Came here with my boyfriend and we were literally the first customers and we were shoved in the back of the restaurant. We noticed that all the other customers coning in were all white and we were the only brown skinned customers and they decided we belonged somewhere in the back away from all the other patrons. Then the cherry on top was the person who waited on us insulted my boyfriend. My boyfriend ordered for the both of us and the waiter turned to me and said "And what will YOU be having ?" I've been here before and now it makes sense that my family were also seated way in the back. I thought this was supposed to be a nice, classy establishment but I was wrong. I will never come back here. Management might look at this review and say Who cares? But I say your employees are a reflection of management. Shame on all of you! read more

This dining experience started out poorly with no acknowledgment from our server. Shakur, our water attendant was amazing and made up for the lack or attention. Our burgers were seriously overcooked and not prepared as ordered. Eric, the manager apologized sincerely, and made it right. The sides were fine but pricy and the steak was decent though a tad overcooked. The restaurant is in a weird space and feels almost warehouse-like, strange vibe. Very Disappointing Overcooked Very Tough 53 ounce Tomahawk When I came home and trimmed the FAT away, it weighed 10 ounces. I know a Tomahawk needs fat for flavor, but it shouldn't be 1/4 fat. This location used to be the Elephant restaurant, and that may be why. All that to say, other than the decor, everything was pretty good. I am VP of Luncheons for a 580+ women's social group in town called WNC. Each month a create a menu with the chef for typical 3 course plated luncheon/meeting/program. I work closely with the restaurant coordinator regarding every detail of our 4 hour experience with their venue. Laura Major has been my contact for both of our events this year, one in Downtown Summerlin and the other in Henderson. Both events were very successful. Yesterday, she went above and beyond with each detail and then some.... she assisted in helping with our AV set up as we were honoring and remembering our devastating attack of 9/11. We were blessed to have a Broadway singer, Larry Wayne deliver the innovation with our country's song, God Bless America. We had the distinct honor to have retired NY State trouper, Terry Revella give us an actual accounting of his on site, second building trapped exerience as is reflected in his book, The day the world changed. There was not detail Laura was not in tune to, with and on! The food of course, was delicious with our starting being their signature portobello mushroom fries followed by either a grilled Salmon or Angus beef hand shaved burger followed by warm rhubarb cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. I'm not gonna even hold you. I wish I could give it a 4-- it's a 3.5 out of 5, and here's why: I've been to Echo & Rig about five times. The first three visits were excellent -- solid 5/5. But lately, consistency has slipped. On my most recent visit (9/16/25), I ordered the fries (they're known for them). when it's on point, there's season two perfection, but they came out greasy with absolutely no seasoning - not even salt! The Cab and Merlot I tried were both off. The time before, I ordered the Steakhouse Salad. The first time, it was scrumptious - BANGING!! . The very next day, it was bland, smaller in portion, and felt like a different chef prepared it. Atmosphere-wise, the patio has so much potential but feels neglected. It's dark and uninviting, leaving you to either eat outside with the crickets . Literally, the last time I ate on the patio, this one crickets kept jumping on my table . Inside is cool, bit but it's just not what I want . I've been working all day inside. I want to unwind outside. Why not add some lights and create a vibe? I ended up switching to take-out. When Echo & Rig is on, it's one of the best dining experiences in The District. But when it's off, it's mid. For now, if I want consistency, I may lean toward neighbors like North Italia or Local. Steak lovers, don't walk, run to this place. They could have not made it any more perfectly prepared. Beef tartar, out of this world. Salad, sooooo fresh and yummy. But best of all, customer service. Top! all very friendly and courteous. Lighting was a bit too brigh, but we sat at the comfortable bar stools by the happening bar, for cozy dinner time and it was petfect. I would do away with the fried onion that came with the filet. Steak on its own was spectacularly juciy and tasty and I think the fried onion taste over powered it. Thought we would check out the brunch menu at Echo& Rig on this side of town since we really like the location at the Tivoli Village. Place was made up similarly and the same ambiance just one a single floor instead of upstairs with a view. We got the short rib hash, lemon ricotta pancakes and a quiche. The hash was so so just because I thought the short rib pieces would be bigger based on other pictures but these were small and kinda hard? Pretty bummed about that. The lemon ricotta pancakes were tasty but also so so. There was ricotta on the pancake but I thought it would be IN the pancake. Maybe it was but I couldn't tell. 4.5 stars Previously tried the original location of Echo & Rig, but since this was a tad closer to the strip, we opted to try this newer location instead. Located in an outdoor strip mall with ample amount of free parking. Upon walking in is a large open space with the hostess table up front and center. We were seated promptly within reservation time and served water and bread rather quickly. The sourdough bread was divine - hot, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Though we tried to avoid spoiling our dinner, the bread was so delicious we asked for seconds! Ordered a few sides to share for the table: portobello fries ($12), fried calamari ($12), mac & cheese ($12), and roasted garlic mashed potatoes ($10). All the sides were pretty standard in terms of taste, but we particularly enjoyed the thick cut portobello fries with the green garlic aioli sauce - the best! Ribeye Steak Sandwich ($18): Thinly sliced steak with spinach, garlic, and bearnaise aioli. The aioli provided a buttery and tangy flavor to the sandwich. Usually comes with a side of chips but I substituted with fries. I was only able to eat half due to my stomach being filled with sourdough bread and sides, but this was such a great value. Service was phenomenal. We came to celebrate an anniversary with our party of 7, including an antsy toddler all throughout dinner who did not want to sit in the high chair. At the end of dinner, our waiter brought out a soufflé with 4 scoops of ice cream - all complimentary. He mentioned bringing out the extra scoops of ice cream for the toddler since there was Grand Marnier liquor in the soufflé; so very kind. Went last night for an important birthday party of 6. Very weak beer selection and they were out of the one our son selected. I tried to order a couple different cocktails (cocktail selection is also very low) and the attendant indicated they did not make those without even offering to ask the bartenders. Didn't seem very helpful. We ordered then the attendant came back about 10 minutes later indicating one of the appetizers was not available. About 5 minutes later she returned to indicate the steak my son ordered was not available. Given the situation we decided to cancel and go elsewhere. It's important to note though that the restaurant management could not have been more apologeticnand genuinely felt bad. We have been there twice before hand has a much better experience. read more

We went to Echo & Rig on a Saturday night as a last minute pivot due to a delayed flight. The service was impeccable although the room was so incredibly loud it was hard to hear server. The meals were good although I wouldn't rate as great. The prime rib was not very tender... the filet mignon on the other hand was wonderful. So just a bit inconsistent. I've been to all the locations even the one outside of NV. I have given the new location three times. First I will say the service isn't as good here at the new location as the others but it's still pretty solid. The pricing is better than most other Steakhouses in the area, Hanks, Fleming's, Ruth's, Vic & Anthony's, Echo & Rig.. etc. I will say that's the only thing better than the other Steakhouses I listed. The steaks have nice flavor, the mashed potatoes come out lukewarm but still tasty. I want to love this place very badly!! The bar staff is great and makes some amazing drinks. read more

If it wasn't for Sheryl Best I most likely wouldn't have returned but she reached out and invited us back. I'm glad I did accept the offer because the experience was polar opposite from before. Now I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other items. I live about 5 minutes from the Henderson location. Oh what a difference a day makes! The last time I visited must have been an off day (I'll be able to confirm the more I visit) because this visit was 10 out of 10 experience. Our servers Stephanie, Austin, and Kevin were all very polite, kind, welcoming and cheerful. The food was UH-MAY-ZING. The walk to the restaurant is beautiful with all the shops and seating. Inside threw us off with the center columns being stained glass printed, random I know but telling our experience lol. Our server Alex was seriously one the best servers we have came across our time living here in Vegas. If you want a good experience I would ask for him. We started with some calamari and that was a hit, the two sauces brought out with it paired so well. We also had portobello fries, never had in any restaurant ever so decided to try something new. I ordered the ribeye, and just an fyi, their meat selections go off seasonal it seems like which is also very interesting. Makes me want to come back to try other cuts and meat providers. It comes with a paired sauce by selection, I chose the brandied mushrooms and that was so good. There were haystack fried onions with it as well. The chef threw in some grilled asparagus which was a good addition. My wife ordered the salmon which was a really good salmon dish, the fish just melted in your mouth and the sauce underneath it made it pop. She also got the 7 cheese Mac and cheese with breadcrumbs on top and that was also a very good Mac and cheese dish. This place was really good and we both had a very good experience. I had their merlot to drink my dinner down with which was chefs kiss. Will definitely be back. So we have been here several times and well it has been better. I feel like they are missing something. We came in for a couple drinks and sat at the bar. Okay it was Happy Hour and yes they were somewhat busy. It took what seemed like a long while to be greeted and then also a while before the gal came back to get our order. There were at least three others working the bar. Maybe we were invisible Once we ordered, the drinks were timely and our server kept up with us. I found it odd that there was a bartender boasting about his mixology bravado and yet I ordered a Manhattan-classic cocktail, and it came from a tap. I enjoyed the porterhouse steak that came with all the sauces and the fried portobello mushrooms & salad were a delight. Service was mediocre. The server spoke really really fast on everything and couldn't catch what he was saying at times, given the ambiance was quite overwhelming and loud. I do not recommend this place for Valentine's Day celebrations. There was nothing romantic about the place (small table for two and inches next to the other tables) but I guess I would come back for a casual lunch date since the food makes up for it. read more

First the positive - food was high quality and they were kind enough to allow us to order steaks despite the fact that only the lunch menu was available that time of day. The steaks were high quality and they prepared them to perfection. The restaurant was rather empty but the service was very slow. It was obvious they didn't have enough wait staff despite the sparse number of patrons. Staff also needs training- our main entree was delivered prior to removal of salad flatware. The server attempted to put down the plates where no room was available - we lifted a couple of dishes to make room trying to hint that they needed to be cleared prior to our entree being put down. When I asked that they be cleared the assistant (person delivering all meals) made it very obvious that she was not pleased with my request grimacing to show her displeasure The young man who assisted us (our waiter) was very pleasant and helpful. Making the best of being over worked. All in all we will give them another try at Summerlind location for dinner. read more

Karla had eggs Benedict and I ordered their signature hamburger and Portobello fries. All three were superb with great service by a very amiable Michael. The Portabella fries were a first for us and they were incredible! I really enjoy going to The District. Eating at a nice restaurant is a bonus! Walking into Echo & Rig was not exactly what I had expected. I thought it would be a typical steakhouse...dark and "manly". It had a nice vibe. The menu was not a typical one. It's actually a chart for the steak selection. Our server, Juan had to explain it By the way, he and Johnny were excellent! Very attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious and the desserts were good too. I was slightly disappointed that the hot coffee cake wasn't hot but it tasted good enough that I forgot about the hotness. The appetizers were outstanding. I'll definitely be returning to this location. I'm sure it'll be a great place to go to when it's warm out and you can sit in the patio by the bar, have some drinks and appetizers and just enjoy the atmosphere. So my first visit to this location was when a car accident took out the electricity here and in the area. I had booked a reservation then online and also for this visit. The hostess actually knew that and thanked me for returning. I have been to the other Las Vegas location a few times and had some delicious meals. Today was for lunch. My friend and I decided on the brussels sprouts small plate and splitting the steak salad. Went light since Thanksgiving is coming up. Service was amazing, food delicious, and great atmosphere. Definitely will be back to try more options. It's more 4.5 stars. Slightly pricey but everything is up now. Last visit enjoyed the Negroni cocktail which I recommend as a starter. That's all I really came for as I'm not crazy about this restaurant as I'm not much of a steak eater. The Bad: very loud environment. 80db+. I couldn't have a conversation. All hard surfaces. Nothing to absorb any sound. The atmosphere is very cold and sterile and white. The chairs are very uncomfortable. The booths are better. This was my second time here and both were on somebody else's dime. It's expensive. I received a gift card which I still have so I might come one more time but I wouldn't pay to eat here myself. read more

This place went down hill since my last review. We have been here 5 or 6 times and each time food and service was a lower level than the last. Last time we had the rib eye steak sandwich which was chewy and grizzle, fries were soft and onion strings came after we finished eating. Two crowns on rocks were $64. CRAZY! We were told it'll be a 10 minute wait so no problem. We waited outside since the restaurant was cold. We even heard patrons walking out saying the same. We were sat and the manager came by to greet us. You have the option for sparkling or flat water. Food: Portobello Mushroom Rib Cap Garlic Mash Spinach Salad After the manager stop by that's when everything went downhill. Our server took a while to even stop by to greet us. She actually went to another table, which they ordered before us but sat down after us. I was already upset. She finally took our order. Another reason I got upset was not having bread service. When I asked the bus boy /server he said, "You didn't get any?" I said no but it's no longer necessary since I already had my appetizers. I wanted to bring it to his attention. I'd still return but I will no longer choose to sit on the patio if service sucks. ----------- We arrived a few minutes before our reservation but waited for about 15 minutes before we were sat. I can't remember our servers name, but he was awesome. I believe he is Mexican and very knowledgeable about the menu and excellent service. 5 stars for him!!! What was unfortunate was we wanted Rib Cap Steak but was informed that they didn't have any and sold out. Booo!!! Also, we ordered roasted garlic mash, and our server informed us that the mash was at the bottom of the pot, and he wouldn't want us to have a negative experience. So we choose another dish. Echo & Rig is one of my favorite restaurants in town so I was really excited that they were opening a location close to my house. I've been to the Tivoli Village location numerous times. This location is at The District right across from Green Valley Ranch. There is plenty of free parking nearby. The hostesses and servers are very friendly and the managers make their way around the restaurant to make sure everyone is having a nice meal and experience. I've been for both dinner and brunch at this location. You absolutely have to order the portobello fries to start. They are the tastiest appetizer and are such a unique dish. I also tried the cauliflower which was so good. It was spicy and sweet and an incredibly memorable dish. My favorite steak to order is the rib cap but they were sold out on the night I went. I had the ribeye steak which was just as good. The shrimp entree is good, but it's only 3 halves so it's not very filling. The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts are my favorite side dishes to order to accompany my entree. For brunch, my go to dish is the short rib hash. It has chunks of tender short rib on top of diced potatoes and peppers with eggs and a nice spicy hollandaise sauce. Echo & Rig will always be one of my favorite restaurants in town. It's great for a celebration dinner, casual brunch, girls night out, or a date night. So happy that they have two locations in town. read more
