This was important to me as making such an investment in your home should be done properly. Once I decided on the door design and window options it took about a month to have my door custom made. I was pleased with how quickly my correspondence was handled as well as the cleanliness and professional manner in which the install crew installed my door. The service guy Josh was very polite and I was quite impressed with his knowledge and efficiency. Overall if you want people who know what they're doing so you don't waste your valuable time or money I'd go with these guys.

I brought the frame in fully expecting to leave it for a while and they asked if I could wait 15 minutes! Wait... really?!?! Less than 10 minutes my frame was done! It's now been over 3 months, and we have not received anything. I've left multiple voicemails and messages with no response at all. This company is unprofessional and does not honor their word. If they can't follow through on a small promise like this, I'd be very cautious trusting them with a major project like windows or siding. Think twice before doing business with them.

We called premier Windows to get a quote to replace a window. We had used this company in the past…read moreand they did a great job. This time Pat was sent out to give us a quote to replace a window and possibly a door. We ended up just wanting the window replaced. Pat told us that would be no problem and gave us a quote for a new Pella window. So we had him order the window and waited for it to be installed. On the day of the installation there was obviously problems installing the window. Instead of informing us of the problem, they just put the window in that was supposed to be an all wood window on the inside. They installed plastic strips around the window because apparently the gap was too wide to install the wood trim. Instead of informing us of any issues, I had to call up Pat and complain to him. Pat used multiple excuses and then tried blaming us for the window not being correct. He then came up with a solution to order wider wood strips to put around window which I agreed to hoping it would look better. He sent his crew out a couple weeks later to install the wood strips which made the window look even worse. Never heard back from him again. I tried contacting Steve the owner but he just keeps sending us to Pat. I needed a few more windows replaced in this house but it looks like I will have to call someone else because Pat obviously has no idea what he is doing.​

We did our best to seal off the opening with thick plastic and tape until we could get the window replaced but knew that wouldn't last long. One company we called wanted over $500 just to nail plywood over the opening. In the meantime, we called two window companies to get estimates for the replacement. The first company spent very little time and was rather short with us. They offered nothing in the way of covering the opening for the 6-8 weeks it would take for the new window. Then we called Naperville Windows & Doors. Their representative came to our house and took time to listen to us and address our concerns. Shortly after receiving our estimate (which, by the way, was over $1000 lower than the first company for the same window), Don (who I believe is the owner) came out to get exact measurements. When he saw the gaping hole in our house & our makeshift repair, he offered to nail the old window into place and seal the opening so we wouldn't be without a window for 2 months. When we tried to pay him for his trouble, he wouldn't take any money. Very impressive customer service! Needless to say, we chose to go with NWD. When our window came in, Joe came to install it. He was super nice & did a fantastic job! The window is beautiful & very solid. We were very happy with our experience with NWD and would whole-heartedly recommend them. We have had many compliments from our neighbors. Doug and Duanne are local, incredibly nice guys and very knowledgeable. They were the only contractor that could figure out how to replace our basement windows without tearing apart the wall. Jay and Charlie on the crew are also very nice , knowledgeable and hard workers. The crew cleaned up every day and did not leave any debris or nails behind. During a recent buyer's home inspection, defective seals (i.e. windows looked foggy) were found in numerous windows. Fortunately, the windows were still under warranty but required the completion of some detailed paperwork (i.e. which was beyond my scope of expertise to fill out) to get new replacement windows from the manufacturer. Upon calling Kleckner Siding & Windows, the owner (i.e. Doug Kleckner) answered directly (i.e. instead of an office manager). He sincerely listened to my situation. He realized this was not his typical job (i.e. his company supplies the new windows and install). However, he was still willing to get involved. Personally, Doug Kleckner came to my home to identify all the defective windows in order to fill out the warranty paperwork for submission. After the warranty claim was processed, he continued to make himself available for questions and to provide advice. Yes, I was charged a nominal fee for these services, but, the peace of mind knowing I had the professional expertise of Doug Kleckner in my corner was well-worth it. Considering his position as the owner of the business, working with Doug Kleckner was as comfortable as socializing with my next door neighbor. He is as friendly, approachable, honest, down-to-earth, fair and easy-to-do business with as they come!
