These guys were close by and said they'd take a look at it while I waited, so I ran over there on my lunch break. When I explained the problem, the guy said he was pretty sure he knew what happened and proceeded to not only fix it, but fix it right in front of me, explaining what he was doing, so I could do it myself if the same thing happened again. I was there for about 10 minutes total, but I happily wrote a check for $50, knowing that was the ONLY time I'd have to do it. Since then, I have not only used the fix he taught me MULTIPLE times on my own laptop, I even taught a couple of my friends the same trick, saving them a trip to the repair shop.

Wasted my time unfortunately…read more Gus came out on 3/31/21 to give me a quote on an email migration and he was pleasant and professional. He told me he was willing and ready to take on my project and that it would be 6-8 hours of work. I thought that was a little high to move 2 email addresses and wanted to get other quotes so I let him know on 4/1 that I would be back in touch shortly. I didn't end up having the time to interview other techs so 5 days later on April 6th, I texted Gus to let him know that I wanted to proceed with him. I knew he had amazing reviews and came to the conclusion that even if the price was a little high it would be worth it to know I was getting someone knowledgeable and available. And time was of the essence so I needed to move forward. Gus never responded to my text. Yesterday, (13 days after receiving no response) I followed up and Gus' reply to me was "Hi, sorry swapped at the moment". I presume he meant swamped and that he is now not available? I honestly feel that Gus was offended that I questioned his pricing/time necessary to move 2 email addresses from hostgator to Office; but I feel as consumers, we have the right to ask questions and make the most informed decisions possible. Now, 3 weeks later I'm back to square one. Feeling frustrated and defeated. Time is our most valuable resource and nothing upsets me more than having mine wasted! Leaving 2 stars because I do feel Gus was knowledgeable and could've successfully achieved what I needed.
