Our second trip, we dropped the bags and I got online to register, assuming that's where we could check the account balance. I realized later that my online account was not connected to my card, so we went inside to ask questions. The person at the desk helped, then was assisted by a blonde woman (the manager?) who offered to walk me through the process, literally. I asked her name, but regretfully forgot it. She was more than helpful and explained the options for using funds at kiosks located at partner stores, and told us not to hesitate to ask for help anytime we were there. The floors were sticky and it was smelly inside, so I certainly commend those who choose to work here. I wish the parking weren't so chaotic, but its located in a strip mall with a large lot and close to home, so I'll be back.

Then there is the loading of the bags, and no matter what you say or how "helpful" you try and be, end the it still doesn't matter, because just wanna do their way or what more convenient for them and not the long run. If BottleDrop could explain that when loading bag you put it the side not the middle because it creates more space and prevents the system from filling up faster! Which makes going to the Lancaster drop off a hassle and you consistently have deal with people who just chuve it in, then it create more work for you, holds up the line and makes people act rude and impatient!! So, anyone reading this review your card is both a key and accesses your account it proves you are member, but if someone has bag with tag they are a member too, so be kind and just leave the door open. Also, if you are going to load your green or blue bags do yourself and everyone a favor and just load it to the side and the not middle you'll have less problems if you do!!

The hatch was locked, so rather than require a full car detail, I headed to the South side and hit a wall yet again. Why post a sign with holiday hours if the door is locked? Had I not spent my paycheck on presents, I would've considered leaving them for someone else to cash in, but 3rd times a charm! I may have had to shove them in, but I was no longer running around with green bags in my car like a little elf! Sometimes I think the people running this place pour all the leftovers into a tank and sip on it throughout the day. They're certainly not into improving the process or making it easy to recycle! How am I supposed to go green if you have me running all over town?!

Took me 20 minutes to get bags. Expect 3-5 minutes per person to use the kiosk. Then good luck being able to drop the bags off, because they are constantly full. That could be COVID and more people staying home, putting demand on the centers, but dang.

When I called to set up my service, I had told them about the garbage that was left and was told "I'll send out a message to have them come back and pick it up." I called 3 out of the next 5 days and was told the same thing, "I'll send out a message to have it picked up." On the third phone call I asked what that meant since I had been told that multiple times with no action and was finally told "if someone is available, they will come pick it up, but it likely won't be until your next service day." While I understand that the garbage that was left for us wasn't their fault, I was frustrated by the run-around I was continuously given and wish they would've been transparent. Fast forward 4 months (with admittedly minimal issues), to today which is our scheduled pick-up day. I noticed this morning that our trash, recycling, and yard debris bins were being picked up and taken away in a trailer, and unfortunately, I didn't notice until the truck was driving away. I called Republic Services to ask why our bins were picked up and was told that it must've been an error. My bill is paid and up to date and I did not ask for the bins to be picked up. Again, I was given the same "I'll send out a message" response and was also told that if the guy was still in the area (I called as I saw them driving away) that he could bring them back, and that pick-ups and deliveries are typically only on service days. Meaning, if our bins were not brought back today, that we would have to wait an entire week to have them delivered again and then another week after that to have them dumped. In true Republic Services fashion, our bins were not brought back today. My husband also called mid-day today to ask about the bins as they had not been brought back and was given the same "I'll send out a message" run around kind of answer. The routine lack of transparency, seemingly incompetent office staff, and the fact that they did not fix THEIR mistake today is the reason I will be cancelling my service. I have already reached out to another company to set up service and will be calling Republic Services first thing Monday to cancel with them.

Called three times in one week and were told by multiple employees our garbage would be picked up and of course it wasn't . Was told sorry can't help you because they don't schedule service after a certain hour so no reasonable resolution was reached now our garbage is being dug through by the homeless because it's bursting fill and we are expected to wait the weekend until there pick up day is normally scheduled(Tuesday) mind you and we have been calling since Tuesday when it was missed. Horrible company and employees the people seem like they could care less and asked to be transferred to the manager and was told they can't give that information out .
