Came in for a Dermalogica skin pro 60 facial. Booking was a breeze. If you check in on Yelp you get 15% off. There's a small waiting area where you get seated. Spa room is small and cozy. Leah was friendly and made the experience relaxing. It felt like she used quite a few products. Massage was nice to arms, neck, shoulders and scalp. She recommended products at the end on what was used and would be beneficial for skin and answers any questions on products. Pros: hours being at the mall and having access to discount off retail after service Cons: a bit noisy cause you can hear people getting nails done etc chatting loudly... and also would be nice to have a nice area to lounge around after with water/tea. read more

I go regularly to get my eyebrows waxed, and simply call on the day I'm available and they always seem to have a spot that works for me. Just AWESOME I went here for all my [ lack of ] hair needs for my bridal prep. ASK FOR HILLARY! I had arms, under arms, legs, brazillian and upper lip. Hillary was awesome, very talkative and VERY good at what she does. I had everything done in like 35 minutes. (keep in mind I was talking LOTS) As well, I also had the one hour relaxation massage. IT was absolute bliss. You wouldn't think the little mall front would be a full-fledge spa, but as soon as you step in, you get the full treatment. After my waxing, Hillary even gave me a bit of mineral make-up and some product and make-up advice. 5 stars all the way! read more

My first time getting a full Brazilian (here, called a West Coast Fire), and I was super nervous. But I had requested Hillary T. as she had a couple good reviews. She seriously lives up to them. She sets up such a relaxed environment, she is friendly and talks a lot - and not small talk, but genuine conversation, which was my favourite part about her. I did not feel awkward one bit, even though this was my first time. She was also very professional. She kept what needed to be covered, draped, and as always communicating to me what would happen next. She never said or did anything invasive (As non-invasive as it gets, considering everything is exposed). She was also really fast. Not just ripping the wax strip off, but she obviously knew what she was doing, was very skilled and therefore efficient with her method. She was seriously so awesome. I would recommend her to anyone getting any sort of waxing service. Again, if you're getting any sort of waxing, especially the west coast fire & you're looking for awesome service, Eccotique Willowbrook with Hillary T., it is so worth it, and she is absolutely amazing! read more

I didn't realize they were in the local mall so I called to make an appointment for a lash lift. I have been getting lifts for a few years now so I know they can curl well. Although the technician was really nice, I was quite disappointed that my lashes had a barely noticeable curl. My lashes are quite straight naturally and after the lift, they were still quite straight. She said with straight lashes, I might have to come back again in two weeks for another lift to get the proper curl. If I was new to lifts, I might have believed that but since I've had them numerous times before and know my lashes do curl quite well, it's quite obvious that something didn't go as it should have. That was a waste of $100 since now I still have to curl my lashes. I will not return. read more

Every time I call to book a waxing service, they seem to be either fully booked or have no aestheticians available after 6pm (open till 9pm) on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. To confirm my suspicion, I called 3 different days to book between these times and heard 3 different excuses. Unfortunately, this is the only time that works for me and this salon is yet to come through. My advice: if you need to use the salon after 6pm, this place apparently has no staff which makes me question as to why they are even open. What a joke! maybe preferential treatment or the staff is trying to avoid appointments so they basically get out of actually working! No wonder businesses that care about their customers go a long way. I won't be surprised if I don't find them there one fine day when I am strolling through the mall. Until then ladies, find yourself a place that will be interested in making money and providing service to their clients read more

Went for a massage here yesterday. I won't be returning for the following reasons: - The massage was nothing but rubbing oils on my back. I expected a relaxation of my muscles, but none of that really happened. I just walked out with a oily back. - I booked a "30 minute massage" and only got a total of 17 minutes. Entered the room at 3:05pm. The masseuse left the room so I could take my shirt off. Started the massage at 3:09pm. And at 3:26pm, the masseuse finished. After asking if that was all, she replied by saying "yes, you only paid for 30 minutes". **My wife also went to this location at the same time and that is another disappointing story** I've had a 10 minute massage before at one of those kiosks in the middle of the mall before and I can say that it was a way better experience than what I experienced here. read more

Meh! I had a mani pedi here and never again! First, I waited for 30 minutes in a "lounge area" and was ignored by most staff passing by. My cuticles on my fingers were cut and later became infected. The colour on my toes was so poorly applied that I ended up taking it off and redoing myself 2 days later! This was the biggest waste of 120 bucks ever!! Thank goodness I didn't decide to get waxed as well! read more

I came in for a pedi a couple weeks ago and the whole experience was fantastic. That is until I was waiting to pay for the service. Unfortunately I had to witness the most unprofessional and abusive treatment of a staff member towards another staff member. I later found out in was in fact the MANAGER treating her staff that way. I was horribly embarrassed for the poor girl being reprimanded in that manner in a store full of people. Just to be clear the MANAGER belittled the staff member to the point of tears after the staff member asked her to clarify several steps about a certain service offered. Her behaviour and tone was completely unacceptable ESPECIALLY in front of customers. I would even go as far as saying it was borderline abusive. I will NOT be visiting again. read more

Good effort but fell short. Booked an RMT for 85 mins but the RMT didn't read her schedule properly and stopped the session after 55 mins (I had gone through the effort to confirm with the reception twice since I knew the time was not a "normal" time). Was looking forward to a nice end of the year longer massage session but was disappointed with the the mixup and the massage itself seemed rushed (now I realize it was because she thought she only had 55 minutes). There wasn't really an effort to make amends for the mix up via a discount or something. She offered to start up again for the additional 30 minutes but it seemed a bit weird to undress and start again for the additional 30 minutes after she realized the mix up and she didn't really seem to want to do it either. The tea beforehand was nice and the front desk were nice enough. The massage was mediocre - a lot of effleurage but I booked the RMT over the other types of spa massages because I needed more deep tissue/therapeutic work done. My back actually felt stiffer than before the massage. Probably wouldn't recommend the RMT here. I've been here before for other services which were great so pretty disappointed the RMT wasn't as hoped. read more

Dissapointing. I didnt find the atmosphere very relaxing or special. I had a massage and Waxing. The only thing worse than the 'spa music' (2 hours of straight flute/piano combo... They need to change it up) was the fact I could hear the music coming from the hair salon next door which was bass-pumping Top 40 type music... I couldnt relax at all. The woman who did my services was nice enough, but she did a spotty job on the waxing. I will never go back. read more
