The staff are nice and friendly and experienced, What I liked was that she did talk to me a little especially in the beginning, but she was quiet for 99% of the time and let me relax (which is not what you experience in some other places even expensive luxury spas). I booked for another facial right after the one I got because of the great experience I had, my skin is so soft and fresh now (I went today for my facial). The products WERE scented I have a very sensitive nose and I could definitely tell you that they were scented. So i booked with her. Took me a while to get a spot cus i thought she was in demand turns out she was only there 3 days. So they bate and switched me to a different girl. She was polite and seemed to know what she was doing so i trusted sandy wouldn't entrust her reputation to just anyone. Life altering mistake. I was very clear and said absolutely nothing maroon or fuchsia or dark Under tones. She brings out this 80's fuchsia. And i said hell no but she spent 10 mins convincing me that it won't look like that on and it will turn out light pink nude undertone i wanted. When she was done and i saw. First thing i thought was what the "fuchsia HELL" Then she spent the next 10 mins convincing me that it will fade after a week and look the colour i want. I googled what she said there and a lot of people wrote it would fade so i trusted her. 4 weeks later still look like i walked of the set of a bad 80's sitcom. I called the owner Sandy after the first 10 days and she was very nice and said come in and i will fix it as i must be that 5% that the colour doesn't fade. I made the appointment for that next week. But was later told Sandy could not do them as she has to let the staff that did them fix them. Or she would have to double charge me. Like my time is free to fix there mess up. Now the original girl did a good job on the outer line and it was just the colour that was brutal. So i said fine. This time i would not be listening to her best guess and pick the colour i know to be rite. So now it's 3 weeks and the colour didn't fade and I'm going in. The same girl bring out the same colour. And I'm like no no and pick a light nude pink i originally wanted. But because it's lighter it doesn't really show. I'm mortified. So now i know im going to have to have them lazer removed. Very painful and expensive. And i cant take any more time of work. I get to my car and look closer and omg I'm going to throw up. She messed up the out line it's crooked and looks like a toddler drew it. She drew outside of it. Like why would u do that. All she had to do was take a lighter colour and colour in the middle to try and mask the fuchsia. But she decided to also draw out side the lines that didn't need to be touched as they where fine. A damn kindergartener can keep with in the lines. Did they do it on purpose? I was so polite and kind about it to them but now the gloves are off i called and the owner ist in till have way thee next week. Omg how can i show my face any where. I'm going to have to lock my self at home. I can't go to work like this. Now i just found out that trying to lazer off the colour will actually turn it gray. This place should be shut down. They didn't even have covid protocol or ask me if Iv travelled or have any systems no one wore a mask. I'm calling A litigation attorney we have in the family. Now that I've been crying for hours. Avoid this place unless you want to come out like hatchet face from the movie cry baby. Don't ever go here or it will be the single worst decision of ur life. Wish someone wrote a review like this because i would have listened. Go to Vancouver some where that has real training and experience.

Lisa (bio not available on website, but call and ask for her specifically), has the most amazingly strong hands I've ever had massage me. Lisa greeted me and let me know that I had been scheduled for a 'deep' tissue massage; she wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into. She was rough, and even painful at times, but my knotted muscles started to relax and loosen - it was incredible. Yes, there were times that I wanted it to stop, but I'm glad I didn't give in, because the day after I felt like a new woman. The deep tissue massage isn't for the faint of heart, but it is for someone who has massive knots, sore feet, or other issues plaguing them. Don't be afraid to swear if it REALLY hurts (I think she kinda likes it), or let her know to let up a little, she's very accommodating. I will definitely return to see Lisa, she does pedicures as well - I can only imagine the calf and foot massages I'd get from her, and because of her would likely try the other spa services.

The salon itself is beautiful: tiled floors, chic décor, individual mirrors and chairs, and there is also a spa towards the back of the salon where I decided to have some waxing done before my cut and colour. The waxing was great. The beautician did an awesome job and really went that extra mile that cheaper salons do not. I would definitely go back to this spa, and I'd like to try out some of their other beauty treatments if the waxing was anything to go by. After my waxing I went to have my hair done. The hairdresser was very lovely and polite but I did get the sense that she was rushed - something I always hate when I'm getting my hair done. When I told her what I wanted I didn't get the sense that she listened as well as she could have, however she did bring over a picture to show me the type of cut she wanted to do. I thought the cut looked pretty cool, but I was deeply disappointed in what I got. To this day I'm still trying to grow out the severe layers, and I had it cut nearly six months ago! I'm sure that many people have had good experiences at this salon. It is a professional place that was very busy, so no doubt it has repeat business. I however, will not be going back. I haven't been this displeased in a haircut and colour for many years. And I paid over $250 for it.
