Outstanding coffee house! I'm an x-barista and I can tell you their beans and brews are top-knotch. It's a great place to chillax and unwind, or wind-up if you get a double shot. The atmosphere is best described as "warm and cozy." Also Sullivans, rich with history and excellent dinning, is in the same building. Oh yeah, and Bee is the best barista ever--she deserves a raise. Great place to get a unique coffee drink. I love that they list how many espresso shots are in their drinks. I've been about 4 or 5 times and I've learned to ask to tone down the amount of syrup because their coffees can be really sweet. If you're looking for a place to sit and loudly talk, I don't think this is the place--every time I've sat in, it's been more of a quiet work environment which I actually really appreciate. & some nice people work here! read more

Funky little coffee shop in downtown Anderson! The cafe has a storefront on the street, but the door is actually mainly for a restaurant located down the hall, so it's an interesting set up. There's a loft above the counter where they refill coffee beans for counter access, and then the main seating area has tall ceilings and some good seating with tables. There aren't a ton of outlets, but there are a good number. The girl at the counter was super nice, and after a requested reboot the internet worked great. I had a regular coffee that was very good-they give you a cup and you serve yourself the type you want (specialty flavor is on rotation). They have a great selection of teas and I enjoyed my herbal vanilla almond tea. And for food, they have a rotating selection of bagels, so I tried the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It wants good, but I had to go light on the cream cheese it was so sweet. Would definitely come back! I was happy that I was able to find parking right out front that wasn't restricted to a 2-hour limit. read more

Love this place!! As a local college student, I come here quite often. They even have punch cards to earn a free coffee if you are a local ;) my favorite drink is the cherry bomb but the dirty hippie is also a classic. I've never gotten a drink here that I haven't like! Not too pricey either. The only down side is the speaker is not clear so even though they are playing bops, the quality of the sound is not the best. The vibes are indubitably cozy :) read more

Holy crap. This is the best coffee I've ever had. I went several times over my short Christmas vacation with my mother and it's 45 minutes from her house. I don't care. So good. I had coffee and cappuccinos on separate occasions. The cappuccinos were made like they should be. And they roast the coffee on site! I just moved to the area and wanted to find a small shop like this! It's perfect! I got the White Elephant- with vanilla chai, blended. I highly suggest it! It had just the right amount if chai and didn't have a poor aftertaste like some chai drinks cause. My brother got the Heath Frap - and he enjoyed that as well. It had the perfect amount of coffee taste to it. The staff was welcoming and the sitting area was comfortable and cozy. I can't wait to come back! PS. Locally roasted with amazing taste! I love their coffee selection! Be careful not to miss this place as it's tucked away at the entrance to Sullivan's, but oh so worth the find!!! Go in for a cup of goodness with a Frap or other specialty drink or buy coffee by the pound & take it home for a daily fresh ground brew that beats the heck out of that prepackaged store mess hands down! Must try the Highland Fog roast! That's my favorite with its butterscotch caramel flavors. The kids love the Frap that has oreos in it. Must try!!!! read more

The coffee is awesome and the service is great. My favorite is the cold brew, especially "finished" with half and half. Their cold brew is VERY strong so it is "finished" with either water or half and half. Both are good but the half and half is amazing. A close second is the " Oreo Speed Wagon". I can't begin to do it justice with words. You'll just have to go and try it. The barista 'Jessi' recommended it and I was hesitant at first. I decided to try it just to try something new and WOW it's great! So, yea... it's a great place. read more

Everytime I drink coffee, I try to have it at a little local indie shop, not much different than ECity. This drinkery is located in a unique sort of facility that is a little bit of restaurant, a little bit of business park, and a little bit of strip mall. It shares the restroom with a nice dining establishment. The best part is that this joint offers its house-roasted beans, and it provides a nice atmosphere change to my typical South Carolina cup o' joe at "Peggy Sue's Diner." I enjoy my nice hot plate-warmed coffee every weekend, but ECity is one of those special places that give you that college/small-town feel. Just not so small town that your town is labeled "Where Neighbords Are Friends." I had some decaf before heading out with some friends for a night out, and it was easily the best cup of noncaffeine that I have had. This place serves great coffee, and I would highly recommend it for a relaxing place to do whatever tasks are needed to be done. read more

The woman behind the counter knew everyone that came in by name and their drink. Impressive, indeed. The coffee was excellent. So why 4 stars, vs 5? Their selection of baked goods was anemic. I think they had 3 varieties and from appearance, they did not look fresh from this am. I think a coffee shop should partner with a local bakery and co-sell. I really wanted to love this place. They get three stars for being a local place and the atmosphere. I was very disappointed in the coffee. It seems to be very weak. I ordered a double shot of espresso with what was supposed to be one of the stronger coffees they had. It ended up being pretty weak and having very little crema. I went back on a subsequent trip and had the same experience. They might be OK for a cup of Joe but I would stay away if you're looking for good espresso or a beverage derived from such. read more

This is the best Vanilla Chai Tea I have ever had. My husband has the Vanilla caramel hot cofee. I would highly recommend this cofee house to anyone. I now go several times a month. I was visiting town for a wedding and found this place. The set up of the cafe was nice and inviting, but that was the extent of this place. The hipster girl behind the counter had no clue about coffee, was more interested in talking to her boyfriend at the end of the bar and trying to play trashcan basketball by throwing an empty bottle the distance of the bar into the trash than helping the customers. An seemed as though she was upset that customers walked in and she actually had to stop talking and do something. I could have handled that if she could have produced a decent espresso or latte but they were by far some of the worst I've ever had. The espresso was pulled to long, had no crema and tasted as if scorched. The latte tasted like warm milk. It had no body or flavor of coffee. This place could be great if it had a more friendly barista who had the skills to work the espresso machine. read more

I was a regular customer here for years, but will never return. Every time the owner was there she was extremely rude to me. Regardless I tried to set up an interview with her for a class I was taking, she agreed to the interview but never showed up. she did not even make any effort to contact me. Many of the other employees there are just as bad. Usually spending more time on their phones or talking to their friends than actually working. Very unprofessional, does not deserve business. There is a much friendlier place just up the street. read more
