Our January wedding at Ebell Long Beach was a dream come true! Jenn and the entire staff made the wedding process so easy and enjoyable and I truly cannot say enough thanks about the people at this beautiful venue. All of the preferred vendors were also such a pleasure to work with and made our wedding day a breeze. Jenn, thank you so much for everything!! You are the BEST! read more

It really doesn't get any better than the Ebell Long Beach! My husband initially found a picture of it online, and since we met in Long Beach, we knew we had to see it in person! Upon stepping foot inside, it was love at first sight! While the pictures of it are gorgeous, it is a million times better in person! We love the outdoors, but wanted an indoor venue in case it rained (good thing we did since it did rain on our wedding day!). This place was absolutely perfect for that indoor/outdoor vibe! It is very classy yet unique inside, and it has these beautiful skylights that let natural light in. Plus, it has so many great spots for photo opportunities. I worked with Jen M. the entire time, and she was an amazing person to work with along the crazy ride of wedding planning. She was very quick to respond and was such a sweet and easy person to get along with. She made the whole process so easy! We had our wedding on March 14, 2020, and it was honestly the most PERFECT day ever! Everything ran so smoothly and the food, which is through Tres LA, was SO delicious! Literally every person came up to us that day and told us that it was honestly the best wedding they had ever been to... not only was it absolutely gorgeous inside, but it was well-coordinated and the food and drinks were amazing. You really do have to go and see this place in person! You will immediately fall in love, as we did. read more

Our wedding was an absolute dream and the Ebell Long Beach was the perfect setting! It was such a pleasure working with Jen. She was so accommodating and made sure that all of our requests were taken care of. The venue itself is beautiful and needs very little additional decor to make it wedding ready which is helpful for cost savings. And of course the photos look amazing in this venue. Food was a hit amongst our guests. I specially said I want very flavorful food and my guests said it was perfect. I am hoping someone I know gets married here so I can experience it as a guest. I would recommend this place again without hesitation. read more

From the moment my husband and I walked into Ebell Long Beach, we knew we had to get married there. We were looking for a warm, romantic and elegant venue that didn't feel like an event space but moreso like you were getting married in someone's wonderful estate. From start to finish, the service we received from Ebell and their in house caterer Tres LA was unmatched. Jen, the venue coordinator answered every question we had with patience and kindness. The communication and willing to work with us as we adjusted our proposal and tweaked it to match our vision was wonderful and the execution on our day was absolutely incredible. The space is an incredible value for a wedding providing tables, chairs, gorgeous glassware, silverware and dishes, all you have to order are linens. It's decorated with gorgeous artwork and live plants which meant we didn't have to break the bank on decor. We kept it minimal and it was still absolutely stunning. Another plus is the venue is completely indoors however the ceiling of the main courtyard is one big skylight so you get all the beautiful natural light and no stress about possible weather changes. The menu, curated by Tres La Executive Chef, Chef Adam, embraced our love of food and honored the special food moments we wanted as an homage to our love story, from oysters post ceremony for just us, to fried chicken and mozzarella sticks for a late night snack (an ode to what we ate on our first date), to delicious, short rib, salad, chicken and vegetarian ravioli, the food was DELICIOUS and this is coming from two foodies with very high standards. The cocktails, the flawless service, everything was so precise, our guests are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was. The space was big enough for everyone to have room to roam around but not so huge that it felt cold and unintimate. Our guests loved the art work and decor, and a huge bonus is they not only have a bridal suite but a grooms suite as well with a pool table and leather chairs (grooms need a place to hang out too!!). We could go on and on about how great our experience with Ebell was. I'd get married all again to have it there! read more

I went to a lovely wedding at the Ebell in Long Beach last month. It was a beautiful venue, with eye-catching architecture and rich, interesting decor. There were cool light fixtures, colorful tiles, and gorgeous wood work all around. The ceremony, Korean pyaebek, cocktail hour, and reception were all held in the Ebell, sprawling across several rooms. It felt like a ball in someone's opulent, charming home. This was a large wedding with around three hundred guests, most of them converging in Long Beach from Orange County and Los Angeles. It was a big party, but the venue was just right for it, with enough space and character that it managed to feel intimate without ever getting crowded. There was also easy access to at least two bars, and the bartenders were friendly and fast. I had a great time at this wedding. It was super Korean, which I appreciated, with catered Korean food (not provided by the Ebell, though I do think they did the hors d'oeuvres, which were good) and enough room for every relative and church member of the bride and groom. I sat at the same table as a woman who'd tutored one of my brothers; there was a game to determine who would take home the centerpieces, followed by a warning not to take the flowers out before the evening was over. The Ebell wasn't Korean, but it provided a magnificent space for the couple to plan a fun, classy party and infuse it with their own quirks. In addition to the Koreanness of it all, there was an adorable coffee and bagel theme, a nod to their online origin story. I can't speak to their experience, but as a guest, I have only good things to say about the Ebell. It's worth checking out if you're planning a Long Beach wedding. read more

My husband and I had our wedding at the Ebell Club last November and it was perfect. Hearing from our guests, they all talked about how beautiful the building was and how intimate the space felt. The coordination/transition from ceremony to cocktail hour, to dinner then to dancing, it was so seamless and fun. And the food was delicious; each choice reflected our own style and taste, and our guests could tell the food represented us. We had a great night and it's one we'll never forget. Thank you, Ebell Club! read more

The Ebell was truly the venue of our dreams. My husband and I visited 5 other venues but we always kept coming back to the Ebell so we knew it was THE ONE. Not only is it the most beautiful space I have ever set eyes on but the team running it is impeccable. Working with the incredible team at TresLA was a joy. We knew we wanted our wedding to be unforgettable, and we especially wanted the food and drinks to be a focal point, and this team delivered above and beyond what we even expected. We had the pleasure of working with Jen and Sharon and they made our wedding day the best day of our lives. I can not say enough about what a caring, thoughtful, incredibly reliable, magical coordinator Jen was. She anticipated some of our wants before we could even ask for them. She expertly guided us through Tres LA's expansive menu and even worked with us to add off-the-menu desserts and appetizers that were really important to us. She was truly a delight to work with and we can not imagine our special day without her and her amazing team. We cannot thank them enough. To this day our guests still tell us that the dinner and appetizers they had at our wedding were the best they have had, and they they too want to get married at the Ebell or wish that it had been around when they got married. The presentation was gorgeous, everything was beyond delicious, and the service was phenomenal. We will recommend Tres LA and the Ebell to everyone looking for an outstanding venue/catering company and an unrivaled dining experience. We look forward to working with them again! read more

There is no doubt that this venue is beautiful. My fiancee and I walked in and immediately our jaws dropped. Everything about it is so grand, gorgeous and definitely fits into the category of "dream wedding". However, I'm only giving this venue 2 stars because of their service. I emailed the staff asking them if we could schedule a tour on a weekday at 5PM. It was the only time my fiancee and I can meet because of work. Even though their doors close at 5PM, they were courteous enough to still meet with us. We were very grateful. We arrived on time and was greeted by a staff member. She was very friendly, but we felt like the tour was so rushed. She didn't sit down with us and give us any numbers, and only gave us a very general overview of the space. There was no invitation for us to ask questions and I felt like I had little time and opportunity to gain more information. We felt really rushed. At the end of our very brief tour (it was probably about 10 minutes), we wanted to take pictures. However, as we were taking pictures, we see her already out of her office with her things ready to go. She thought we already left and that made us feel very under valued and not welcomed. I've visited other venues who graciously took us after hours, and at every venue we experienced service that was wayyy better than this. The other venues took their time with us, sat us down to go over numbers and even offered us a drink to make us feel comfortable. Ebell is such a grand space, and to experience service like this was very disappointing. I completely understand that no one wants to stay at work later, but if you agree to take us on for a tour after hours, please show us or any other client excellent service regardless of the time. It was very inconsiderate and created distrust between us and the venue. If we're going to have our wedding here, one of the most pivotal events of our lives, we'd like to entrust that with people who value us as their clients. read more

Katie and Jen were great to work with, the venue is stunning, the event staff were so attentive and professional, and we greatly appreciated the flexibility to allow us to bring in our decor the day before because there were no events taking place. The venue is unique and beautiful and we were so happy with how the whole event went. read more

We booked the Ebell Long Beach for our wedding ceremony and reception on February 24, 2024, and besides the fact that it was hands down the most gorgeous venue we'd seen, the people that we worked with solidified our decision. We worked with Jen from our very first tour of the venue up until the day before our wedding when she helped us put the finishing touches on our big day. For over a year, she was consistent in her very fast response times (we're talking hours, if not minutes) and eagerness to make our event feel like one-of-a-kind. When our family members showed up to the venue without an appointment, she gave them a tour on the spot. This is just one example of the attentiveness she showed us when she was undoubtedly juggling hundreds of other couples at the same time. Another invaluable team member of the Ebell LB was Katie. She stepped in a couple months ahead of our wedding for our design meeting to handle all of the event's logistics including layout, vendors, and timeline. She was gracious and creative when it came to problem-solving, something that we were so grateful for since she was the one representing the venue. Even after getting engaged the week before our design meeting, she made it all about us when we should've been celebrating her!!! Katie and our coordinator worked so well together to ensure that our wedding day went without a single hiccup. Lastly, Chef Adam, a chef for Tres LA, was another invaluable member of the team who made our wedding day perfect. On the day of our tasting, Chef Adam personally came out after each course to ask for our feedback. This was totally unexpected and an incredible experience because beyond being able to select our menu from an extensive list, we were able to personalize it even further. He even accommodated us when we asked to include pigs in a blanket as one of our hors d'oeuvres, which wasn't on their menu to begin with! We're not exaggerating when we say that most of our guests followed up with us that this was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. The excellence and consistency that we received from this team made our planning journey smooth, and we're so lucky that the Ebell LB is now a meaningful place in our lives and our relationship. read more

As a guest, this was a beautiful wedding venue for both the ceremony and reception. Especially when the weather feels a bit wintry, it's nice to be able to have the festivities indoors. The decor was reminiscent of some of the Moorish buildings that we saw in Spain. The food was unexpectedly good and the service was friendly and attentive. Parking was a block or two away at a nearby church. read more

The Ebell of Long Beach is a dream! My now husband and I fell in love with the venue and had to book immediately. The Venue is well lit with natural light, you'll notice the small details and touches in every room, and there is plenty of space for your guests to roam around (The Parlor Room is really something special!). The venue, staff (Jen), food, literally everything, speaks quality. The venue is very large and fits the max amount of 250 people, we had trouble finding a venue with a great sense of taste that would accommodate all our expected guests. What I heard from my guests.. - Best food they have ever had at a wedding - Felt like they were at a celebrity event - Catering Staff was very accommodating and polite If we had the opportunity, my husband and I wouldn't change anything about our special night, it surpassed our expectations. I recommend going to their open house to talk to the staff while trying an hors d'oeuvre or two! You will fall in love instantly! read more

Ebell was my dream venue for our wedding this year! It was above our original set budget, but we decided to go for it! The venue is gorgeous and the staff did a magnificent job! I couldn't be more stoked with the level of support from everyone at the venue. Being in events myself for almost two decades I had a lot of specific needs. Jennifer, our main contact at Ebell helped arrange everything to my liking and met my vision to a T! I highly recommend this place. You won't need to sweat the small stuff and on such a special day that is worth every penny. Thank you Ebell, Tres LA & Jen! You made our dreams come to life! read more

One star for the beautiful venue. Zero stars for the service (or lack thereof). They make you jump through ridiculous hoops just for *the chance* to book your wedding there. Please let me explain our infuriating debacle... My fiancé and I flew down to Long Beach from San Francisco during their monthly Open House on October 4, 2016. We loved the venue, the tasting, etc. and immediately emailed them for a proposal the next day. We spent the next 3 weeks refining the proposal, knowing that dates for Oct. 2017 wouldn't open up until the end of the month (their policy). We confirmed the final proposal and indicated we would be ready to go to contract on Oct. 31 at midnight as soon as dates opened. Our contact confirmed that they would review our 1st and 2nd choice dates (both Saturdays) and let us know which date we could secure based on availability after Oct. 31 and reviewing other requests from couples on that date. In fact her exact words were: "The only thing we require you to have before requesting to go to contract is a Tres LA proposal, so we are all set!" Then on the morning of Oct. 31 we received an email letting us know that NEITHER of our dates were available, all Saturdays were booked for other couples, and they only have Friday/Sunday dates available. Seriously?? You have got to be kidding me! This is a serious investment of many THOUSANDS of dollars that we are considering and you just wasted an entire month of our time with negotiations. Of course we were extremely disappointed since up to this point we were operating under the assumption that we would get our 1st or 2nd choice date. At no point in our month-long communications did the Ebell let us know that they sent out many more proposals for our date, knowing that there are only 4 Saturdays available in October and that there was a very real possibility that we wouldn't get our chosen date. If we had known, we would have at least requested a second proposal from the Ebell for a Friday to compare the cost and make an informed decision but we were NEVER even offered that opportunity until the very end of the month. Never in my life have I felt so unfairly pressured to make a decision. At minimum, an ethical vendor would have informed us that we should consider alternate dates and/or venues knowing our preference for a Saturday date! We expressed our disappointment, but the Ebell was unwilling to make any concessions to correct the situation. They initially offered us 2 alternate Fridays for October 2017 and when we requested a proposal for one of those dates, they then retracted it and said it was already booked. This all occurred within an hour of them even offering the alternate dates to us! Unbelievable. All other event venues we spoke to at least gave us a heads up that another couple was seriously considering our date to avoid this type of serious disappointment. The Ebell Club's level of unprofessionalism left such a poor impression. We ended up booking another venue the very next day that was above and beyond courteous and did not play games with us. Buyer beware! read more

The first time I saw the venue with my now husband, we both instantly knew that this was the place we would get married. It was beautiful, charming, and had the most unique details that we didn't see anywhere else. We were so lucky to get to work with Jen Maclean, who was nothing short but amazing. She made the entire process fun, enjoyable and stress free. Jen always made herself available to answer any questions we had over the phone, quickly responded back to emails, and helped us problem solve how to fit everything within our tight budget without having to give up things that were important to us. She truly cares about you and wants to make sure you are happy. I don't know what we would have done without Jen, she's honestly the best!!!! The Tres LA catering and staff were amazing on our wedding day and worked efficiently and were professional. Having great food at our wedding was a priority and I can say that the food was the most delicious food we've had. Our guests still rave about the food we served at our wedding! The venue made sure to have one staff accommodate my husband and I on our wedding day and that waiter always made sure we had enough food and drinks throughout the hectic day. They even were kind enough to pack up some food for us to enjoy the next day! Choosing to have our wedding here was hands down the best decision we made! We loved working with everyone at this venue and the entire Tres LA team and wish we could get married all over again. You won't regret choosing this place!!! read more

This venue is pure magic! As you walk in you are greeted with gorgeous tile work, chandeliers, lush greenery and the friendliest staff. I feel so lucky to have snagged this place for my Dec. 2018 wedding! My husband and I were blown away from our first visit. Our wedding was remarkable due to the lovely space, staff and ambiance. We had the pleasure of working with JEN on the event/catering side and ANDREA on the venue side- both were incredible and we wish we could relive the day over and over! This review is for Jen and Andrea. From the beginning, Jen was very easy to communicate and work with. Her infectious energy can really lift your spirits - critical when it comes time to writing those massive vendor checks! She really was a major factor for my fiance and I to go with this venue. Andrea gets down to business and makes sure the details are taken care of and is thorough with her approach - a necessity when it comes to planning. Wedding planning is a stressful time but they both really managed to make the experience pleasurable. Our wedding is in 10 days so I'll be sure to update this with our day of experience as well :). I would rate the Ebell Club of Long Beach 10 STARS if I could! It's all you need for a wedding, incredible food, yummy drinks, and attentive staff all wrapped up in one beautiful place! Best decision that we made for our wedding. The venue is simply stunning so you don't have to spend a lot on decorations - the tiles, chandeliers, art, and plants are GORGEOUS. Our guests loved the space so much that one couple even told us they are now considering it for their own wedding. And the food!!! WOW. It is absolutely DELICIOUS. We did a buffet so that guests could take as much food as they want and several people went back for seconds. For the mains we chose the miso salmon and the slow cooked short ribs - both were perfection, I especially loved the favor of the salmon and how tender both the salmon and short ribs were :) The bar was also poppin. We did wine, beer, and three speciality cocktails. The mezcal paloma, a suggestion by the venue based on our menu, was super popular. Guests also loved the sweet potato au gratin, salads, and dessert! To get everything in order for the big day we initially worked with Sharen and then with Jen. Both are total sweethearts and super responsive to emails and questions. Getting quick responses to emails eliminates a lot of stress when you are planning a wedding, so we are super thankful to the amazing Ebell team for answering our million questions and being so great to work with! Last, its a popular venue, so try to be flexible on timing - its worth pushing out your wedding a few months, if necessary, to nail down this place! Do yourself a favor and book it! Truth told, I my choice was The Ebell's sister property, the intimate Carondelet House in LA. My fiancee (now hubby) loved The Ebell and pushed. I felt The Ebell may too big for our under 100 wedding...plus, neither of us really knew much about the Long Beach area. We worked with Sharen and Andrea and they were great. They showed us options to make the space not feel expansive and I got on board. It really is a striking venue. I love that the venue, at first glance reads as lush and classic...then little pops of edge give it just enough to funk to feel fresh...very un-basic. We opted for a buffet (my father was a caterer and he always said that buffet weddings had more fun energy...not sure why, but it stuck!) and we got RAVES about the food. Who raves about wedding food? The fun thing The Ebell did was have an evening with a tasting of some of the food options. It was in the evening and you shared a big table with other couples getting married at The Ebell. What a fun night! We processed wedding planning with other couples, took pix and asked tons of questions to Team TresLA. Such a terrific idea to do a group tasting. Since we didn't know Long Beach well, we depended on Sharen's references for Welcome Drinks, Goodbye Brunch and our cupcakes (in lieu of a cake). We chose only from her suggestions and NAILED IT! Sharen and her team were super communicative and avail. The urged us to ask questions. They want the day to go off without a hitch...and it did! Our guests LOVED the venue, food and staff. My husband's mom told me one of the bartenders came around the bar to tell her how beautiful her shawl was. So sweet! Just the glimpse at the top tier mensches they work with. If the space is striking in person, it photographs even more regal. The night was perfect...and we have the photos to prove it! Team Ebell/TresLA for the win! Thanks guys! read more

We had our wedding at this very unique and beautiful venue - it's gorgeous. That is the only good thing I can say about the Ebell. Maybe because they know their space is unique and charming they do not concentrate on customer service. If you are thinking of having your wedding or event here READ and RE-READ the contract before you sign. Talk through all of the specifics with the venue and get their promises in writing. The Food was ehhh (which isn't what you want for your wedding - tres LA overrated) they charge you for a tasting.... yes most venues don't but you have to pay to get a tasting here. Nothing was easy and everything was an up charge. One example would be to let the florist in to set up for the day was an up charge. Most venues wouldn't do that. For such a "high end" venue it felt like their attitude throughout the entire process was if you don't like it you can cancel; and we would have and gladly lost our 15k deposit if we found another venue that had New Year's Eve available. Unfortunately it was too late to find another venue for us and we were stuck with the crooks and swindlers at the Ebell. Too many things to list on what went wrong with only the beautiful space being lone thing that went well. My advice is to proceed with caution with the Ebell, and shop around. If we could do it all over again we wish we went with a different venue. read more

Where do I even begin!?!?!? We had zero intention of getting married in Long Beach but the minute we walked into the doors, we knew this was THE place! The skylights brighten up the main room like magic. The tiled floor made you feel like you're in a Moroccan home. The parlor was such a fun space and the dining area was absolutely stunning. The little nooks & crannies throughout make for some really amazing photo opps! & we loved that they used old school champagne glasses - such a classy touch! We got married in Nov., 2018. Working with Sharen was an absolute breeze! My fiance is a chef & I am an event planner so the stakes were high to make everything absolutely perfect & the entire team at Ebell delivered. We went for our tasting & we were so impressed, especially my fiance who's expectations were very high! When picking out our menu for our family style meal, Sharen let us pull entrees from plated menus & side dishes from other menus to make ours exactly what we wanted. She made sure our favorite wines were available as well. We were assigned Andrea as our site manager. It was a little difficult getting a design meeting (& subsequent floor plan) as she was extremely busy. We did have a little hiccup with the set-up of the dining tables but after a few conference calls, we were able to get everything set as we had hoped. All our guests were beyond amazed at the beauty of the venue & how delicious the food was. Everyone said "wedding food is never this good - it was amazing!" Kudos Tres LA! WOW! That was the most highly used word when describing our experience with the Ebell. From the moment we toured this venue, we knew it would be the right one for our 140 guests wedding. It was literally a dream. We worked with the best coordinator, Jen MacLean, who was professional, kind, accommodating and FUN! She's the crown jewel of the venue, so I highly recommend working with her. Guests kept saying how stunning the venue was and how perfect every little corner was decorated. Our daughter found this hidden gem , Ebell of Long Beach, on Instagram when looking for a venue for her wedding. Her dream had always been to have a dance party for her wedding. After the ceremony is completed all the chairs are removed to make way for the most incredible dance floor! We couldn't have been more pleased with Ebell of Long Beach. Everything was so well done. The staff was very helpful. But one person stood out above everyone ... Jen!!! She was so attentive to any questions we had. Her quick responses and helpful advice made the process so comfortable. She was a joy to work with. We can't say enough about her and the whole experience! We are so grateful. read more

We had our Wedding at the Ebell Club and it was one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding and resulting in an amazing day. We are both Chef's (He's a Chef for Mina Group in SF, She's Pastry Chef at the French Laundry) and needless to say we had specific and high expectations for not only the food at the wedding but also the service and attention to detail in hospitality. Jenn and her team were great, accommodating our special requests for the menu as well as our guests who were kosher and had other dietary restrictions. Jenn was able to give us referrals for other vendors we used for the wedding who all did a fantastic job. The space is romantic with the right combination of modern and classic design elements. It has a smartly appointed room for the cocktail reception, with an eclectic mix of furniture and design elements which are comfortable, engaging, and sophisticated. Jenn was very responsive to specific adjustments we wanted to make after the tasting and little was lost in translation which allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding when the day came. We started with well executed canapés and were even able to have a cool caviar presentation for the event. First Course was an heirloom citrus salad with avocado and crisp shaved winter vegetables. Second Course was Crispy skinned Mediterranean Sea Bass with baby artichokes and a perfectly balanced vinaigrette. The main course was a Moroccan style beef ribeye and both the fish and meat were cooked perfectly which can be challenging for a large event. We feel like the hospitality, service, and food exceeded expectations and the space was a steal compared to the other venues were considering. We strongly recommend this venue for anybody who has the chance to book it. Thank you TresLA and Jenn for everything! read more

I got married at the lovely Ebell Long Beach a little over a month ago. Not only is the venue beyond gorgeous, but the service is also STELLAR! I am an Event Manager at Terranea Resort so I am used to the many curveballs people can throw your way during the planning process. Thank goodness we got assigned to work with Jen MacLean at the Ebell!!!! Jen worked tirelessly to ensure that ALL of our special requests came to fruition... and we had A LOT of special requests. From surprising my husband with a late night cheese fountain to the minute details of what liquors and varietals of wine we wanted served at the bar, Jen was so extremely helpful the whole time. What we appreciated the most about Jen is that she was HAPPY to help us. She always had a smile on her face, was so quick to respond to every email and request and always made time for us whether in-person or on the phone. If she wasn't able to accommodate one of our special requests (which was rarely) she always presented another option. As the bride, I truly felt at ease working with her. I knew everything was going to be perfect the day of... and it was. She is a true professional. I really cannot say enough nice things about her!! If you book your wedding here, make sure you ask for Jen!! The venue itself is so beautiful. Every room has such charm and character. You can tell someone really took the time to perfectly map out every detail. The food at the venue (Tres LA Catering) is some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding... not to mention the presentation which is also so thoughtful and beautiful. The night of our wedding was truly flawless. It was a dream from start to finish! I wish I could go back and do it all over again!!! Thank you Jen and Ebell Long Beach for a night me, my new husband, my friends and my family will never forget!!! read more

We recently got married at the Ebell of Long Beach (not to be confused with the Ebell of Los Angeles, a completely different venue), and although I'm biased, I really think the Ebell of Long Beach is one of the most beautiful and unique venues in Southern California and their catering company, Tres LA has the best food of any wedding I've been to! (I'll write a separate review for Tres LA) Their staff were all very easy to work with and made the planning process easy. If you've looked at the pictures and like the style, definitely go to an open house to check it out! It's a really beautiful space and all our guests also loved the venue and were asking how I found such a great place. There's an amazing bridal suite upstairs to get ready, a fully furnished cocktail lounge and the space is so beautifully decorated that you really don't need to add much. They have tables, chairs, a parking lot and an in-house sound system.. a lot of things that aren't always included with a lot of venues. The only thing we had to rent on our own were linens which was easy. Tres LA also owns Carondelet House in Los Angeles which I also loved but it definitely has a different style, and it was booked every Saturday for the entire year! if you're looking for a truly unique indoor wedding venue, definitely check out the Ebell of Long Beach and Carondelet House, and if you love it, book quickly! Their dates fill up fast. read more

My wife and I had our wedding at the Ebell in Long Beach on 7/15/2016 and we absolutely loved it. The venue is amazing, and we both thought it looked even better than the pictures. Each room is very thoughtfully decorated and unique. The furniture and décor is all very stylish and cool. We hardly needed to bring in extra decorations because the space is so amazing. Our guests kept telling us how awesome the venue looked. We hosted about 150 people, and the space was perfect (although I am sure it could accommodate a larger wedding without any problems). The dance floor in the main room is very large, which worked perfect for our guests. Vai and her team at the Ebell were amazing to work with. Everything was carried out smoothly and professionally. My wife and I didn't have to worry about anything on our big day. Anyone thinking of getting married in So Cal that wants a beautiful indoor space should visit this venue. read more

I am a wedding & event planner and just recently worked with the Ebell in Long Beach on a wedding. The staff and team at the Ebell and Tres LA did an amazing job of working with my client to create an amazing event. The staff on the day of the wedding was very helpful and professional. Jennifer, Andrea, Sara and Alistar were all a pleasure to work with! The beauty of the venue combined with great service makes me feel confident that I will refer new brides & grooms there in the future! Talayeh B. Tala Events read more

Wow, where to start? We had the pleasure of working with Sharen for over a year and a half from the time we toured the venue up to our wedding day and she's the best. She was available to answer all our questions whenever we needed her. She helped us navigate the process of customizing our menus and desserts, and gave us ideas for making the venue a reflection of us as a couple. My husband was able to drop in to the venue as needed to check the sound system (since we did our own music), plan our processional, etc. thanks to Sharen being so accommodating. Since we worked with her for so long from booking to wedding day, she really felt like she became a friend to us. As for the venue, it's just as beautiful as the pictures make it seem. The process of wedding planning is stressful enough, so having a venue that's already meticulously decorated is a blessing. We really didn't have to bring in too many outside decorations and you can tell how much thought and effort the owner puts into the decor. And don't even get me started on the food. There's always that fear that when you do a tasting, the food won't be as good the day of due to the volume that has to be put out. Not true for Tres LA. Our guests RAVED about the appetizers and dinner. We were even able to special order a couple vegan meals for the guests who required it, and they both remarked that they'd never been able to eat so much at a wedding before and loved their dish. The fact that we were able to add our own appetizer, Cuban sandwiches, as a nod to my husband's family, was really special. The serving staff was great. We were attended to all night with our own dedicated server making sure we always had a drink and food. The rest of the staff was just as good, efficient, and professional. I can't stress enough what an amazing wedding day we had thanks to everyone at the Ebell. read more
