Omakase Nigiri & Salmon Avo Roll
Kimberly D.

Been here a handful of times and love the quick pick up! Decently priced and the fish is so so so fresh. I love getting my sushi here. There can be a bit of line when it's lunch time since it is in FiDi. The grab and go is so clutch!

Glad I got a chance to try Ebiko again. Went in-store this time around 11:15am on a Thursday and there was no line yet (thank goodness cause I was in a rush). I got the salmon aburi ($12.50) and the omakase nigiri ($16.99), and enjoyed both items. The owner actually reached out shortly after my initial time trying their food via DoorDash and basically comped this meal. I figured what happened to me was a one off, so I really respect and appreciate what he did. It showed me this business really stands behind the quality of their food and care about their customers' experience. Thanks, Ebiko!

Counter style sushi spot in East Cut. Super convenient for those that work in the area. Set up is a series of fridges that you can grab sushi and nigiri from. Highly recommend pre ordering from their website. There's usually a long line during weekday lunch time. Ordering ahead and you can skip the whole line and grab your food from a shelf they have on the left from the entrance. - inari - a personal favorite. A solid inari that satisfied my craving. Sweet tofu skin - bara chirashi - assorted sliced premium fish over rice. Super fresh fish and rice is well cooked and seasoned. Portion size of fish seemed smaller than my last visit and smaller than older pics from others. Idk if it's actually smaller, as I assume it goes by weight, but that's just how it looked. Still delicious Both under $25 total which is solid value!

Food (5/5): Ordered a variety of rolls including California, Omakase, seared tuna, and unagi eel. All of them were super fresh and delicious! Service (4/5): No issues with the service. You basically just select the sushi you want that's containerized and then line up to purchase. Ambiance (4/5): Small shop with no seating. This is more for a quick lunch sushi pick up.

If I worked nearby, I'd probably eat at Ebiko for lunch every day. The fish is fresh, good portion, and the prices reasonable for the quality you get when you want something on the go. I got the Bara Chirashi, which came with bluefin tuna, salmon, ikura, snow crab, and tamago egg over a bed of rice. Every bite was fresh and satisfying. My husband opted for the Seared Aburi Salmon Don and the Tuna Chutoro Don, and both were equally delicious. During our stay in San Francisco, there were actually two Ebiko locations within walking distance of our hotel, which made it a convenient option whenever we were craving sushi. It's the perfect spot when you're short on time but still want something fresh, healthy, and delicious.

5* for the omakase nigiri! The fatty in me loved going in person to pick the combo with the fattiest toro. We always gotten delivery so was pleasantly surprised it was only $16.99 out the door! The hamachi roll ($7.99) and salmon roll ($7.50) were also delicious! Ikura side ($4.25) - a skip for me. To be fair, I never liked ikura but surprisingly really liked it at Dining Yamamoto so thought I'd try here too. To-go only. Bright and clean, right by salesforce. Service was great! The girl working was so sweet and kind.

Didn't know sushi takeout culture was so big in SF, but this was super yummy and fresh. My favorite was the seared salmon. It just melted in my mouth. The nigiri omakase was a good variety too, very standard. We went around 12 p.m. and waited 10 minutes on a Thursday! There's lots of outside seating near + the salesforce park. the shop itself is very small though

What a great little grab and go fresh sushi spot right by the Salesforce tower! I was in town working at our SF office for the week and saw this was a popular choice among the corporate crowd. It did not disappoint! I got a spicy tuna roll - it was a great price and delicious! Lines can get really long around noon but I took a later lunch and came at an off time at around 2. They were still stocking the shelves with fresh rolls and you could ask for more options. I was in and out so quick and the employees were very friendly!

My go to sushi place for lunch for chirashi, nigiri and rolls. The fish here is so fresh and extremely affordable for the quality. At noon there is always a long line for the lunch rush, but it moves along quickly. In this picture, I got the chirashi for around $18 which is an impossible price if you were to dine in anywhere for this high quality fish. Highly recommend!

Tuna avo roll (tasty), and all the soy sauce and wasabi I got for two rolls (disappointing).

What I ordered: tuna avo roll, unagi roll. $19 Ordered online @ 1pm. No line when I arrived. The good: - Prices. - Sushi I'd probably eat again if I wanted take-away. It's next to my Market/Bush office so very convenient. - Easy online ordering (which I recommend due to the long lines). The bad: - unagi roll. Had a very weird taste. Ate one roll and had my co-worker try one. We both agreed it needed to be tossed. - No online option to order extra wasabi or low sodium soy sauce. I ordered two rolls and got 1 soy sauce packet and the tiniest bit of wasabi. I couldn't even taste it once it was mixed with the soy sauce. - No wasabi in the roll. The overall lack of wasabi kinda ruined it for me. Next time I'll have to ask for more. - Not the freshest of fish. Not terrible though. It's probably what I'd expect for a pre/mass-prepared (given the number of locations I'm assuming it's mass prepared). - The rice. You've got to figure the rice out. It doesn't taste like it's sushi-grade rice, or if it is, it's a lower quality. It wasn't sticky enough to hold the roll together. Each piece fell apart upon picking up. Would I go again? I'd give them a 2nd shot if I'm craving sushi and I need it fast and to go. I'm armed with more information now that I've tried it. More wasabi and buy low sodium soy for the office. Oh and I probably wouldn't order the omakase nigiri though. I didn't order this time because the online review pictures were less than appealing (not too fresh). And of course wouldn't order the unagi roll because i'm not entirely sure what was wrong with it. Weird sauce? Gone bad? Who knows.

Really convenient option for when you're craving sushi and want something quick! Even though it's a takeout only spot, the quality of the sushi was still top tier. The prices are super fair for the portion sizes. During lunch on a weekday, I would 100% recommend placing an online pickup order. The line was super long due to all the business people being on lunch lol. I personally wouldn't wait in that long of a line, but I could see WHY the line is so long since the food is so good!

Fantastic takeout nigiri lunch stop!! The quality is very good, and the staff is so nice despite being overwhelmed with the hundreds of customers & orders they get every day! It's a cute little store with a line out the door & down the block. They have lots of sushi options, and fun Japanese snacks & drinks! You can't go wrong here. Everything from the seaweed salad to the omakase nigiri platter is fantastic. I would recommend the salmon aburi, unagi roll, unagi nigiri, snow crab roll, salmon avocado roll, spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll... pretty much everything. Assuming it's something you actually like, you wont find a more convenient way to get solid quality sushi in the city! My office regularly stops here because it's consistently amazing. Would highly recommend!

I've gone here more times than I can count at this point since starting my job at the Tower. I recommend avoiding it around 11-12, when the line can wrap around and look ridiculous. I always manage to wait less than 5 minutes whenever I go around 1:30-2, and they're still putting out a lot. The salmon aburi is a MUST, and the Chirashi bowls -- such great variety and so fresh. It can get a little pricey for an everyday lunch type of thing, but it's a good deal for great quality sushi on the go.

Good deal! Fresh and well made. A little smaller and no frills. The value is there, though. It's a store, not a $$$$ Japanese restaurant.

I noticed there was a kitchen in the back of the market, which made everything even more appetizing--I loved the thought that the food could have been made fresh that same day. It was so hard to choose between the two proteins, spicy pork and beef, because they both looked incredibly delicious. I ended up going with the beef, and it immediately satisfied my craving for a quick and delicious grab-and-go lunch. The beef tasted fresh, and the flavors were bold and robust. I also added the Korean soy garlic fried chicken, and it paired surprisingly well with the kimbap. The fried chicken wasn't quite as crispy as I hoped, but the flavor definitely made up for it. Loved the kimchi one a lot. Gotta come back to try the other flavors out. Didn't have time to explore the rest of the market, but they seem to carry a bunch of Korean ingredients that are hard to find at a regular grocery store! Lots of nostalgic snacks, seasonings, I even saw fresh Korean rice cake which I'll definitely be trying out next time.
