The work required carpentry, plumbing and painting and it was done promptly and efficiently. EQUALLY IMPORTANT is this; I hired them without getting a bid due to the emergency but was treated very fairly on the price. Even though I was vulnerable they didn't over price. Before receiving their bill I "guesstimated" their labor cost, driving time, cost of materials, knowledge and what I believed to be a fair profit. Their bill was within $40 of my expected price. When they came for the estimate Luis, the owner, agreed to everything we discussed. When accepting the bid I even confirmed our discussion in writing. When he showed up on day one to start the work he already walked in with a bad attitude. He started questioning all our agreements right away and after 10 (!) minutes walked out and left with his guys claiming "he couldn't do this" without any more specifics. Outside I heard him telling his guys to meet them at another customers job site much closer to where his business is located. It became clear that he dropped my project for another more lucrative one. This left me in bad situation to find another painter immediately. Fortunately I did and he was 60% of the price that Luis had quoted me. Upon further research I found out that he only has been in business 3 years and already had a delinquency filing from the State of Colorado which did not surprise me.

I asked for something artistic to replace the eyesore, and they created a beautiful, striking transformation. It included engineered hardwood and porcelain tile flooring, Nuage slab counters everywhere, sinks, faucets, toilets... We did use outside electricians and painters, which we were told had to wait an entire week while the hardwood floors guy did his thing. I was texted a message by A Flores himself that the dude would straight up walk off the job if anyone else were there at the same time, even if they weren't interfering with his work. Because of this person's refusal to play nice with others, we had to stay in a hotel an additional week while the other work (baseboards, painting) got finished. I can't give five stars to this business, even though the owner is EXTREMELY clear when communicating and he'll never leave your messages hanging, waiting for a response. I did not like being responsible for buying/picking every single thing (sinks, faucets, a ton of flooring, caulk color) and it would've been nice to have had higher quality suggestions made so that I didn't feel I had to find my own materials. They did a great job on our niche, which has thinks like rounded ceramic tiles instead of the vile shluter thing that they had been planning on doing. There was also quite an issue with getting a double full bullnose edge to the counters: I assumed they were going to do that but they basically nickel and dimed us to get it the way we wanted. Lesson: be extremely careful when your project has a lot of moving parts (and people).
