I was seeking a reliable company to handle my shredding. What drew me to call Eco-shred was the reviews, and one reviewer noted they would shred the documents while you're present. That was a major appeal for me - I'm very sensitive about the way delicate documents are handled for obvious reasons. I called Eco-shred on Monday 2/3/20, and spoke with BO. I made my inquiries, he provided what I needed to know to include a price and an opening he had for, Friday 2/7/20. As requested I texted my location info. We touched bases again on Thursday to confirm. BO was responsive with calls and following up. The kind and professional staff member that handled my appointment was thoughtful towards me (given the cold, rainy, and windy day). Before his arrival, he called to confirm he was in route, in plenty of time. And his ETA was as stated. I live in an apartment complex, so I loaded my boxes and few bags in my vehicle for preparation of their arrival (my choice by the way). I was feeling a bit uncertain bc this was a first for me - using a shredding service, and I'm very particular. Usually I'd use the shredders at work, but I had been working on declutter for a pending move. The amount of papers I had was way too much to haul into work. But All went smooth, and it was quick. I felt a relief when it was completed. Again, the staff member that handled my appointment was great (unfortunately I don't recall his name).  I am happy with how things went, and based upon the professionalism I experienced from Eco-shred, I would utilize them again, and I would recommend their service to others. I was connected to Eco-Shred when I started looking for a shredding company to come to my home, where I work, through Shred Nation. They put me in touch with Eco-Shred and Bo Miller, who called me to set up an appointment the following week to come to my home. Bo called me about half an hour before he arrived, picked up the four boxes of paper I had to be shredded and took it to his truck. He charged me $109, which I felt was well worth it for the time, energy and aggravation it saved me. The only suggestion I would offer to Eco-Shred is to have some method of offering a receipt immediately on-site since I had to call and email Bo to get one since this was a business expense. Otherwise, I was extremely pleased with the service and would definitely use Eco-Shred again! read more

We chose Eco-Shred for our first neighborhood shredding event because they offered the best hourly rate. It was a smart decision. The entire process went very smoothly. Bo was accommodating and responsive, and the driver, Ivan (?), was a delight to work with. He set up on site very quickly, kept the process moving efficiently, broke down boxes for easy disposal (by our crew)--and at the end of the day, there wasn't a stray scrap of paper left behind. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. One suggestion for an event: schedule the truck's arrival 15 minutes prior to the advertised start of the event! We reconfigured our office space which included tossing many years of paper that required shredding. We discovered Eco-Shed when looking for companies that did pick up and had reasonable prices. We contacted them on a Friday. Luckily for us they were scheduled to be in our city on the following Tuesday. I spoke with Bo Miller, who was very accommodating. The service was excellent. The driver, who also processed our shredding, was great. He contacted us when he was about 10 minutes away--we opted to take our bags outside to meet him. Update to my first post - We had a follow up shred project and went back to Eco-Shred since we had such a good experience the first time. I needed a one time shred pick up in preparation for my move to my new house. The price was reasonable and once they got here it was easy-peasy. The only issue I had was being told they would be here between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and unfortunately they were not able to get here until around 4:00 p.m. I basically waited pretty much all afternoon for them to get here that is my only complaint. read more

I had about 40 copy paper boxes of papers that needed to be shred. I got quotes from 4 different companies. Eco-Shred has the lowest bid, was easy to schedule, and came when they said they would.
