First float spa experience was a success! I went for a 30 min chair massage session and then to the float tank. The chair massage is better than any chair massage I've ever had and measures your body prior to giving the massage. I really like how it squeezed my arms, hands, and legs. The float spa was spacious and the perfect temperature. It felt like I was suspended in a giant bowl of warm jello. The only thing that would have made it better was to have my own music playing. Anyways, I highly recommend the massage then float combo. I'd like to add on the ice bath next time!

If you're like me, you're probably skeptical of certain new experiences, especially ones that might be a bit off the traditional routes. I had taken a bit of a gamble and purchased a group of services for my wife for Mother's Day--she loved it. So much so that she bought me a package for Father's Day. Scheduling was easy and walking in, you immediately get yoga studio and spa vibes. They have all kinds of fun heath and mystical elements for sale in the lobby like crystals, teas, and the like. Shoes off when you go in--I dig that. Tea, water, and music bowls available in the lounge area. Great downbeat chill music, too. First up was a chair massage. I don't usually think much of these things but these ones were really luxurious. After that, I got a wonderful introduction from my guide, Tara, to the otherworldly experience that is a float. After a quick shower right in the private room, stepping into a thousand pounds of salt felt strange. I challenged myself and turned off the light for the full sensory deprivation experience. It took a while to get past the oddness and let my mind wander, but then it was very much an other-dimension and out-of-body kind of experience. Music brings takes you in and brings you back to reality. Next, I was taken into a blue room with a timer and a tub--the cold plunge. After getting amped up with some breathing exercises, I hovered over until the top of the minute and jumped in. Holy wow...I made it halfway through the 3 minute max time. Felt like death but also life. Next was a half hour in the sauna with halo therapy and chromotherapy (salt and lights). After a good sweat, I got showered and checked out. If you've never tried something like this before, definitely check it out. I'm going back--and turning my phone off...again. Amazing.

This establishment is so calm and welcoming. And my significant other came here after purchasing a 60-minute two-person sauna. It had been so cold, and we needed a pick-me-up to warm our bones. This was so relaxing; we felt like we detoxed and shed some unwanted toxins in our bodies. I highly recommend it, and we will be looking to book other services that are provided.

OMG!!! Pure peace and tranquility. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was zen! It's super clean and inviting. I did the float, which was everything I hoped it would be. I was able to center my mind and even fell asleep, I was so relaxed. The massage chair was amazing. The sauna therapy was cozy and you get to pick which lighting you utilize. I would suggest they have some plus sized robes, but other than that, I had zero complaints.

Ebb and Float is a Columbus GEM. Getting in Infrared Sauna sessions along w/ the Cold Plunge completely changed my lifestyle and mindset. The community is fantastic and the energy of the space is unlike anywhere. 10/10 recommend!

the place was fantastic. clean, helpful and a lovely place to relax and recharge. Anyone looking to sauna or float I highly recommend this place.

    Love the plants! Relaxing environment!

Come here to let the world melt away. I wish it wasn't as expensive so we could go more frequently. I have been to Ebb and Float twice now. Before I went, I researched this place both on Yelp and on Google. The first time we went, we were helped by Nicole. She gave us our orientation and was super calm, sweet and patient. I chose a cabin for my first float. It was a good choice because it includes me, but also didn't make me feel claustrophobic. I am plus size and I had plenty of room. I asked if the music was able to stay on during the float, and it was. The music being on during my float helped me to relax. The only negative aspect of my first float was that there was hair floating in the cabin with me, and it wasn't mine. My husband and I both enjoyed our first float experience so we visited a second time. We visited on a Monday. The second occasion we felt more "rushed." Following checking out, we realized we were over charged by $40 dollars. My husband went back in to have it rectified. The female working refunded what she thought was the correct refund, but had only refunded $20, still leaving us over charged by $20. We would like to visit again, but we would like to try the saunas. The saunas are always so booked up. A third sauna might help alleviate the back up. My advice to anyone new is to: -Make sure you wear loose clothing because you'll be damp upon re-dressing and it's hard to get dressed when the clothing is sticking to you -Come early to your appointment -Ask for 2 bath towels. They only provide one. The shower gets the floor wet and it's not comfortable when your dry clothing touches the wet floor when getting dressed. -Wear easy to slide on shoes -Definitely get a massage before you float -Ask for the ability to change the settings on the massage chair so you can get the intensity that you need

I never heard of this but went for the ride, no expectations. Making an appointment was easy. I followed the instructions and texted the number for appointment time to schedule. It was easy peasy and I had to fill out a consent form that was sent to my email. Since this was our first time, we had to get there 30 mns. early to watch a video and get a tour. Upon entering the place, we found comfortable chairs and a giant waterfall. The place was so welcoming, smelled so good, and had a serene atmosphere. We waited a few minutes and the manager came out to sign us in. She gave us flip flops to use while we were there and showed us first to the relaxing room we will come out to when we were done. We will get complimentary tea, cucumber lemon waters, and 15 mns. of oxygen bar. We were then led to a dark room to watch our instruction video. It was a short and informal video. The leather chaise were so comfortable. After the video, we were finally led to our pod suites and given more instructions and advices. Then it was go time. I locked my door, put the ear plugs in, took a shower and entered my pod naked. The pod was clean and warm. I put my floating head piece on and assumed my position with both hands over my head and feet slightly parted. I relaxed my shoulders and started the breathing technique to slow down my heart rate and closed my eyes. The soothing music and jets would end soon, I manually turned the lights off and tried to relax and think of happy thoughts. It was pitch black and so quiet I heard my heart beat and my breathing. My mind got very creative and I thought of positive things but the thought of not being able to breathe kept creeping in. I'm not sure if it was claustrophobia or normal but the thought of suffocating kept coming back. I would take deep breaths through my mouth a few times and try to change my thoughts. It did relax me 1000%. It was so relaxing once I didn't feel like I was in a coffin, I may have dozed off. The hour went by fast and the lights and sound came back on. I did not want to leave. The float experience is like no other. It's like you are floating in space. I felt so spaced out and relaxed as if I just got a full body massage. There are so many benefits of float tanks: lowers blood pressure, better sleep, gets rid of stress, promotes endorphin production, pain relief, mental clarity, creativity, etc... I signed up for the monthly membership and look forward to my next float. I recommend it to everyone!!! It's sooo good and good for you. Self care is important. I got out and showered again and went to relax in the oxygen room. I sipped on a delicious cranberry orange tea and tried the Bliss oxygen flavor. It was the most refreshing experience.

Your shoes are left in the lobby on a shoe rack. I was offered cucumber water. Since I was new, she took me to a waiting area with lounges to watch an introductory video. Once my room was ready I was taken back and she explained the process. The steps/rules are posted on the wall too. It's helpful to use the restroom prior to going in. There is a shower in your pod room but that's it, along with benches. One is supposed to shower before getting in the pod and make sure any makeup is washed off. You are given ear plugs and towels. There are hooks and a bench for your clothing. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The after shower to rinse off the salt felt good. In the ladies room, there are hair tools and lotion. After the float, you can sit in the common room. I tried the oxygen bar - lavender - but I'm not sure it benefited me. At my first session, Alicia gave me a tour of the space with different health treatments they offer. There are some excellent package deals if you visit often. Alicia was great. There are yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, and a few other items for comfort. Music plays softly and there is a warm glow from the salt wall. At my first treatment I didn't really notice any salt in the room compared to other salt therapies I have gone to. Alicia said they use a finer grain of salt. A surprisingly fantastic experience…read more I wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled up, but the property was easy to find. My first impression was honestly a mix of charm and "is this really it?" The fence door was literally "locked" together with a coat hanger. Once I stepped inside, everything shifted. I was the first guest to arrive and was greeted warmly by two staff members. They were friendly and relaxed, and they immediately made the place feel welcoming. I had the sauna completely to myself for the first 15 to 20 minutes, sitting at around 120°. I tried to keep time with rhythm and settle in, planning on doing a few 15‑minute rounds since I had booked a full two hours. After a while, I just followed my pulse to tell me to take a break. They also had a cold plunge tub, and I'm so glad I decided to use it. Alternating between the sauna and the plunge ended up being my procedure for the entire visit. As more people arrived, we eventually got the sauna up to 190° to 200°, and I got to experience the heat directly from the stove. I sat near the ceiling and near the door, and I even got to fulfill a small dream of pouring the water and doing the löyly myself! The people were fantastic. The conversation was genuinely great, the kind you don't expect but really appreciate. It felt communal without being crowded. Eight people made the truck feel full without being crowded. I could feel the heat on my nostrils as I breathed. There was no judgment about what you wore or how you used your towel. At one point a chunk of snow-cone ice was put on the rocks, infused with a lemongrass scent that opened up my sinuses. I finished the entire session with the "bucket dump." The changing area and bathroom are definitely on the primitive side. They are functional but nothing fancy. That said, they do have nice lockers, benches, and chairs outside, which helped balance things out. Overall, this was a memorable and energizing experience! The building is a little rustic around the edges, but the sauna room in the truck, the heat, the plunge, and the people more than made up for it. I hope to be back!
