depend on chance and timing. Happy Carpeting!

I have no idea why there are negative reviews for this business. ‍…read more I started dealing with Carpet Depot over a year ago. I live in a rental house, where I had put in carpeting (using another carpet business). While I looked after the carpet, it became very worn and I could not get it clean any longer. I went back to the place I bought the carpet from, and learned that my color was discontinued. I sought to match the carpet, which is how I found Carpet Depot. Angel (the sales rep at Carpet Depot) is very aptly named. This man only wants to help his customers. I drove to his location with a small sample of my existing carpet and he matched perfectly. Moreover, the carpet quality was much better than I had before and the price was very reasonable. The installers, (Sergio and his colleague) were incredibly professional. Not only did they do an amazing job of the carpet installation, they were very respectful towards me and with my property. I can't say enough good things about Angel, who took the time during his vacation to get my order placed one year after I first spoke with him. I was SO glad the carpet was still available. I had guests I had not seen in a many years coming for a visit, so I wanted my house to look nice. Thank you again for Angel for the great service. The carpet looks and feels GREAT!

VISIBLE MOLD and water damage found in our apartment yet these idiots deem this as safe. RUN away…read morefrom Carpet Depot, don't walk - RUN. These people are criminals and scammers, DO NOT do business with them. They were sent to our apartment to assess water damage on our floors from a leak that had been going on for WEEKS. Water was coming up through the seams of the floor boards and mold was found under two panels that were pulled. There was visible bubbling and water damage on our floors, they didn't remove any other panels and they cleared it as "safe and no replacements needed". HOW can you see mold and deem this safe? What kind of corrupt company are you running? You should be ashamed of yourselves. 0 stars, I will be reporting you to the city and health department. On top of it, they are blatantly rude and the representative hung up on me when I called to ask for the report for our unit.
