I did a photoshoot with Ed for my portfolio - I'm brand new to modeling, and he was patient, kind, and super helpful. I left feeling more confident than when I started, which I did not expect. He was thorough and prompt in sending over the photos and editing. Ed is very talented and I am so lucky to have worked with him - the agencies loved his photos!! Above and beyond. Thanks, Ed! read more

"AMAZING" The wedding video was so amazing, even more so because Ed was able to show us the video within a few days after the wedding. Who does that now a days? He said he did it as priority because we had a very intimate wedding and was anxious to share the video with the rest of the family who didn't even know the wedding happened. The still pictures are coming in a few weeks, I can't wait to seem them as well. The process of hiring him was simple we spoke over the phone and then he sends over the contract of what we agreed and then you just leave a deposit and then pay in full on the day of the event. If you are looking for a photographer, Video person, I would recommend him without a second thought. He was attentive to the bride and groom needs and wants. Okay he took a couple of still pictures for us and these pictures capture the moment. Where was this guy when we got married. He has all the photos uploaded within a week. Who does that? Hire him you won't regret it... read more

WOW! I worked with Ed to update my professional head shot profile. Needless to say the experience was amazing and I am still receiving feedback on the picture. Ed arrived on time and worked tirelessly through a few weather challenges to get the ideal shot and turn around the final cut later in the evening! Nobody gives you that type of time and quality. Looking forward to working with Ed again on a future photo shoot. Highly recommended. :-) read more

Ed did an amazing job for our engagement photos!! I'm not the most coordinated person when it comes to posing for photos, but he did a awesome job directing us and making us feel comfortable during the whole session! We did our engagement photoshoot session last minute, and was nervous no one would be able to turnaround our photos before our wedding (we wanted to have pictures displayed that day). But to my surprise, Ed provided our photos in no time at all!! All of which were beautiful, and everyone at the wedding loved the photos! Also, our photos were recognized by Martha Stewart Weddings, and they wanted to use them for their article! If you're looking for an amazing photographer, Ed is your guy!! read more

Ed and I have worked together since the beginning of both our careers and it has been a joy to see his business succeed and grow. Now years later, I am so happy to call Ed a friend as well as my go to photographer for not only my acting and modeling work, but I also used him for my wedding photos last year. His work continues to blow me away with his unique eye, knowledge of light, and awesome personality. His work continues to get me work as an actress and model, and I couldn't be happier with how my wedding photos turned out. If I could give him more stars I would! His work speaks for itself, you will not be disappointed! read more

ECG Studios - One of my favorite shots from my recent photoshoot with ECG Studios! - Videographers Near Me

Absolutely loved working with Ed. We had a photoshoot with Ed at our studio (barre3 Los Altos). Ed was able to capture amazing pictures while making the whole experience fun and comfortable. We had two toddlers at the photoshoot. Ed was patient and understanding and was able to capture great moments among our family members. We are all so happy with how the pictures come out. I'd highly recommend him to anyone. read more

Hiring Ed was one of the most stress-free and easy parts of planning my wedding. While he was initially a photographer, he also does cinematography at Weddings and Motion Cinematography. It took us a while to decide whether we wanted to hire a videographer, but once we made that decision, everything else was a breeze. We reached out to him after he was recommended to us by our photographer. From the first contact with Ed, he was extremely responsive to any questions I had, and he was able to put together a customized package that perfectly fit our wants, including providing us with the raw footage. Leading up to the wedding day, he made sure that we communicated about the day's timeline, and that we clearly discussed anything that we really wanted to make sure was captured. We felt at ease knowing that he cared and was truly invested in producing a video of our dreams. The final product is beyond what we could have asked for. Our highlight video captures the emotions of the day so wonderfully. Watching it together, my husband and I were transported back to those precious moments surrounded by family and friends. I'm so glad that we decided to hire a videographer, and I couldn't be happier that we trusted Weddings and Motion Cinematographers with capturing our special day. https://vimeo.com/345990831 read more

I cannot recommend Ed enough. He shot my graduation photos and spent hours walking through campus with heavy equipment. He has a great eye and will educate you on how to pose to make it look most natural. I learned so much and my pictures turned out beautifully. read more

I was looking for a photography workshop in the Bay Area to learn more about photography and using flash etc. Ed was super helpful and in his 1:1 class I learned so much! He is super patient and explains everything very well. Is makes such a difference if somebody shows you the things in your camera than just reading about it. I could ask many questions and left the class with more confidence and knowledge. If you are looking to learn more about photography definitely contact him for his photography class in San Jose. read more

Stated simply, Ed is an individual with remarkable skills. I had originally sought out a photographer to take professional photos as I'd accepted a CEO role earlier in the year and felt that it was time to improve my online image (starting with LinkedIn). I found Ed via a web search and felt Ed was the right man for the job after reviewing his portfolio. What I had no idea of however was what a wonderful individual he is and what an uplifting energy he has about him. With his positive demeanor and approach, Ed is able to gain an individual's trust (namely mine) and allow that individual to open up for some amazing photographic results. I am an extremely un-photogenic individual - just ask my wife and take a look through our myriad of family photos. The results from this single photo shoot with Ed are stunning. On this process as a whole - Ed was a fantastic. He was able to guide me through clothing choices, backgrounds, lighting types, and poses all based on my desired result: a professional but inviting image. Ed was able to well-articulate the rationale behind each choice leading one to (mistakenly) believe his choices and guidance were all "obvious". Furthermore, Ed's own effervescent personality set the stage for a very easy rapport and as importantly, a very positive and fun environment directly reflected in the resulting photographs. Ed's skills do not end at camera-point. After reviewing the photos it became evident that my 5 o'clock shadow was quite pronounced in the photos. Ed was quick to explain his ability to digitally soften this element of the images and turned-around a rough mock-up fast enough to quell my concerns and ultimately, provide final imagery with which I was extremely pleased. Without question, I have never in my life seen a better collection of photos of myself. It is Ed that deserves full credit for this. Ed made what for me was a very daunting task into something not only successful, but truly enjoyable. His light-hearted approach is well-reflected in the photograph captured. I would be more than happy to speak in detail to anyone who might have any questions at all regarding Ed, his process or his results. Ed is wonderful to work with! He was able to put our boys at ease which resulted in photos that show us all naturally enjoying ourselves. We rarely take the time to take formal family photos. Ed did such an amazing job that we look forward to our family photos next year! read more

I had the pleasure of meeting this incredible professional, in the midst of coordinating my clients Judy & Joey's wedding on the Day-Of. He was very calm and composed leading up to the big day and had respectfully followed through on the Timeline, I had designed for the couple. I truly feel that he lives his life with genuinity and you will see that reflected in his style of photography. If you are looking for a photographer who specializes in natural lighting, then look no further then Ed Carlo Garcia! I would recommend him to all potential clients! Looking forward to working with you again, Ed! Cheers! read more

Ed is a true professional in his photography. I needed to update my LinkedIn profile and Ed worked with me to decide the look that best represents. He is so adaptable and creative to work with. By offering duo backgrounds to compliment your look with two clothing options, I was impressed with the results. He gives you several proofs to choose from. Soooo excited with my final headshot. I recommend Ed as your choice photographer for a profile update. read more

My husband and I got married in November 2019 and really I can't say enough good things about Ed. If you are on the fence about booking a videographer DO IT and book with him. We hadn't originally planned to have one, and are so thankful we did. Ed's work is stunning. We have been able to relive our wedding day over and over again. My husband and I (and even some of our friends and family) were literally in tears watching our highlight reel, reliving the magic of our wedding day. He captured all of the emotions and just watching makes me feel all of those feelings again just like on that day. On your wedding day, things are going to be a whirlwind, beautiful and amazing, but a blur. It is amazing to have such an incredible video, allowing us to see things we may have missed, and relive the moments that went by too fast. Ed is fantastic so just do your future self and family a favor and work with Ed, you won't regret it!! read more

Great photographer who captured our family of 6 on camera with ease! With multiple young children, you have some limitations and he easily kept it fun, casual and candid so it was not work at all to help him capture great moments among our family members... we are very pleased with all of the photos from our shoot. Highly recommend! read more

Invest in yourself and have a professional headshot taken by Ed. Very happy with the results, will probably buy more shots from the shoot in the future. It was impossible to pick just one. read more

Ed did our wedding video and after wedding photography on last minutes notice. He was flexible with the scheduling and didn't complain all day. We were exhausted by the end of the day, but Ed still had a bunch of energy and was committed to capturing the best moments of our day. The video was done and edited within one day. You need to hire Ed if you're even thinking about him. If you don't you'll regret it, nobody is better. read more

5 starts is not enough for Ed. He captured the BEST PICTURES we could have possibly asked for. His level of professionalism by itself gets 10 stars. Ed is a delight to work with and be around all day. He was EVERYWHERE on the wedding day capturing everything we asked for and more. He is very familiar with multi cultural wedding and he is open to new ideas and suggestions ( in our case we asked a photo shot with a guy passing by on a skate board and he took the best shot ).He installed cameras in all corners capturing everything that was going on and we did not even notice him doing all that all through the day! He was able to take emotional but beautiful shots, and provide us with long-lasting memories of a day that will, no doubt, go by very quickly. The pictures still look good even when mascara is halfway down my face because my dad could not be there at our wedding. and when my husband has sweat dripping down his face after one too many cocktails, the pictures STILL look amazing. His compassion and determination to execute the photo shot we wanted was so obvious. We thought a winter wedding is not really a good idea since it gets dark really early and the weather is unpredictable but Ed was ready to take the shots no matter what.He didn't mind running all over the wedding venue/hotel to capture various points of the day. He doesn't "stand around", he gets right to it, and has a keen eye for unique shots that we wouldn't have thought of. He took advantage of every moment. The highlight video, photo collages and the final products were all of high quality and they were presented in the best possible way. It took him less than 15 days to prepare the pictures for us and when I asked him for the photos a little bit sooner because my mom was leaving back home he delivered the pictures personally to avoid postal delays. I mean NOBODY in the bay area can be as flexible as Ed. He managed to stay within the timeline and captured everything we asked for without feeling rushed. I have already passed his info to couple of friends and family and I keep recommending him to anyone and everyone. read more

A few weeks ago, I booked Ed for individual portraits for my new coaching business. He was so responsive and professional throughout the entire pre-shoot through post-shoot process. From reviewing photos to the software that he uses, things were very easy and efficient. He gave great direction so that I would be prepared on the day of the shoot, including hairstyle and clothing suggestions. He referred me to a hair and makeup artist and facilitated the communication between she and I. I was able to show up on the day of the photoshoot at ease and knowing it would be a great day. I asked in advance if he could help me with ideas for poses, as this is not my comfort zone :) He was really great in helping me to capture the feeling that I was looking for. I highly recommend his services and plan to book him again for any future photo shoots. read more

Ed is an EXCEPTIONALLY talented photographer. I worked with him for a photoshoot for a commercial modeling portfolio, and his ability to capture the right lighting and guide you through thoughts and poses is uncanny. His photos did not even need retouching because of his ability to capture the most beautiful lighting. He also works angles exceedingly well- something not all photographers can do, and when done poorly, is EXTREMELY unflattering. He is also such a pleasure to work with- a wonderful person. Thanks for everything, Ed. I know who I'll come to for my wedding! :) read more

We recently had our wedding engagement photos taken near Golden Gate Bridge by Ed. He's a fantastic photographer! He is extremely professional and has excellent communication skills. Ed made me feel very comfortable behind the camera for 4 hours. My fiance and I had so much fun from start to finish. I was worried about the weather being so foggy, however Ed reassured us that it would be okay. Sure enough, he was right. The weather allowed the perfect amount of lighting. Ed was able to capture so many amazing shots. The photos are truly breathtaking. I smile every time I look them. His style is so clean and modern. We were so excited to see the final product and Ed got them to us even sooner than he had promised. Thanks for all your fine work Ed. Highly recommended! read more

I was in need of some professional photos of my son for his college graduation invitations -- I found Ed online and was impressed by his artistic photography, and decided to reach out to him. His response time was immediate and he was able to fit us into his busy schedule without any hesitation. We had originally planned on meeting at Vasona Park, but Ed's recommendation to meet at another location was by far a better choice for the look and feel we were trying to accomplish. Ed was very professional, made my son feel very comfortable during the session, and we were beyond pleased with the end result. And, the quick turn around time was so appreciated. I would highly recommend Ed for any photo session you may require -- he will not disappoint! read more

Ed is awesome!! He was the videographer for our wedding. The highlight video captured all of the special moments and truly reflected the sweet sentiment of our wedding day. I had Ed fly out to shoot my wedding in Phoenix, AZ. I simply didn't trust anyone else to be my photographer on one of the biggest days of my life. He was very prepared; scouting out the venue prior to our scheduled photo shoot to make sure that he had the perfect place. Ed took a professional portrait for me and the headshot was awesome! Ed is professional, patient and easy going. During the shoot, we tried a few outfit options and Ed took a set of photos for each one until we were both satisfied. Finally, I picked the one I liked the most after Ed uploaded all the photos and had Ed post-processed it.
